My children and I have been coming here for 11 years now. They have always treated us like family, from all the front office staff to the dentist, hygienist and owner. I love them all . They take the utmost care to provide the best service. They always follow up with me and my family after any work. They text reminders, which helps me a lot. They are always kind, caring and friendly. They go above and beyond for their patient. If you feel nervous going to the dentist no need, the dentist here make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I feel they are very honest, as they talk with you, and only recommend work that is necessary. I cant say enough good things about them. They have helped me so much! And my children think they are great too! I highly recommend coming here for all your dental needs!

Great staff and office. As a new patient they were warm and welcoming. They started me early and worked as a team to get me in and out as efficiently as possible. They explained each part of their procedure just so I was well informed. I am happy to be a new patient of theirs and will continue to come back!

I really like Dr. Dharia and all the staff! Theyre so sweet and friendly! I also feel like Dr. Dharia is a very honest man, caring more about doing whats right for me (the patient) than, for example, doing whats more profitable for the business. Dr. Dharia and his staff provide exceptional service. I recently had 19 crowns put in to replace my old, cracked veneers and teeth. Dr. Dharia and staff do a great job with sedation, I was out for over 6 hours and when I woke up, my 19 teeth were prepared for crowns. I am thrilled with the result! My new crowns feel smooth and amazing and look great too! I highly recommend Dr. Dharia for your dental needs.

This is the most comfortable dentist office I have ever been to. The dentists are absolutely fantastic professionals. The dental assistants are just as gifted. The front desk staff are highly experienced and so friendly. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Dharia! 100% Doesn’t Give Up!When I’m given the opportunity to give recognition to a professional, I take it! (Just to give you an idea of what was going on..) I was not the patient a dentist looks forward to seeing. I came in his office with reservation, fear and I had never had a cleaning before. The only dental visits I had, had were when the pain got to be too much to handle. I had a lot of work done in Mexico also.Dr. Dharia tackled it all. From broken teeth and unhealthy habits to smile worthy implants. He was gentle and talked to me in a language I could understand. I think what I like most about his professional side is that he listened. He heard me when I said I was afraid. He even heard me when I used no words. My body language told him I wasn’t happy at one point. He listened and he addressed it. He cares about results. His staff is genuine. When they call it’s a friendly voice and they know who I am. They call the day after a procedure to check in with me and the reminder texts for appointments are always helpful.My mouth is a personal place. I don’t really like dental visits. Dr. Dharias office has given me new perspective. It’s worth it. Yesterday I saw the hygienist Jamie. She was able to check off all of the to-dos on my list. It was a visit like never before. Enjoyed meeting Dr Dharia now that Dr Smith retired. He seemed very focused, calm and careful to answer all my questions. He had reviewed my records prior to the exam after a great (post Covid!)cleaning by Sara. I did decide to go with the insurance-like program the office uses this year and get work done. The front desk staff us always terrific and tries to help anyway they can-- thanks Jamie!

I went in for a cleaning with Chiara who took her time and just did the best job I could have hoped for. These days most of your time is spent with the hygienist, so a dental office with great hygienists is really key. Dr. Dharia came and looked at my teeth to check if anything needs to be watched or if I need treatment but all is good. Recommend this dental office for sure.

I had been in the emergency room recently because of jaw issues. The ER made sure it was not dislocated. They determined the muscles were in spasm and inflamed. They gave me some muscle relaxers and hoped for it to subside. However, each day I would wake up and it wouldnt be any better. I started seeking therapy for it from my chiropractor and making slow and steady progress. However, one night, my crown came off of my back molar and my primary dentist said they would need to replace it. I went to my chiropractor and told him. He personally walked me down to his dentist (La Costa Family Dental/same plaza) and explained my circumstance to them. Laurie and Dr. Dharia, as well as the other dentist (I apologize, I forgot his name) treated me so kindly. They not only helped me on the spot, they worked with my financial restraints as well. They were very compassionate and thorough. Dr. Dharia performed treatment to the jaw muscles that immediately allowed me more mobility. I will now be able to open my mouth enough to get my crown replaced with my primary. I cant emphasize enough what an amazing team they are, the compassion and skill they have, and the organization they possess to be able to fit me in at a moments notice so efficiently. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The staff here are super nice. They always greet you with a smile. Dr. Dharia really knows his profession . Even better than that , he really cares about your outcome. I drive from Riverside to go to this office.

I highly recommend La Costa Family Dental office. Dr. Dharia and his entire staff are friendly and professional. I had a serious gum infection that was let go for too long and I lost my front tooth because of it. Dr. Dharia specializes in implants but did not recommend an implant for me because of too much bone loss where the infection was. He is honest. Instead he did a bridge with bone grafting. His assistants were unsure he would be able to get my teeth to look natural but he knew he could do it. He is highly skilled and most of all, hereally cares about his patients and the results they have. You can trust his judgment when he recommends something because he is a perfectionist.My teeth look much better then they did before. I am so happy. I recommend this office and the Dental team there with 100%Certainty you will be more then satisfied.

Just came in for regular cleaning. On time, done well and quickly, but the tech took all the I needed to answer questions and review results.

Best practice!!! The welcoming nature of the front staff, to the imaging tech, and the providers made me feel like more than just a patient. Dr. Dharia was extremely professional and took the time to sit with me to discuss my exam findings and tailor an individualized dental plan that worked for me. Had the time to ask as many questions as I had/needed while never feeling rushed. Honestly, this is the type of dental practice and experience that I have been searching for a while and now that I’ve found it, there isn’t another place I would go to

I recently had an extraction for a fractured molar....unfortunate, but it is what it is. Treatment was good...no complaints. However...Id like an implant to replace the missing molar, but not here, because the price they quoted was $6,300 for one tooth. Insurance wont cover it since its cosmetic. Wont be getting that service here...youre definitely paying La Costa prices here!

Love Dr. Kevin! I had my teeth broken during a game of golf on a Sunday and my friend gave me his info. He totally came in to meet me at 6pm and undid what the emergency room did. He had me with temp teeth in 5 days and had my new teeth in within 2 mos. Everyone was so surprised that I had new teeth so quickly. Having your teeth knocked out sucks but Kevin made it a better experience. He is now our dentist for life.

Kevin Smith is great, very caring and goes out of the way to help. The dental hygienists and office staff are also the best.

If you want to be ripped off this is the place for you. My 18 year old daughter went in for a cleaning by here self She came home and told me she had to go back because she had a cavity.Ok, I thought. Shed never had a cavity in her life, but I guess it happens. A few weeks later she had her wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Craig Chan, an Oral Surgen in Encinitas. We love him. When we got the bill, we found that out detail expense account was short $500.00, money we had set aside for the oral surgery. Turns out Dr. Smith had not filled a cavity but had preformed a procedure that he did not discuss with us and then billed our insurance for to the amount of $1,500.00. The insurance company then took $500.00 out of our spending account so that we did not then have it for the oral surgery. Talk about being mad. I called the office to let them know that our entire family would not be returning. Then I learned from another source that this was a common practice and that the procedure was probably not even necessary- just preventive. Since we are a family of four and have been in the practice since it belonged to Dr. Rosen, I think a call to the parents would be appropriate when anything but a cleaning is done. Dont you?To bad there isnt a zero star. Have you noticed that there isnt anything but 5 star reviews here. Thats questionable.
