I was looking for a local place to take my business since I had a terrible experience with Massage Envys customer service.This place was a wonderful surprise. I booked a weekday special with Jackie and couldnt have been happier. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. At the end of the massage, i was able to meet the owner and I could tell he really cares about customers experience.I will definitely return!

This is one of the best salons I have ever frequented. I am from TN but visit anytime I am in town to see my sister. The staff is amazing and so welcoming! I did the special they had for 1 hour massage and 1 hour facial for Mothers day. So very relaxing, I arrived and received a glass of lemon lavender champagne, enjoyed my massage with Olivia and my facial with Chelsea was amazing. My skin felt wonderful afterwards. I enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries they provided for Mothers day in the waiting lounge. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I would recommend going. I will be enjoying it again hopefully before next Mothers day!

I love this place- it is amazing! They offer a variety of facials which all leave my skin looking flawless. In particular, Megan is awesome, so fun and very skilled. My skin has never looked better. The massage therapists are fantastic also. The nail room is bright and relaxing. The products used in the spa are high quality. And did I mention the comp mimosa at the end of your treatment? Special shout out to the friendly staff that always makes me feel welcome! Worth every penny!

If you want a perfect manicure/pedicure that will last book with Paige. She definitely goes the extra mile to make sure that your nails look spectacular every time. No shortcuts here. One major highlight is that she gets super close close to the cuticle with the polish... my nails grow fast and even a week out they look like Ive just stepped out of the spa. Come here for a relaxing atmosphere, awesome service and perfect nails every time.

I had a wonderful 90-minute massage on my birthday. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who offered me champagne..to which I gladly accepted. Skinsational Spa is my go to spa and I will continue to go and enjoy their services!

What an amazing day spa in the heart of Carlsbad. You would never know from the outside what a relaxing and wonderful spa Skinsational is. I had the Fiji manicure and loved it. It included a scrub, moisturizing lotion and spray. Their sanctuary is available for relaxing with a cup of tea while you wait for a service. I will be back for a massage!

To start My sister and I receive excellent massages (gift from my Neice for Mother’s Day), so decided to try nail salon (mistake) when I left and was able to see my nails in the daylight to my dismay one of the worst nail jobs I have ever received my feet were just okay! I contacted Thomas with photos of my nails and was asked to basically give them another try with “a little something something of a discount”! Well I did return and was charged full price and an additional amount to remove nails!! So I asked the receptionist where was the discount and did we need to call Thomas, she quickly said; no, I’ll take off the charge for nail removal!! Well I contacted Thomas later, who then said; he would look into the situation! Well days later I initiated contact once again and was told by him, that he was talking to the owner and would get back to me.This is what he wrote on July 3rd:Mary we are giving you a credit card return of 20.00 dollars along with the 10.00 dollar something I promised this weekend. I will need your card number to process the credit. Total of 30.00 dollar compensation. ThomasOn Tuesday the 16th of July I wrote: Good Morning Thomas, remember me 😊 Mary Fritz, Thomas I have not received my credit! Was there a problem?I provided him with requested info! As of today July 19,2019 I have not heard from him or seen my credit! Dang. I was really disappointed in my facial. ( fire and ice ) It was quite costly and I think that she may have put two things on my face. For the same money I could have gotten other facials with antioxidants and vitamins and even a peel. She recommended the fire and ice. It was definitely not worth the money. A 60 minute facial with a neckrub and arm massage and Im pretty sure I was done in less than an hour. There was no steam and I dont feel like she inspected my face under the light at all until she asked if I wanted extractions ? Well I dont know. Do I need it ?I have had this same facial in Arizona where I live and it was definitely not the same. Disappointed.On a side note , the staff was very nice as was the esthetician .

I have had neck pain for several days now and half way through my work day on Friday, I realized that waiting for the weekend to take care of it was going to be difficult. I called Skinsational and asked them to please see me immediately. 45 minutes later I was on a massage table.The young lady who took care of my was Stacy and she worked on my neck in a way that was good rough - that is what you have to do to make it right. I am so grateful that she really got into the bad spots and I am now pain free. She knew just where to focus and I am so happy.Wonderful experience.

My wife and I got a couples massage. They massage you, give you champagne, and give you a half hour to shower and relax by the little fire place or whatever. Great experience. Definitely worth it

Went here on a recommendation from my sister and can’t belive I have never noticed this place before, gorgeous inside!! Staff was very friendly and my faciaist Emma was AWESOME.. i originally wanted an anti aging facial but my skin was a bit irritated so she said the oxygen facial would be better , great call .. my skin looks amazing and fresh.. walked out with zero make up on and glowing skin!!!! This place is fantastic! Not only did they fit myself and my daughter in last minute on 4th of July weekend...they were so welcoming and so kind. Megan did my facial..and it was great! I dont get to have spa treatments very often..due to busy work and homeschedule and my hands full with my kiddos, so this was a nice treat. If I were to splurge again..I would definitely return to skinsational! Thanks Megan!!

My friend and i treated ourselves to a spa day and it was outstanding. We had massages, and mani-pedis. The staff is great and the services leave you feeling wonderful.

I came here for my birthday a few years back. I had a massage, facial, and manicure. The manicure was definitely the best of the three treatments. Both the massage and facial were subpar to say the least. My boyfriend paid for a pedicure but they couldnt give me a pedicure that day for whatever reason so they gave me a credit instead of giving me a refund. Later that year I received another credit here for $100 as a Christmas present from a relative. So basically I had about $130-$150 in credit here (I shouldve insisted on getting cash).A couple months ago I called to finally redeem my credit on a facial. When I called, I asked the receptionist to look up my account so I could find out exactly how much money I had to redeem. To which she explained to me that the store has changed owners since then and she could assure me that the new owners would not honor my credit!?! That makes absolutely no sense to me! Where did MY money go between owners? Did either the previous owner or the new owner just cash out the money that I had spent here without honoring any services?!?!This business is completely shady and should not be trusted!!! I will NEVER come to this dishonest, untrustworthy, CON of a spa again! If you want to go someplace a lot nicer that would never steal from their customers, go to the Inn in Rancho Santa Fe! Skinsational is a total sham of a spa!Additionally, if you look deep enough, they use a company called Demand Force that surveys customers and only posts 5 star positive reviews and discards all of their less than fantastic reviews! A business like this should not be trusted!And some advice to anyone who decides to come here... If they do not fulfill all of the services that youve paid for, demand your money back because you will never see it again!SHAME ON YOU SKINSATIONAL!!!! The new owners should change the name to SCAMSATIONAL!

I have not used the actual Spa services here, however I cannot speak highly enough of Terri who does my Botox. As you can imagine, the first time you have this done you are nervous and not sure what to expect and worry if you are going to come out looking like a freak or be botched. Terri could not be more reassuring and she really knows her stuff! She put me at ease from the first first time we met and I have been going back to her again and again to have my Botox done and would not even consider going to anyone else. I have recommended her to more people than I can count. Its nice to know that I can trust her as there are so many things that could go wrong if you go somewhere dodgey!. You might pay a couple of dollars more here per unit than other places but I assure you that I have never had anything but amazing results from her doing my botox (no droopey eyelids or raised eyebrows here!!!) If you are nervous about pulling the trigger, go see here for a consultation, you will not be sorry. The spa is clean and calming and the girls up front are really nice too. Make sure you sign up for Brilliant Distinctions so you get money off your botox treatments.

I called into this spa last week to make an appointment for a manicure, the price of $35 appeared reasonable and I asked if it included shellac polish. The receptionist informed me that it did so I booked a pedicure too for a combined price of $48.I attended my appointment on 13th June with a nail technician called Scheryl. She asked me to pick my colour and I informed her that I would like a French manicure. This is apparently $10 extra which I was not told at the time of booking. I was slightly disgruntled about it but I carried on nonetheless as I needed my nails done for a wedding. This is my first manicure in California and Ive never had a specify a French manicure before.During the first few minutes Scheryl and the other employee began discussing the new girl who was going to be in at 6pm that evening. They began to talk about how she had already mentioned changing things around, she wants to put tulips on the desk. I could not believe they were sat there with two clients and they were essentially bitching about the new girl because she had some ideas! Then a gentlemans name was mentioned (Ill keep his name confidential which is more than Scheryl had the decency to do), Scheryl apparently had to make up that she had a client coming to get away from talking to this man. The other technician said yeah, hes a slow man I took this to mean that he was a happy gentleman who just liked to take things easy in life and didnt like to rush things. Scheryls thoughts however, immediately turned to him being mentally disabled! She was corrected and it turns out that he IS a man who doesnt rush but hes all there mentally. I was disgusted that this bitching session was taking place right in front of and OVER the heads of two clients! So unprofessional.Towards the end of the manicure Scheryl pointed out that because I had asked for a French manicure, next time (as if thats going to happen), inform the receptionist so she can book out extra time. Because this wasnt done, the hand massage was forfeited. Basically, she had cut my cuticles, filed and painted my nails. She then led me back to the reception area. No mention at all of my pedicure!I explained to receptionist that the massage hadnt been included and was told again about the extra time. They then tried to charge me $48 for my manicure! I am more than willing to pay people for their time, but Scheryl didnt actually spend any extra time on me. One service was put in place of another. The receptionist went and spoke to someone in another room and she offered me 10% off. I explained that the $10 extra is because of the extra time but I didnt receive extra time spent on me so I dont agree with having to pay for it. It was at this point I mentioned my pedicure (because they werent going to mention it!) and the receptionist said oh yeah and mumbled something about the computer system. She then charged me the $35 price listed because at that point she finally realised that there had been a MONUMENTAL balls up.My nails are not of the standard you would expect from somewhere like this, they arent even, a couple of the tips are lighter than the others. I would not recommend this place for a manicure.I never write reviews. I was going to do it as soon as I left but I thought why leave a bad review in the heat of the moment. Its the next day and I still feel very disappointed and disgusted at their lack of professionalism.

I found this place through a Google search of a local Ultherapy provider. It was close to my home and my work area. I dropped in on July 7, 2015 to inquire about pricing an availability and the receptionist offered a consult with the nurse, who would be available in five minutes. I said okay, as I had a 30 minute lunch break and the receptionist assured me it would only take 10-15 minutes. Perfect, I thought!! I had done all my research on Ultherapy and wanted to get this done for my 48th birthday that is approaching and chalked this impromptu consult to fate! Very excited, I was given some paperwork to fill out while I waited the five minutes for the nurse. Done! Paperwork filled out and I was placed in the waiting room with the lovely waterfall. I waited....and waited...Then, realizing it had already been 16 minutes that I had been sitting there and I only had 30 minutes of lunch time, which I clearly indicated to the receptionist, I poked my head into the reception area to inquire if the nurse was coming soon?. The receptionist said, Oh, shes not with you yet? Nope, I said!! She picked up the phone, told me to sit down and the nurse would be with me immediately Great! I sat down...and waited........27 minutes into my five minute wait time, it was time to go. I got up said goodbye to the receptionist and opened the door to leave, when she said, What did you think? I said, About what? no one ever came to consult with me She said Oh, Ill have to talk to her about that... So I left!!! Big thumbs down on the customer service. But here where I give this place one star (and Id like to give zero, but its not an option): I filled out a huge amount of paperwork. This paperwork has my phone number, email address and snail mail address. I thought for sure after the rudeness of the nurse, I would at minimum get a call to apologize. Better still, how about some contact as you have a prospective client willing to pay you for a procedure. NOPE! Here we are, four weeks later... No call, no email, no paper mail!! Nothing!! Which leads me to believe that this establishment has soooooo much business it doesnt need any more from me or anyone else!
