Yesterday my daughter and I went to La Costa Chiropractic and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. It’s unlike any chiropractic place I’ve ever been to... It’s a full clinic, of sorts. They have an x-ray machine as well as some other neat imaging tech. Dr. Berry listened to my health concerns regarding the severe pain in my neck and came up with a plan to relieve the nerve issues going on in my body. I have never been more impressed with a doctor and staff and I have been to many over the last 1 1/2 years. Feeing hopeful to be free of pain without the use of heavy medications. Dr. Berry at La Costa Chiropractic is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. I have been under his care for 10+ years. When I first started with him I had severe lower back pain. He put me on a regular schedule of adjustments and gave me exercises to do. In addition, he recommended exercises to do at the gym, as well as nutritional suggestions. The combination of these things brought me back to full heath. I now just see him for maintenance. He is an extremely good doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Dahl at La Costa Chiropractic. I was having terrible pain in my back on Mother’s Day. I couldn’t walk. I had to crawl to get anywhere. It was horrible. After three consecutive visits Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I was upright and the pain had decreased by 80%. He went over a care plan with me and explained everything to avoid this happening in the future. He even called me every night to check in on me. Everyone in the office is also friendly and helpful. I could not have found a better chiropractor.

There are plenty of Chiropractors that seem to specialize in a fast crack that creates more inflammation then it cures, and those that focus on selling you a plan, more than developing a plan that works for you.Dr. Dahl with La Costa Chiropractic performed an Initial assessment, combined with a through review of previous medical history including past scans/x-rays that left me with more information about my condition than any of my specialists in my primary care.Chiropractic care is good medicine for anyone. for someone like me whos specialists state nothing short of major surgery will help me, its a godsend.

I had horrible back pain and spasms recently, so made an acupuncture appointment to see Rick Peterson. My session began with cupping all down my back and it immediately alleviated the pain immensely. After the full acupuncture treatment I felt so much better. My back pain was almost gone. Rick is my favorite acupuncturist and is so helpful. He also gives you tips on how you can keep the pain away at home as well. Definitely go see him!

I have been coming to see Dr. Wood for over 30 years now. The La Costa Chiropractic Team never disappoints. I maybe see him every few years when something from one of my sporting activities causes by body to go out of balance and I need a bit of adjustment. I look at it like owning a car , eventually you are going to need the alignment done on the front end after enjoying lifes bumps along the way. After several adjustments I am back to Football, Golf, Snowboarding, working out and so many other things. Why should I live in agony and miss out on the fun when all I have to do is go see him a few times a week. I hope this helps you if you are considering chiropractic.

Staff is extremely unprofessional. They overbook time slots, they dont adjust you properly and do a bunch of useless tests. They made me and my service dog wait out in over 100° weather during the summer because they had way overbooked MY time slot and told me I was the last on their priority list.Then they sent out emails promoting pro trump political candidates asking their patients to vote for them.Do not go here. Avoid at all costs!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Berry and La Costa Chiropractic since before 2009. Dr. Berry, his colleagues and staff are very professional, excellent chiropractors and have good bedside manners. I suffer from chronic neck pain from an injury I sustained in the 1980s. Dr. Berry helps relieve that pain and stress and has also worked on other alignment issues over the years. Dr. Dahl has been treating me for years. He has always gone above and beyond for me. He truly cares and it shows. For example, I had been in the emergency room recently because of jaw issues. The ER made sure it was not dislocated. They gave me some muscle relaxers and hoped for it to subside. However, each day I would wake up and I still wouldnt be able to open it very far. I started seeking therapy for it from Dr. Dahl and we were making great, steady progress. However, one night, my crown came off of my back molar and my primary dentist said they would need to replace it, but this would mean being able to open my mouth completely. I told Dr. Dahl about at my next appointment. He personally walked me down to his dentist (in the same plaza) and explained my circumstance to them. They injected the muscle with an anti-inflammatory which allows me about 2 weeks of increased mobility for the replacement of my crown at my primary dentist. The medication may wear off in 2 weeks though so I will need to continue to see Dr. Dahl to continue therapy. It is apparent that Dr. Dahl was meant to be in the field of helping people. Im so grateful I found him.

I am a former professional football player from the 70s and 80s and as you can expect, a little bit beat up. I also keep in shape by working out regularly. Dr. Lee Wood at La Costa Chiropractic has done a great job keeping me in the gym and on the golf course with regular adjustments to keep me in alignment and occasionally I see him for specific problems. As I am pretty attuned to my body, he listens to me when I have specific complaints and uses his knowledge to do the necessary adjustments to relieve my pain. I highly recommend him for your chiropractic needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Wood since November of 2018. I have seen multiple different chiropractors but he is hands down the best and most thorough. I came in, barely able to walk and nervous that I would potentially need back surgery. He assured me that he would get me back in shape and that I wouldnt need surgery. He did an x-ray right in his office and was able to diagnose the issue immediately. He personally called me after my first adjustment to make sure that I was feeling ok which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. After a few treatments I started to feel much better and as of this week I am starting to feel like myself again with virtually no back pain. I cant even being to say how grateful I am to have gone to see Dr. Wood. If you have any sort of back issue go see him!

Simply the best, better than all the rest

Skeptic turned Believer! I am not someone who believed in chiropractic care (or had undergone chiropractic adjustment)...that is until about three weeks ago. Suddenly and out of the blue, I had a migraine for the first time. Then I had two more the next two days in a row. I could hardly function and tried EVERYTHING I could think of including rest, quiet, caffeine, dark room, Excedrin migraine and nothing worked or even dulled the pain. I was desperate. I called three chiropractic offices that had good reviews and La Costa answered their phone, answered my questions, and squeezed me in for an appointment that day. (Side note: one of the other offices didnt return my call until TWO days later!) Anyway-I met Dr. Wood who was extremely professional and personable and he took an x-ray which revealed major spasms in my neck. Long story short, he gave me an adjustment (totally pain free and non-scary by the way) and two hours later I was completely cured of my migraine and havent had one since! It seems the neck muscle spasms were the cause of my headache and after everything was back in place properly, my headache disappeared! I am SO grateful and highly recommend Dr. Wood at La Costa Chiropractic!

Dr. Berry has been wonderful and is different then any other chiropractor I have seen. Let me start off by also saying that I have never had a good experience with a chiropractor before, I kind of didn’t think they did anything. I had seen probably around 5-6 throughout the years before Dr. Berry. I would always within a few hours start to feel achy in my body not better. So when a close friend recommended Dr. Berry and said to just give him a try, I said ok but did not expect much but with the non stop burning sensation in my shoulder blade I had to do something.To start Dr. Berry did X-rays on me to really see what was going on, along with some other things that show what’s going on internally. Something no other Chiropractor has done. Then before any adjustment they set with up with heat packs and those muscle stimulating units (sorry can’t recal technical name). Then a nice massage Device is used, feels so good. Then altrasound if necessary. Then I am adjusted. I’m also adjusted in a way that’s different then how other Chiropractors have adjusted me. I leave feeling good but most importantly I am not achy after a few hours. My shoulder blade fire is out and now I only see him for routine adjustments, I actually miss going more often as I would feel so good after.So if you are on the fense or not happy with your current Chiropractor or just looking to feel better in your body, go see Dr Berry. The staff is also really friendly for a added bonus.

I finally found a real chiropractor.. I walked into his office convinced I was just going to have to deal with lower back pain for the rest of my life.. walked out of his office with almost zero pain. I am amazed.
