I saw Dr Aditya C. Sharma after a blood clot on right leg. I left the facility feeling incredibly well after speaking with him and his staff was amazing. I feel like he is incredibly competent and well prepared. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

This facility in Carlisle seems to be treated by Geisinger as a remote outpost, manned mostly by substitutes just to keep the place open. In the 3 years I have been treated here, I am being treated by my third Cardiologist, the previous two having been transferred back to Camp Hill or other places. My latest fiasco with this facility is that I had to reschedule a routine appointment with my Cardiologist, and I called them 6 weeks before the treatment date to do so. I was told that the earliest appointment I could reschedule with My Cardiologist was nearly 6 Months in the future because he is only here one day a week. I was also told that even if I had a medical problem, the earliest I could see him was 6 Months away, and that they would assign another Doctor to treat me if that were the case. Who needs to be a Cardiology Patient in a facility that cannot insure that you could get in to see your Doctor within a reasonable time frame? Not Me !!! In my opinion, if you need Cardiac Care in Carlisle, avoid this Geisinger facility. Following this episode I called another Cardiac Facility in Carlisle, and as even though I was a new Patient, I got an appointment within 2 weeks. Thats what happens when you do business with a medical facility committed to providing realistic scheduling and care. Get real Geisinger, or close this facility !!!
