I have had therapy in other places but Synergy’s holistic approach has done the most good for me. They helped cure my shoulder pain and did great work on my back and legs. I was lucky to have worked with all of their therapists and they are all knowledgeable and professional! I also appreciate their friendly “front desk” staff. They did a great job with my scheduling and worked well with my insurance company. I would highly recommend this therapy approach!

The Synergy Therapeutic Group are 5 star for me. They assessed and implemented a treatment plan for my overall, total body wellbeing. After the first session I walked out pain free for the first time in months. After a few sessions I feel and see significant improvement in my mobility and range of motion. I came to Synergy with pain in my leg muscles, hips, SI joint and hands. Ive been helped tremendously to regain flexibility and strength. Still a way to go, but Im so happy to find Synergy. Their approach to physical therapy is far better than those that concentrate on just the point of pain.

Everyone is very friendly, easy to talk to. Professional in appearance and performance. Always concerned about your comfort and tolerance of the exercise. A great place for therapy. I have experienced a great deal of improvement in the range of motion in my neck and I am beginning to feel relief of pain in my upper back and shoulders as a result of the exercise, stretching and later treatments. I can definitely say I am improving and I really enjoy my visits with my therapists. I have also noticed a change in my gait. I feel more balanced.

Synergy is a wonderful place with staff willing to help you through everything. I had headaches at least 1/3 of each month and synergy decreased the frequency and the intensity of them. Its a great place with a holistic approach that many therapy centers dont use.

I have been struggling on and off with low back issues my whole adult life, especially the last five years with the birth of my third child. These issues even resulted in surgery. In the last few weeks with Synergy I have noticed a huge improvement in my mobility and my lower back pain, which had become a part of my everyday existence, has been largely eliminated. I have a renewed hope and am excited to complete the therapy process. I wish I had come to a Synergy years ago.

Synergy has definitely made a difference in our son in less than a month since we started therapy with them. We have seen sleeping start to become better, he is more willing to try new foods and has definitely had a decrease in tantrums since starting. I love how they work with him to make sure his is comfortable in the therapy environment. They keep therapy interesting and fun for him by incorporating things he likes. It has been great to see that they want to know how his day has been and how home life is going. Checking in to make sure things are progressing at home and not just during therapy is huge! I started receiving care from Synergy while working there. I would have pain in my right shoulder and arm. While the pain was reduced it never truly went away and it would still flare up, usually when interacting with owners. However, when I left Synergy the pain went away completely and I haven’t had any problems since. Best decision I could have made!

For the past month I have been treated for life long back pain, I seem to be getting stronger and I am definitely in less pain. Why didn’t I do this earlier? Wherever your pain is try Synergy, I bet they can help.

Went in on Monday,shoulder hurt bad no range of motion without pain. After Monday felt a lot better but still not much improvement but some.Went back Thursday and added exercises to my routine felt much better and range of motion improved.Friday was the best-range of motion almost back to normal, pain pretty much gone just a little stiff.I had the best therapist. Her name is Faith and she was professional, respectful, helpful, smart.They have a great person there at Synergy.Really appreciate all their help.Be back for more next week.

There were times I was walking like a 90-year-old woman Im only 60 the treatments synergy is giving me is giving my strength back and taking my pain away I love them my happiness has come back my hope for wanting to take outings it is a wonderful place and all the people there are so loving and caring

So far I have really enjoyed my experience here. The staff is professional and they educate while performing treatment. I actually look forward to my appointments, which is an experience I havent felt anywhere else.

Avoid if at all possible.TL;DR -Their billing practices are, at best, malicious. Dont become a victim of them.Long read: We stopped attending with our son because what we *thought* we were paying for every session was outrageous. There is one therapist who was good with him, the others provided zero benefit.The amount we were told by the billing staff was $110 per visit. This is a lot of money, but our son and his future are important. We dug deep, cut some other items out of our budget, and paid the $110, sometimes several times a week.Never, not once, did anyone say that there was a balance due.Never, not once, did anyone tell us that each visit was, in their minds, actually costing double that(as far as the copay, even worse if you count what insurance didnt cover).Every visit, we walked in, handed them check/cash/card, they took our money, smiled, and said have a great visit, never once telling us that they were adding up these debts, and keeping them secret. They didnt tell us verbally, hand us a bill, or send so much as a scrap of mail.Then, 5 months after we stopped attending (and we dont think this is a coincidence, pretty sure they would have continued the same plan indefinitely), out of the blue appears a MASSIVE bill. Thousands of dollars.Imagine you stopped going somewhere because they are charging too much. Then imagine that as retribution for stopping, they sent you a bill for DOUBLE what youd already paid. Its painful and financially devastating. There goes the college fund.

Synergy had helped my son immensely. He has only been coming for a few months and he has improved both physically and emotionally. He has learned not to walk on his toes and is even using the potty now. Synergy has also taught me how to help my son when we are at home and also some things that help at school. Teaching me how to communicate better, have confidence in my child and even different ways to do homework!! I am very happy with his progress so far and even when we didnt have insurance my husband and I made sure he could keep coming to therapy as one of our top priorities. Ethan is much more confident and I can tell his self esteem is much higher than ever before.

I began therapy at the Synergy Group three weeks ago. After the first session, I was encouraged about my health. I had been living with knee pain for years. I thought I needed surgery. With therapy, I have learned my pain was based on other factors that can be fixed through stretching and muscle strengthening. I’m amazed at the difference already. Looking forward to additional sessions to find even greater success.

We have been going to Synergy for a little over a month now and we have seen such a dramatic difference in our child’s behavior. Doing daily grooming task (brushing teeth, combing hair, or cleaning their face) was a big struggle. Now we can do these task with much ease. We’ve also seen the amount of “tantrums” or meltdowns our child has decrease as we started attending therapy. I can tell her overall well-being is better since attending.They also have amazing staff that really listen to you and your situation. From our initial visit we felt heard and understood. They constantly check in to see how things are progressing at home not just during therapy.

I am beyond pleased with Synergy Therapeutic Group!! They are very knowledgeable. I fell and broke my wrist and had to have surgery on it. With help from Synergy, I have full function of my hand and wrist again. If I could give more stars I would!! I also had a boil form on my stomach and Faith has been using the laser on it and it is healing up without being lanced.

After of a number of years of struggling with numbness and pain in my feet, I found Synergy. Several years ago I was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT). I was referred for PT, given medications etc. The numbness and pain progressed and included footdrop.By accident I found Synergy and have seen the very professional staff there. I too am learning about the importance pf proper breathing, stretching etc. I feel much better and can sleep again after three weeks. I will continue with Synergy.

The owners are really nice people and seem to give good therapy; however, I am very disappointed with the billing practices and extra fees that seem more important to the rest of the staff.Watch your bills CLOSELY as they, several times, charged me for balances that my insurance has already paid!!The service, to me, is not worth the headache and annoyance involved with their fees and bills that show up over a year later, that were already paid.

After just a few sessions my pain decreased considerably. We worked for several months to maintain my low pain levels. I have done physical and occupational therapy elsewhere but the therapists at Synergy use techniques I had never experienced before, and because of that we achieved great results. I brought my 8 year old daughter in for anxiety, headaches, texture and sensory issues. It’s been less than a month and I have seen significant improvements in all areas! Quacks. Strong cult vibes. Did not receive the miracle cure I was promised. I was incapacitated by pain for over a week after my sessions here. The office staff had a bad attitude when I cancelled my future appointments, even though I was far in advance of the cancellation policy time limit.

After having attended my first session I was so excited and hopeful that I could hardly wait until my next visit. I was actually counting down the days. When you are use to living with pain every day, it is encouraging to know that you can finally get relief. Everything was explained so clearly that I could understand. The therapist were kind and friendly and yet professional. I am so thankful to find such a caring place.

I fell and dislocated my kneecap as well as tearing a tendon in my knee. The therapists at Synergy had me do stretches to bend and straighten my knee further and they had me do exercises which helped me get the strength and endurance back. Now I can go hunting, climb tree stands, and walk on the uneven ground through the woods which I wasn’t able to do after I fell. All the workers at Synergy were polite to work with and they stayed on time for every one of my appointments. I have recommended them to friends and family.

I went in a week ago with excruciating neck pain, today the pain is almost gone.

Use to get back pain, especially when I walk a lot. Over the weekend I was able to walk all of St.louis zoo with no back pain at all! Also carried my 1 year old around part of the zoo and it did not bother my shoulders or arms at all.....highly recommend synergy therapeutic group!

My son has been attending therapy at Synergy for a few weeks to help with issues he has with eating. Already, he appears less anxious when it comes to food and has even tried a new food without it being an ordeal! Im very excited to see what will happen in the coming weeks.

I came to synergy when I was looking for a PT because I saw all the good reviews. I had SI joint pain in my lower back. After the first appointment, my pain was significantly reduced. By the second, it was completely gone. I’m very happy with my choice. I can sit, stand, and exercise without any pain. 10/10 recommend.

I like this place because its very relaxing and comfortable. They focus on my root of my issues in my back and neck not the symptoms. Very deep in the body, soul and of course the spirit. Its different than physical therapy and massage therapy. I truly recommend any one to try them out there is no medications but natural healing in the body.

I came here with lower back pain. After a thorough review and explanation of the possible causes of my pain. I was treated with different kind of exercises and massages. I could feel the relief immediately. The best thing here is that you get to know what is the underlying condition that is causing the pain.

Do not recommend. Very odd billing practices that surely are illegal. We knew insurance would not cover any costs until our deductible was met. They gave me two prices, ~$100 per session without using insurance, and ~$110 per session using insurance to pay towards the deductible. We were 100% told $110 was the full price going to insurance… multiple times. We decided to pay $10 more and pay towards the insurance deductible. We went to therapy twice weekly for months and paid each visit. We were NEVER once sent a monthly bill, or told in the office that we were behind. They proceeded to wait OVER A YEAR (and a few months after we stopped going) to send us a bill for thousands of dollars.While they told us the full amount was $110 per session, they actually billed insurance double that (again- both parties fully understood that insurance wasn’t going to cover the charges) They told us one amount, then sent another to insurance, all the while never sending monthly statements. They also increase the amount 2-3 times and never told us, but continued to have us pay one amount, while sending another to insurance. AGAIN- we knew insurance wouldn’t pay- and were told repeatedly we were paying the full amount- and when the deductible was met the $110 per session would be reduced.How can you conduct a business that doesn’t send monthly statements, doesn’t tell you the full price of therapy, doesn’t tell you in the office your account is behind, doesn’t inform you of increases in service prices, and doesn’t send bills for over a year? There were SO many opportunities for them to inform us- but surprise they waited over a year.Avoid this business! Something very unethical is going on and you DO NOT want to be a part of it. I cannot tell how maddening, devastating, infuriating it is to be told you owe thousands out of the blue, when you were very clearly told the “full price” to be sent to insurance when you started therapy. Scam scam scam.We called multiple times and were given zero reasons why we were told one price was going to insurance when in reality more than double that amount was. They had no excuse for not sending monthly statements or informing us of price increases. They were also unwilling to adjust any amounts due to their dishonesty and unethical billing practices.

My Son 2 1/2 year old has speech delay and regressed in 2 months during COVID-19. He is doing much better within weeks (2-3 sessions with Mrs Dash). There is a continuous improvement in overall behavior, eye contact, gesture, verbal and non-verbal communication. I never though telehealth visits will work for him as he never liked us doing video calls. We are surprised to see him looking at Mrs. Dash during the very first Health session. We are very thankful for Synergy.

Thanks to the fabulous team at Synergy, I’m close to being pain-free. It has been a privilege to have their knowledge, professionalism, and experience on my side throughout the healing process. Furthermore, I came away with a plan to continue the progress I’ve made during my treatment.

After I dislocated my shoulder, I coulnt fall sleep until 3 am every night due to the pain. After one visit, I was able to sleep soundly without pain. The therapists work with you to establish a long term plan of care.

Shoulder issues from a partially torn rotator cuff have improved in both strength and mobility in the month I have been going through the program. Would recommend this treatment as an option to surgery.

I injured my leg while running over a month ago so much that all exercise came to a stop. I continued to think each day it would get better but it didnt and simple daily activities became uncomfortable. I finally broke down and visited my primary care physician who referred me to synergy. Today was my first visit and truly a miracle. After one day, unbelievable even to me, I walked out with no more pain. I have additional appointments scheduled to learn how I injured myself and exercises to do to strength these areas. I would highly recommend synergy as an alternate non-evasive form of therapy. Our son has been receiving therapy from Synergy for a few months and we love it. He has improved so much.

I came here for two reasons. One is my lower back injury which happened about three years ago and the other is a shoulder injury. I had been doing some exercises based on the advise of my previous doctor. But after I came here it was more convenient for me since they guided me properly. Exercises I did before I came here were little bit hard. So I was bit reluctant to do those. But exercises they did here were more simpler and productive.

My experience at Synergy has been very favorable. My therapist is very nice, and the treatments Ive received so far seem to be making my sore shoulder feel better.

I have sciatic pain on my right side as well as arthritis in both my knees. As I told the doctor after my first treatment. I never noted how much muscle soreness or tightness I had on my left side, that disappear after the first treatment. I also noted the easy of falling asleep during the night. I also noted a energy boost in my morning activity that has been lacking for a long time in getting myself going in the morning.

Have experienced vertigo for 4 months and have finally gotten relief. One treatment and was able to have a great nights sleep with no dizziness! Highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to therapy my entire life. I have never received therapy like this. Ive been through 2 surgeries - one brain and one lower spine. I started PT with Synergy to help my body get back to where it needs to be. I live with chronic headaches and chronic pain. The type of treatment that Ive been undergoing is myofascial release. Subrat is who Ive been mainly working with and I feel that Im yielding more and more results as I keep coming in. I feel very informed about how this type of treatment is beneficial for me and I would recommend it for anyone who deals with daily pain - Synergy has some one that will work for you.

I have struggled with chronic pain for many many years now and tried so many options for relief. After one week of physical therapy at Synergy therapeutic I can already see changes in my pain level and what activities I am able to do. And the therapy is pain free and relaxing! Have hope for the future for the first time in a long time.

I began therapy for sciatica and a shoulder issue on June 24. In the nine weeks since that time I have usually had three visits per week. However, there were times we were away so there were some breaks in the therapy. My shoulder has progressed so that when I swim and work out, I do not experience pain. I used to complain about a “gritty” feeling in the left shoulder. That does not occur now. I have been given a workout routine that I am practicing with the therapists so that I will perform them correctly. I expect I will be soon taking responsibility for maintaining the progress that I have made.I continue to work on the sciatica. Some days I am pain free or nearly so. If I experience pain, I use some of the exercises I have learned to reduce the pain and walk normally. I swim regularly and receive therapy about three times per week. The therapy helps me master the exercises that help me to walk and swim normally many days. If I experience discomfort, I have learned ways to reduce that. We are also working to improve my balance.I have enjoyed working with the Synergy therapists. They have helped me to learn the exercises so that I have improved. And they regularly critique what I am doing to help me tweak what I do and experience ease of walking, exercising and swimming.Douglas Bedient

I have never felt more helped and my mind and body are finally coming in tune. Words cannot describe it!

I was not able to bend over without pain. Now it is a lot less - little soreness but no pain.

A STORYAs we advance in age, most or many will find themselves challenged with arthritis, pain, bone and soft tissue issues. I have been in Carbondale for approximately one and 1/2 years. Since I have been here I have had a cataract taken off of my eye, my gall bladder removed and was scheduled to have a total knee replacement. I never had the surgery because I had what I call a mini heart attack and the P.A. and I felt that it would be best to postpone the surgery.I also began to feel awful. I was in constant pain from head to toe; was unable to ambulate.My hearing which had been slowly decreasing significantly began to decrease. My body seemed to be in a battle and was losing.This was devastating especially after being a ice survivor of cancer, blood clots in my lungs,systemic arthritis and just stuff.My days were spent in my recliner watching TV and/or reading. While reading I came upon an article inviting interested people to a seminar and learn how to address pain and other issues. I attended the seminar and signed up for treatment. After being there a a short time, I feel like a new person. I am NOT doing backward flips or anything but I am doing much better
