Is there any particular reason why the showers are extremely cold? Are you saying we have to workout at an opportune time in 95 degree weather and do absolutely nothing but run back home for a shower, even if it’s 20-30 minutes out of our way, because you cannot figure out your showers in 3 months. Give me a break. Going back to Gold’s gym, I get a better workout there any way. If you’re serious about working out, go to Gold’s Gym.

Good machines and plenty of them. The physical environment is pleasant and clean. I dont like the music. Its loud and unclear like its trying to play over the sound of the fans or something. That can be solved with headphones

I love this place...Very nice an helpful employees...Im not the greatest with the whole internet aspect of joining but they help me in every aspect...be it the equipment or tanning options they offer...I enjoy the aqua bed for my issues with things from head to toe an this let me set the range along with speed an pressure of the stimulation...the area is very relaxing an should you be like me I take meditation music playing on phone an Zen out...I just cant say enough...with all the TLC my body needs its done here...BUT THE WORKS ARE DEFINITELY SOMETHING IM EXCITED TO BEGIN SOON AS CLEARED BY DRS....HEALTH IS THE BEST THING YOU INVEST IN...LET IT BE YOURS...YOU WONT REGRET IT HERE...MUCH LOVE EVERYONE..HIGH VIBE SENT OUT✨

Awesome place to workout. This is the first fitness center that I’ve ever joined. When the pandemic hit, I couldn’t pay my monthly bill but I wanted to remain a part of Planet Fitness so I called the center and I was able to freeze my account until January of 2021. The representative I spoke with was very friendly and understanding and he helped me through this process. I wish I could remember his name. He was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail. I was able to keep my membership and I started working out again in January. Thank you so much Planet Fitness. You’ve made my first experience with a fitness center a memorable one. Thank you to the gentleman who helped me out months ago. 😊

Most comfortable gym atmosphere Ive ever experienced, and a much nicer facility than most other pfs!

I signed up for the tanning initially because SI Tan is very expensive. For $23 a month you have access to the gym, tanning, massages and red light therapy. What more can you ask for? The only thing missing is a swimming pool. The staff are excellent!!

Planet Fitness of Carbondale is an excellent place to workout. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the facility is clean and has great equipment. Best place in Carbondale to workout.

If you’re deciding between here and Golds Gym in Carbondale, I suggest choosing Planet Fitness. You can cancel your membership easily at Planet Fitness, and it’s so much more affordable. The Golds Gym here may make it difficult to cancel your membership even after your year is up, and they may continue charging you afterwards claiming they had a “mistake” on their end. Golds may gaslight you to make you feel like it was your fault, and you may have to contest it with your bank to stop being charged. Not worth the wasted energy.Never let a business, or person, bully or intimidate you. Use your own judgment to make decisions on who you give your business to. Speaking from my own experience.

The staff are always friendly, inviting as soon as you walk in the door and helpful. very clean gym/restrooms/locker rooms. I love the Hyro massage beds after my workout!

Friendly service and everything you need in a gym for $10 a month! Only problem is staff lets groups of high school kids take over areas without cleaning stuff occasionally but besides that everything is clean and perfect.

Fine planet fitness, Ive been to many and this one was excellent. I liked the spacious locker room and bathroom.

The staff is great. The hydro massage lounger and tanning beds make the Black Card more than worth it.

Planet fitness has a good community behind its name and even when I went there with a friend there was no trouble at all

Employees are always friendly, the price is fantastic, the gym is impeccably clean and employees are always doing extra cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment.

I only came to gain information about the new facility in the area. Marissa was very polite and pretty descriptive in her answers to my questions. She allowed me to ponder over the choices and information and waited on me without frustration. Ill be getting a membership soon, just wanted to let you guys know of the great staff so far.

4 months in and its the best gym experience Ive had. Would be nice to stay open 24/7 everyday since i cant get a weekend workout in due to my work schedule most weekends.

Gym is set up better than Marion planet fitness and showers and locker room are better. Still lacks free barbells and limited weight on dumbbells only to 75#

Dont love the bikes because theyre not great for road cycling training. The other equipment is sufficient. Its inexpensive and close so thats a win.

One of the best things that could happen to the carbondale area, Its a no judgement free zone, alot of good exercise equipment, if you wanna work out this is the spot to go to, friendly staff. They also do walk throughs for new members to check out all the amenities Planet Fitness has to offer.
