Dr Parker in Cape is well worth the wait for an appointment! How refreshing to appear for your first one & discover right off how much thought went into your first visit,! The waiting room is large but has a great deal of area designed for privacy. The short wait to be seen is nearly unheard of. Staff very friendly but also quite accommodating & considerate knowing our situation & often age restrictions. Its a rare visit that makes you feel valued & important as well. Dr. Parker was very good, effecient & explained things making sure your questions or concerns are answered. Im so HAPPY l chose Dr. Parker & his great practice!

Dr. Parker was awesome throughout the whole procedure. He kept me informed and explained everything that was happening. His staff is also super nice and helpful. When I walked out of his office after surgery I could already see so much better. Less than 24 hours later I had 20/20 vision! It is truly amazing to be able to see so great with no glasses. Within 3 weeks of me calling and setting up my consultation I had my Lasik Surgery. I am almost to my 1 week follow up and its amazing how well I can see. Katie was great with explaining the finances and what to expect. Lori was awesome in walking me through the different exams. During the procedure Dr Parker explained every step during the process. The only problem I am having is I am beating myself up for not doing the surgery years ago. Its a real blessing having your sight returned to you.

It was amazing to walk out of the procedure with the ability to already see signs across the street! Within the same day, I began seeing much more clear and precise! Visited the office in Marion IL for my pre lasik testing. All went well he says, pick a date on this sheet that works best for you. Being from St Louis I wanted to drive to the city for a second opinion. Thankfully I did! I am NOT a candidate for LASIK, I must get PRK. Testing was much more thorough in St Louis. I’m so glad I went to one of the top doctors AND it was cheaper!

LASIK surgery with Dr. Parker and his staff at Eye Care Specialists in Cape Girardeau, MO is the only Physicians office I would entrust my sight to. He is the BEST in his field and his staff are the most professional. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of through the whole process. I have worn glasses since I was 6 years old and right after surgery I was able to see just as if I had never needed glasses. Great experience all around even provided a nice suite for the over night stay

I was initially a little nervous having lasik never having had any type of medical procedure done before but the staff walked me through every step and addressed every hesitation and question. They are very knowledgeable and experienced, which greatly put my mind at ease. To those who feel as if lasik might not be an expense they can afford/justify I would encourage you to compare the cost of lasik to the yearly cost of contact lenses, glasses and eye care. For me, a quick run of the numbers showed that lasik was going to pay for itself when compared to what I had to spend in a years time on contacts. At the very least it never hurts to at least get a consultation and see what options you have. Freedom from contacts and being able to see clearly the second I open my eyes every morning has been worth every last penny!!
