Dr Mackie is friendly and cheerful and listened to my health history. She offered referrals for the physicians here to get checked out. She made me feel that she is genuinely concerned for my well-being and ensured that I would receive the care needed based on my medical history. I was relieved and happy to meet my new family physician!

Dr Mackie is professional but also very caring. I feel that I can talk to her about anything that concerns my health and she addresses those concerns seriously. She has been my doctor for years and I do not hesitate to refer her if the opportunity arises. Shes wonderful!

If 0 stars was an option I would use that. I waited weeks to be seen as a new patient. Only to be told the day of that I would need to reschedule due to paperwork. I was never sent paperwork or asked to come early. I am in severe discomfort and have been to urgent care and my GYN but no diagnosis. I explained the urgency around being seen, I was distraught when I arrived only to be told I would need to reschedule. The receptionist had zero empathy or compassion. They wanted me to wait another 2 weeks which I cannot fathom. I arrived 5 minutes early and the waiting room was full, they could have showed some compassion and allowed me to quickly fill it out. They didnt care. I teared up in the office, no compassion whatsoever. I have never dealt with anything like this but after reading review, it sounds like it worked out for the best. My advice is to stay away. Clearly not patient focused.

Dr. Mackie is an awesome doctor, who is a top notch physician, highly skilled and intelligent. She shows genuine concern for her patients. Dr Mackie is an excellent doctor! I had a spot on my lung that the pulmonologist was just going to watch with CT scans every six months. When following up with Dr Mackie she told me that if it was her she would want to have it biopsied. Upon having it biopsied I found out it was indeed, lung cancer. It was caught at a very early stage. Thanks, to Dr Mackie I am here today!She has addressed all my concerns and is thorough. My mother recently moved to the area and I recommended Dr Mackie to her. My Mother is very happy with her as well!

There would be zero stars but you have to put at least one to be heard. So let’s start with ZERO stars. My son has anxiety and had a break out seizure on a Monday. Asked for his Xanax prescription to be updated. Priority request. At that time I asked that the pharmacy info be updated as well as our address. Confirmed it was correct with assistant from office. Wrong prescription and pharmacy was contacted. Never was told by anyone that it was changed.

Always feel heard and made comfortable by Dr. Mackie. Highly recommend her.

I was recommended to you by a coworker who said great things. However, while trying to become an established patient I experienced the sense that I was inconveniencing your staff to get on your schedule. When I was able to finally get on your schedule , virtually, and the day comes for my virtual appointment, your staff calls me to tell me that because they did not receive my new patient paperwork in time they have to reschedule me. I scheduled this appointment 3-4 weeks ago, and received new patient paperwork 3 hours prior to my appointment because your staff forgot to send it to me. In the middle of work I did my best to get those forms back to you, and because it wasnt enough time for you to input my information I am now expected to wait another several weeks to get on your schedule. I would have appreciated your staff understanding the situation, being that they messed up and allowing the appointment to proceed. But as I said at the beginning it seems your staff lacks customer service.One star for effort!

I have been seeing dr mackie for years since she opened this practice. I followed her from when she was seeing patients in my hospital. She has always taken the time to really sit down and discuss medical issues and investigate fully when I have had any problems. I would highly recommend this dr and I know several medical professionals also follow with her. She’s a good and caring Doctor.

I was concerned that patients are required to wear face masks but staff was not and one had her nose exposed. I mentioned that if they weren’t going to wear one then I wasn’t. She said dr requires patients to wear one...🤔

Dr. Mackie is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and concerned about her clients. Her “bedside” manner is warm and professional. She has been my physician for 10 years and I would not go anywhere else. I trust her medical judgment. Her office works well with my insurance company and she is accommodating when it comes to my lab work and insurance requirements. I highly recommend her as a primary care physician.

Dr Mackie is amazing. I was a patient of hers when she worked for PCP and I stayed with them when she left out of a feeling of obligation. So glad to have made the decision to leave PCP (dont get me wrong they have some amazing Dr) and go back to her. Small staff so things can get hectic but I understand that completely.

Dr refuses to submit immunizations to Insurance stating they dont recoup their costs of the immunization. They have a contracted rate with the insurance company to provide immunizations yet dont think they are getting paid enough for their service.Would recommend against using this provider as she likes to have you repeat tests and office visits as a method to increase her fees and reimbursement from insurance.

I have been going to Dr. Mackie for 5 years. She is a warm, genuinely caring person. Im in my 50s, so Ive been to a lot of doctors and I know she is the real-deal. I get frustrated when I see less than 5 stars, or 4, because anyone wanting to consider going to this office will not get a fair impression of things. One of the reasons she was behind schedule recently was because of ME. I needed some extra attention and she could not have been sweeter. The staff are great - just over-worked in a job I could never do, dealing with the insurance nightmare and sick, cranky people. Lets face it, we all have bad days. Please give them all a break. They really are great people, and I would never go anywhere else!

My first interaction with Dr. Mackie and her office were very positive. She and her staff seemed caring and attentive. However, subsequent interactions with her office have been very disappointing. Appointments that have to be made months in advance have been cancelled by her office without prior warning. Once is a forgivable issue, but this has happened multiple times.Furthermore, when confronted with these issues, staff quickly becomes defensive and rude. I understand how difficult customer service can be, but the behavior of Dr. Mackies office needs to be set on a better course. Im giving them one more chance, and I hope to see a return to the caring office I found on my first visit.

Dr. Mackie is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and responsive, not to mention super smart and will take time to talk with you about all your concerns. Ive had good experiences with the staff - theyve never let me down. I see other reviews that express frustration about the staff, but I think they should give the office another chance.....they might have just hit them a bad day, and goodness knows we all have them.

This office takes forever to answer phone calls and the receptionist sometimes hangs up the phone. The doctor takes forever to sign paperwork and they aren’t willing to help you at all. Literally will never go here again.

After being her patient for several years, she was unable to work me into her schedule to see me for a medical problem, that I have had in the past. I feel she has done me an unjustice. I am very taken back by this, felt like bursting in to tears.

I went to her twice she was not and effective Doctor. I had kidney stones and had to find out on my own. I had a scan done and she never shared any results she just always said see you in 4 weeks..( I thought why).

Appointment was at 9:00 Doctor took a walk in so I needed too. get rescheduled because I got there at 9:03am. KEEP IN MIND NEVER ASKED ME WHY I HAD WAITED 2 WEEKS NOT FEELING WELL TO. Terrible Doctor, stuff is very unprofessional, they asked me for a 110 cash they wont give me a receipt, looks like a medical scam service, they dont care about the patient or is he or she happy with the service.
