I’ve lived all over the world, and in the right location in the U.S. our dental care is the best in the world. That is not the case at Cape Smiles Dentistry. I was billed $125 above the normal cleaning, for a “deep cleaning” for scaling. This made sense initially because pRior to COVID, I went religiously every 6 months but I have gone over a year between cleanings. When my “deep” cleaning lasted a fraction of the time of a typical cleaning, I was not feeling like I got a thorough cleaning. Later I realized that this dentist didn’t do the normal measurements that each of my prior dentist would do to determine if you need a deep cleaning or have any receding or other signs of Gingivitis. I’m looking for a new dentist.

I used to be terrified thinking about going to the Dentist. After my very first visit to Cape Smiles I am no longer fearful.Dr. Annie Diaz and Assistant Juan are not just the most competent team, but certainly the most compassionate that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.I have to extensive dental work done. Cape Smiles has all the current, updated equipment. They were well informed and treated me so kindly. I highly recommend this office and staff!

Dr. Diaz is amazing!! I have a tricky front tooth filling. Shes the only dentist Ive been to who is able to fix it to my liking! Superior methods, standards and materials 10/10. The staff is also very pleasant!!

Cape Smiles is a great place for your dentistry needs. Everyone is so kind from the front office staff and people like Anthony, to my wonderful hygienist Andrea, and great doctor Dr. Diaz, everyone is very knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. X-rays usually hurt my mouth because it’s small and I have a lot of bone under my tongue and in the roof of my mouth. Andrea put gauze in before the X-ray plate and it didn’t hurt at all! I’m almost 48 and that’s the first time someone cared about that or even noticed it!! I highly recommend this dental group! You won’t be sorry.

The last time I was there, I waited 30 minutes to get in for my appointment and it would have been longer if I hadnt complained. Today they forgot to write my appointment down. When I got there for my appointment, they had no idea why I was there. They DO NOT respect your time. I have to go back for another appointment and waste more of my time because THEY screwed up. If you value your time, find another dentist. This office sucks!!!

I had a deep cleaning appointment with Juan he is outstanding, very thorough,and professional, but also was done in a timely manner, which I really appreciate, because lets face it nobody wants to be in a dentist chair longer than they need to be lol

I always feel comfortable coming to Cape Smiles! Andrea is such a great hygienist, she is gentle and so nice. I always had a fear of the dentist before coming to Cape Smiles and now its a walk in the park.

I am new to the area and I was having horrible tooth pain. I scheduled an appointment online and they got me booked 2 days later. It was so quick and easy. The staff is very nice and they go over all charges before they do anything. It’s a very nice place.

I’m very disappointed with this office. I have been without a front tooth for several months. The time comes to get it fixed and they say they need to reschedule me due to issues at the lab. Mistakes happen so I rescheduled. Time comes to go back and 2 hours before my rescheduled appointment they call and tell me it’s not in again. No they want me to wait almost 3 weeks to reschedule. I have guest coming from out of town on the 8th and made plans around this so I would be done with it before they arrived. It’s only made worse by the fact that my wife came in to get her crown and it was wrong so she had to wait an unreasonably long time as well. Hopefully she will get hers next week. It’s just not right. I never leave reviews unless I really had a good experience but they sent this link to me at the wrong time.

Crooks! Stay away from this dentist. I registered with them as a new patient after moving to the area, had all the x-rays and check up done with them. Was told my teeth and gums were in beautiful condition. (I have been cleaning them twice a year for the last 20 years.)I booked in for a regular cleaning, only to be told that the doctor said I needed a thorough cleaning because my gums were infected!When did that happen! The doctor told me my teeth with healthy and beautiful when I saw her originally!They wanted to charge me $900 each for top and bottom cleaning of my mouth. Thats $1,800!They are a scamming dentistry. Stay well away from them. They should be ashamed of themselves for lying to people.

Dr. Diaz and her staff are the best. Staff member Denise has amazing chair side manner and is very patient and informative.

What a scam. My insurance pays for a cleaning. The first time I visited the place in January they coded the charges for procedures that my insurance wouldnt pay for. When I went back for an appointment today, I told them that all I wanted was a cleaning, and didnt want any procedure that my insurance wouldnt pay for. They refused to treat me. I can get my dental care elsewhere at a better price. Beware of this clinic. There are much better alternatives.

The worst dental office ever…. What I come for , pain in one teeth and cleaning… two months later have some problems… but they sale me for 8,000$ Lumenirs… after installing,same day fall off… then they ( not even dentist, assistant did the work) teeth was sitting wrong way like I need retainer… horrible work … now two months later, don’t have cleaning done , painful teeth is still in, and I’m 8,000$ short…I’m 71 years old man… I feel like I been abusedFrank Brittl

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Cape Smiles Dentistry several times now. The office is nicely decorated, clean and modern in appearance. The office staff, the technicians/hygienists and Dr. Diaz are all friendly and efficient. I had an emergency need and they were good enough to fit me in to their schedule, even though they were fully booked. I only spend about 2 1/2 months in Florida each winter, but they have treated me like a regular patient the few times I have been there. I’m not an eloquent writer, but I can’t say enough good about Cape Smiles Dentistry. I would happily recommend them to anyone who needs dental services.

I have had some pretty good dentists, but Annie Diaz is by far the most knowledgeable, and Professional Dentist that my wife and I have ever been to.The staff at Cape Smiles are always helpful and courteous. It sure is nice to know that we have a Dentistry here in Cape Coral that goes the extra step in explaining everything..

I was a new patient without dental insurance. I asked at the time a made the appointment what the charges would be for a routine check up including x-rays and cleaning. When I got to the office and they explained the charges they were four times what I was quoted on the phone. Needless to say I left without having them perform the work.

Very disappointed. Had a cleaning in May 2020 and made a return appointment in November 2020. That app was rescheduled by the dental office until the end of December. That appointment was rescheduled by the dental office until January. That appointment was rescheduled until February 2021 but the date was not convenient for me so I rescheduled for March 1, 2021. I arrive for my appointment and after some time in the chair the hygienist says I have to have X-rays first. I said I was not prepared financially to pay for X-rays and just had an appointment for a cleaning. She said that my last X-rays were in 2019 and they couldn’t do the cleaning without doing new X-rays. I declined and left. Had they said something at any of the times they rescheduled my appointments I would have been prepared. I am disappointed in the handling of my appointment and even though I will need to get X-rays at a different office I will hope that they handle their clients in a more professional manner.

This is a great Dentist to go to.The staff is so friendly. The dental assistants and Dentist really know what they are doing.I dont like going to the dentist but they made this very enjoyable and relaxing for me.Finally a dental place that actually cares about the patient .Wonderful place. My dental hygienist was kind and professional. I really liked that they showed me paperwork on the services the were performing and the cost to me after insurance before the performed the services. This was my first visit. A very friendly office staff. Dr Joseph was awesome. Very calming presence and gentle touch. I had two cavities filled without numbing and felt absolutely nothing except relaxed. Slightly higher priced than I thought it would be since I am self pay but the positive experience made paying more a bit easier to do.

I am visiting from Canada. A few days before Christmas, one of my molars broke apart. Cape Smiles Dentistry was so accommodating and Christmas Eve day I was in getting a temporary crown in and a few weeks later returned to get the permanent one put in. I cant say enough about these professionals! Great service from everyone. Highly recommend this place.

It’s also very clean and the front staff as well as the back staff are very kind! The dentist hygienist does a great job explaining everything she’s doing.
