I have had the worst experience with this office. First of all it was March 12th and I had placed a call into the office I got a young lady in the office and I asked her if she could refill medication for my mother because I was going to be out in the area Id be able to pick it up I live 45 minutes away from my mother. She said no problem 3 hours later I called back she said the doctor wants to see her first I said no problem. But she is almost out of medication so we really need to get this filled for her. She said she would send the doctor another note a couple hours later I checked the pharmacy nothing was there so I called her back she said the doctors not going to fill it you have to make the appointment I made it for Tuesday and I asked her to please make sure the doctor sends it today and give me a call before 5:00 to let me know. I got no medication I got no phone call the next day I called it was about quarter to 5:00 they shut the phones off I had to go to the pharmacy and ask them to make an emergency five pills so that I could give them to my mother I called back today because my mother and I have been exposed to covid and I asked the same young lady to cancel the appointment and to ask the doctor to send it to the West Bloomfield location she said its there and you can call them and have it transferred to Belleville because now my mother and I are in lockdown I have to go to Walgreens in Belleville to get it for her now the medication is at the wrong location she said shes too busy to do it its been a busy day and I said well I hope I get paid for this and she got irate with me I kept asking her why are you arguing with me dont argue with me and then I told her I will let the doctor know about this conversation and so heres me letting the doctor know about how terrible this young lady was to me today.very disappointed 😞!

Patient of Dr. Schaeffer for many years 15+, he cares about his patients, calls you himself to discuss results and listens. Not sure why people give bad reviews when they are not even established patients there. Office staff seems normal to me, never had any issues.

Dr. Scaheffer is great but office has such limited hours that getting proper care or communicating with someone is near impossible. They often dont answer and have the out of office message on during posted business hours. Dont count on them to place referrals and orders in the system like they claim they did. Get hard copy in your hands!

Says there taking new patients and wait 2 days before appointment to call and tell you there not taking patients. Very inconvenient!!!!!

Doctor is great but the office staff sucks. Trying to make an appointment for a checkup and the lady puts me on hold and starts talking to me about refills??

I called on a Monday Oct.29 to make an appointment because of light headed ness and shortness of breath, and 2 weeks prior I had chess pains. So I called on a Monday to make appointment and the receptionist told me to call back the following Monday to see if there were any openings! Now I’m not a Dr but the symptoms I have, I don’t think is a good idea to put off? smh
