Unprofessionalism at its finest! I went in for laser lipo with a Groupon, upon arrival I was told 4 would be a waste of money. I understood and wanted the services I paid for anyway. Clearly that wasn’t good enough because the technician then was far too aggressive in telling me how much of a waste of time it was to only do 4 treatments, mumbling “it’s a waste” the entire time that she placed the equipment on me. Then she sent in the director who basically did the same thing in a very aggressive “car salesman” and fully condescending tone. Then they sent in a THIRD person to continue harassing me about purchasing more treatments. I will find corporates number, there is no reason to treat anyone this way.

I just went to Lisa W at Light Rx Canton for my second IPL treatment on Saturday and she was awesome again! She took such care and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. And the best part, I already see some results! Lisa is honestly just the sweetest! Seriously, if you have been thinking about any non-invasive procedure to make yourself feel better go see her. She does a lot - even laser hair removal. And guys! Its not just for women! Thanks Lisa!

I have to start off by saying I could not imagine anyone not LOVING going there. Those ladies were beyond fantastic. With masks on these days it’s impossible to see people’s smile BUT the way they treated you, you could tell they were smiling. They greeted me immediately upon entering and never lost touch of why I was there. I was explained everything to in detail and they guided me the whole way. So excited to see my progress. I was referred by my friends and they too said not only was the staff awesome but their results were great also! Thanks Sanya and to all your staff.

I have been going to the Canton LightRx for approximately 6-7 sessions of laser hair removal for upper lip. This is probably one of the cheapest services they offer, and my expectations were not high. This has been my first experience of getting laser hair removal, and everything was great at first. There were 2 documented occasions of this location cancelling my appointments (in a row), and I understand being short staffed, but now Im wondering if the length in between those appointments had disrupted the progress and caused more pain/sensitivity as well as causing me to need another appointment. I never received resolution, just the receptionist at this location telling me she will make sure Im not cancelled on again, which is not logical because thats not up to her. Ill chalk that up to, Cant please everyone. At one time, I got a text saying my appointment time was some other time than what I had scheduled it for, and I brushed it off thinking it was possible I made the mistake; I could still make it to the appointment, so I called to confirm the text was correct because it conflicted with what I had documented, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today, 6/22/2021, I got a text reminding me of the appointment I made for tomorrow at 6pm, but the text says 5:30pm instead. This was my last bit of patience for this location, as I value my time and will not go anywhere where my time is not respected, even if I have a prepaid package/appointment. Theres no way I would have scheduled a time that conflicted with my work schedule, and it matches both of my other calendars too. Hmm. The only times Ive received a reminder text is when theyve changed my appointment without telling me. Now, after the second occurrence, it is clear to me that this location lacks in communication and/or training, maybe even basic consideration. Its common sense that people have work or prior obligations, and a 30 minute time difference is not a 5-10 minute traffic delay; time is money for everyone involved. I felt that my time has been disrespected by some of the workers at this location. If I would have known they needed me to reschedule, I would have... given a need to reschedule notice at the least.On the bright side, this laser has given me some results and reduced some hair growth, so I purchased a Groupon to get another area done. I cancelled my appointment at Canton that was supposed to be for tomorrow, obviously, and will be trying out the Novi location to give this company another chance. They keep their locations clean, and everyone has been so helpful and polite on the phone and in person. A couple of the technicians at the Canton location have been SOOOO welcoming and sweet, and I greatly appreciate that. My last thought this evening is perhaps the reason I have been looked over is because I have purchased a smaller service; maybe they think I dont have a lot of income and am not important as some of their clients who use other services... Id love some resolution.

Please do not go there to waste your time and money.I completed the 5 weeks services for my abdomen. Nothing happened. They will just keep offering you more services by telling you that you will see better results if you choose another option.In fact they promised me great results when I started.Wasted my money and my time for nothing

I have called last week 5/21 and was supposed to recieve a call from Pam the assistant manager. I called again on 5/28 and spoke with Pam and she said she was supposed to call back. I need a refund for all these charges. The owner Sonya is decietful and I want to contact the president because service is so horrible. The machines do not work and their are no results. Please do not waste your money at this place. I have wasted thousands of dollar and they try to sell you a new service. At this point I could have paid for lipo and actually had results. Do not go to this place!!

The managers and staff was very caring, compassionate and professional. They always went above and beyond to explain the procedures I inquired about, as well as, making sure I was satisfied with the services. I highly recommend this business.

I have to say that the girls are beyond friendly. they make sure to say your name and talk to you and really get to know you no matter how many visits youre on the books for. Would definitely go back highly recommend.

I initially purchased a ~$2000 front t-shirt treatment package from LightRX. Only received 5 of my 10 treatments (albeit in the East Lansing location) and saw almost no results during this time. I transferred my account to Canton after moving residential locations, and was told I should wait until the end of the summer to receive treatments if I was exposed to any sun (It was June at the time). I was not made aware of this issue when I purchased my package, and would have been more conscious of limiting sun exposure otherwise. After waiting several months until the end of the summer as recommended, I was called by corporate and told I was late on my payments. I relayed my frustrations about the ineffectiveness of the treatments up to that point and how it was not communicated to me beforehand that I would not be given any treatments during the summer. I asked for a temporary hold to be put on my account until I was able to speak to a manager about my concerns. The man on the phone told me that was fine. After not hearing anything, I showed up to resume treatments, several weeks later, and was told my account had been terminated due to late payments. Prior to this occasion. At this point in time I had already paid around 75% of the existing balance on my account. I was never given any warning that my account was going to be terminated. I asked to speak to a general manager and was given a corporate phone number. I followed up a total of three times and asked whoever I was speaking to, to relay my issue to the regional manager (who was unavailable each time I called). None of my calls/messages were ever returned and I never ended up receiving the rest of my treatments. I was never asking for a refund, just to continue the treatments I originally invested in. I realize I am responsible for the late payments, but the fact that all my attempts speak to corporate were ignored and I was never warned of my account being closed was unbelievably frustrating and speaks to poor communication.

The entire staff⚕️ is very nice and great communicators. A great experience every time and Light Rx really cares about their customers.JAMILA WOODARD

I give it no stars I had a consultation with someone over the phone and they approved me for a loan and I was supposed to go in the next day to fill out some more paperwork to get started on the program and then I had changed my mind that same day that I didnt want to go through with the program within three days the loan they said I was approved for theyre already calling me for payments and I didnt sign any type of documentation or any paperwork or get any procedures done for that matter didnt even step foot in their clinic and theyve been bugging me for payments and Im trying to figure out how to get it from off of my credit

I did see some results but unsure if the price I paid was worth the results I did get.It is very expensive and works very very slowly.The people at the Canton, Mi office were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable, I do not think there is a better staff.

Purchased a Groupon for four laser light lipo treatments. They redeemed my coupon over the phone before going to the first appointment. Upon arrival they tried selling me more products saying the four won’t do anything (in the description on their Groupon page it said people saw results right away but could take six to eight treatments to work). The lady at the front desk said everyone needs twenty at least to see results, so the four I purchased was just for the experience. Tried to get my money back but since they redeemed my coupon over the phone They said nothing they could do. I didn’t get any services at all. Needless to say it’s a scam. Don’t go there. Got my money back through Groupon thankfully.

Absolutely love this place. Sonya is so organized and respectful she always makes you feel good! Pam is so chatty and I love it, she’s very efficient and makes you feel just as welcomed. Hannah (sorry if thats wrong) is so bubbly and always strikes up a conversation! I was having trouble with my bliss and she kept me laughing and comfortable it really helped me get through it! Norma and Nala are very sweet and respectful as well and everyone always keeps me comfortable! I just met Lisa today as I write this and she is just as sweet and made sure I was very comfortable and it was so easy to talk to her. Everyone here is very respectful and welcoming it almost feels like you’re one of the girls :) I definitely recommend this place the company is 11/10 and the prices are very reasonable! Lightrx gets 5 stars from me.

The customer service here is some of the best I have experienced in a very long time. Sanya who runs this location is truly great at her job. I had a little issue after my first appointment and I reached out to her and she went above and beyond to remedy the situation. She was truly interested in making sure I had the best experience possible and that’s the exact thing I look for when spending my money. Oh and Pam, my technician, what an angel. I’m a tough chick, I thought 🙄, but something about that laser on my sensitive nooks and crannies makes me turn into a jumpy little jellybean. She talks me through it in her calm voice and we laugh together and it’s honestly so comfortable because that’s the amazing environment she creates. And she is so dang thorough which is MAJOR when it comes to hair removal. I’m happy to be spending my hard earned money at this establishment. These girls will absolutely take care of you. ❤️

This place are very bad and there Machines don’t work I paid $1300 other and in Groupon I paid $200 because they made me add more sessions to get more money from me and it did not work at the end when I ask for a refined they said that you’re not doing it right. They made me pay full amount before the Session without see the ending results.

The staff are amazing, however, the product did NOT work, I wasted over $1000 dollars for no results! I would NOT recommend this treatment to anyone!

Its pretty rare to see any results even after one treatment but I did and its only getting better :D The staff is super friendly and caring, always listening to me, explaining every step theyre doing and if I ever had questions theyre always consistent with the treatments and being sure to look out for the health of my skin even post treatment. Also the front desk staff is super friendly especially Sanya! I would recommend this location, laser hair removal and Skin rejuvenation from first hand experience. I hate to post this because the lady was so nice. I had the laser treatment and believe that I was sold. During my consolation I had lots of questions and she answered them. But what she didn’t tell me until after my procedure was done is that it was something that you had to do twice a week. I felt very betrayed. But I guess you live and you learn. Very nice staff but don’t tell you everything until it’s done.

My first contact with light RX in Canton was through email, they contacted me back a day later about the procedure I was interested in, so I decided to go in for my consultation for IPL laser treatment! If my memory serves me right her name was Michelle and she was extremely helpful in anyway answering all my questions. The Day of my procedure I was really nervous but as soon as I walked in the door they made me feel very comfortable and I now look forward to my next visit.

I found The Light-- LightRX!After searching, researching, and second-guessing I am so happy with my decision. Ive tried laser in the past and sadly it didnt work. This works! I also love love love the skin treatments for my face--Ah-mazing! Thank you to the staff! They are wonderful!

UPDATE: Almost 2 weeks ago they replied that someone would get in touch with me (see their reply below) and Ive yet to hear anything.The facility is very nice and the staff is GREAT! I had the Laser Lipo and the Legacy Skin Tightening on my abdomen, inner thighs and arms. After 10 weeks of treatments, lots of $$$$ and following the instructions (drink lots of water and exercise a few days a week) above and beyond I unfortunately had no results.When I went in for my final measurements and pictures they said they saw some differences in the pictures (but not the measurements) but if there were, they were very subtle and could be a difference in the way I was standing or the lighting. My weight and the measurements I took didnt change at all. The manager who I originally worked with was out on maternity leave (shes awesome) and the fill in manager was out sick. I was told the manager would call me when she returned to discuss options but once I made it clear I had no more money to spend on treatments, the attitude changed and I never received a call.As I said, the staff is great and the whole process was fine but I got no results at all. Very disappointed.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and full of heart. They listened to me and I felt as if my problems were theirs and they were determined to help me. I signed up for laser hair removal and had been turned away from other places because of my dark red hair having a red tint they assured me that the dark colour of the hair would work fine with their laser I am very excited to get started.

The area is nice. Parking is great. The people are super nice. The place is clean. The Lipo works great!! It took some time for me to notice but some see the results sooner. I guess it depends on how stubborn the fat is. Lol. Im happy!!!

The stuff was kind but I was asking for my inner part of my tights and they didn’t know that until I was doing the last laser lipo . I felt kinda bad because I mentioned it in the beginning and also I had to finish two more and never got a call back about finishing them . Anyway thank you !

The woman are AMAZING, they have not only done amazing procedures helping me to never have to shave again and helping get rid of old acne scars that have hurt my self esteem since my teen years but they have become friends. There had been one time I had an issue with a service but Sonya the gal in charge at that location did everything she could to make the issue right and make sure I was happy. They offer financing which is great, and treat you with respect and really want you to look and feel your best!

Was truly upset with my results especially that there is another company in my area that charges 5xs less than light rx with 60 day treatment. Was even more flustered that my daughter was also talked into signing up and she paid 10xs more than I did. We need some type of justification.Update 2/25/2020. The head office sent me a message stating they were going to have someone reach out to me. I waited and finally the person that reached out to me was the person that signed me up in the Canton, MI location. Sonya.. I was very dissatisfied as nothing was done to solve the problem, all she did was mentioned that I didnt bring it up to her when each time I went in for treatment at 6pm she was not in so I made sure to let the techs no I wasnt seeing any results and per them they suggested I wait til after all my treatments to see if it worked. I paid $2500 for venus legacy and laser lipo , worked out daily, uped my water intake and didnt eat any junk food as instructed.For the money I paid if they had offered more treatments to get the results she promised, I would have been satisfied that at least they cared enough to try.

Im getting the Ilipo, legacy and hair removal here and just love the girls at this location. Theyre sweet, genuine and are willing to work with your budget. The treatments are working and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have these treatments done.

The staff was extremely nice but that’s about it. I just needed a little contouring on my stomach and the procedures they recommended was a waste of money and time. I didn’t see any positive results after spending almost $2,000 and going back and forth for two months. Save your money because their services are not worth it.

On the positive, staff is very nice & will work with your budget. Negative, if you change your mind after you sign up, your stuck so make sure its something you want to do. I also didnt get the results I wanted & I did my treatment twice. The finance company they use charges $59 if you dont do automatic withdrawal.

Light Rx works! I did both the laser lipo on my stomach and the skin tightening on my neck and face. I no longer look like I am three months pregnant and I have a jaw line again! I was skeptical that the treatments would work but started noticing a difference about half way through my treatments. I knew it was working when somebody asked me if I was losing weight, that my face looked thinner :) The staff is so friendly and genuinely care about their clients and the success of the treatments.

I would not recommend going here. I met with Sanya for a consultation and she was extremely pushy. I had a bad vibe about this place, went home and read about how the company is going through bankruptcy. Something definitely seems off and I will not be doing business with Light Rx.

The service here is wonderful Sonya and Michelle are two of the kindest women Ive met in a very long time. Since my first visit Ive lost 12 lbs and over 2.5 inches in each area treated. BEWARE! This company is fraud!! They submitted credit application on behalf of my wife without her authorization or signature. They typed false income, date of employment, and work phone number in the application to submit it. When we confronted Sanya, the Canton Clinic Director about it, she threatened us that her husband is a FBI agent.

Absolutely love this place overreacted cuz I thought it would hurt to laser my facial hair and it didn’t they are very nice here and gentle and they take their time and don’t rush they make sure they get the job done !!

Today was my first session....it felt like a deep hot tissue massage with suction....no down time wasnt in any pain afterwards. Very pleasant and clean in the facility and the staff was nice..

If you can appreciate false promises & bait and switch tendencies, this may be the place for you. My sister and I signed up for full body laser hair removal after a consultation where we were assured that we’d be leaving Lightrx hairless! “We had the perfect pigmentation and hair color for the very best results they could offer.” A WHOLE LOT OF PROMISES IN THAT CONSULTATION. We were skeptical on why there’d need to be a limit placed on the amount of times we could come back for laser treatments if they were so certain we’d love our results. Cue the manager telling us that if it would make us feel more comfortable, she would guarantee unlimited services until we were completely satisfied. Please note that we were ready to pack up and leave our laser dreams behind up to this point, and she knew that. The manager quickly signed her name at the bottom of the contact with a note indicating free unlimited. We thought of course this must be legit if they believe in it so much to offer us unlimited packages... So we signed up and started our treatments. They went fine. Super blotchy and very uncomfortable, but hair was being removed! We were happy. We started out in West Bloomfield which closed down, Livonia closed down & we ended up at Canton. Yikes. We were informed recently that our packages were coming to an end and that we’d have to start paying for continued services.... We brought up our contacts, the discussions and signature from the manager who assured us unlimited procedures until fully satisfied - which was written in shorthand. I just got off the phone with a manager who in telling me how incredibly happy we should feel for the price that we snagged for our full body treatments, repeatedly called me “sweetie” and decided to take the time to inform me on how contacts work. I don’t appreciate the condescending undertones and the false upfront promises from Lightrx. I am dissatisfied with the results that I received at Lightrx as they were not satisfactory with what was offered to us. Customer service only goes so far if you’re only jumping through hoops to get customers to purchase packages and enter into contracts but don’t actually have plans to live up to agreements. I would recommend more training for managers/sales people so that other customers don’t leave your company feeling as swindled as I do. I would not recommend Lightrx.

The staff are friendly and work with you to get your desired results. I had the I-lipo treatments and SculpSure procedure. I got excellent results. I lost 10lbs and several inches around my waist. I recommend these procedures if you want results but you do have to do your part as well.

At first I was a little worried because I had done something similar that didnt work. My belly has always been a problem for me. The Assistant manager and I sat down and looked at before and after pics and talked awhile. After looking at the equipment and pics I did do the Venus Legacy and light Lipo and Im happy I did. We took before and after measurement and pics she even took my after pic few sessions early because I wasnt feeling a different. After we put the two side by side WOW ! I went down two inch on top part of my belly one in the middle and three at the bottom I also enjoy going in to do the treatment the worker are nice and we laugh and they make you feel welcome

Once i pay off what I had done I will go back an do more...Yes if u want sruff done I would tell u to go there...I started May 2017 and i looked fat/flabby in my stomach..... I believe i started off at @179 lbs, but now Im @148/150 lbs. My stomach is slimmer and i look much better....I feel sexier, also fit into jeans better.... I look nicer in my clothes.....I just love the girls there, they are all very helpful and such sweet people.... They go up and over to make you feel happy with the results....So thank you to all the girls for helping me and still helping me....Thank u guys for ur help

After finding out about the services that LightRX Canton provided, I scheduled a consultation. I was so glad I did! The Staff members are wonderful, very knowledgable and friendly. I was very satisfied with my treatments and loved the results I received!! I would definitely recommend LightRX Canton!

Always wanted to get laser hair removal but never could afford it until I reached out to the Canton lightRx. The manager Michele and staff gave me a breakdown of everything and helped me find the best package for my money. Now that I have been getting treatments I could be more happy with my results so far. I have to admit initially, I was very skeptical yet hopeful. I didn’t begin to really notice results until after my 3rd or 4th treatment. When I put on a pair of jeans and realized I didn’t have to shimmy my hips into the jeans or suck in my stomach, I was ecstatic!!! That was all I needed to sign up for another round of treatment. My results (lost 6.5 inches in two months) have been amazing and they have the pics to prove it. If you’re on the fence, jump off and don’t think twice about it! You won’t be disappointed!!I still have more to lose but the gym is going to take care of that! This alone is NOT the answer to extreme weight loss but it definitely gives you a great boost! During my treatments I didn’t go overboard with exercise. I continued strength training 2-3 days a week for 30 mins but I didn’t do any cardio! Ive been trying to lose my belly fat and found out theres Light Rx in Canton (nice and convenient location), and went for consultation to see what they offer. I met with Sanya the clinical director, shes very knowledgeable and professional, I was extremely impressed with her thorough details about the procedures that are available. She had made suggestions to meet my goal. I had the Venus done for my face and I-Lipo for my belly fat, but the results arent as fast as I expected but I am pleased with the results and how accommodating the staff are, ( it works Im just being impatient) I decided and went for the sculpture and IPL photo facial. The whole staff is amazing, the services provided to me by the staff; Sanya, Nahla and Michelle is excellent. They are very professional and efficient in what they do, they want you sincerely to be happy with your results, they work around your schedule. I was skeptical at first and nervous but Light Rx is the way to go, it is non-invasive, theres no down time and you get immediate results. If you want a non-surgery approach to help with your stubborn spots (belly fat), I highly recommend LightRx based on my experience and purchase in packages, give I-Lipo and Venus package a try, the prices are reasonable.

Did Aviva treatments , almost spent $1300-$1400 but haven’t seen any results when it was promised that it would be 100 percent effective . When I mentioned during my last visit, staff try to sell me another treatment for same amount.Staff is friendly but treatment is not worth it at all.
