Dr Swisher has treated me and my significant other with compassion and kindness. He seems to do his best to go the extra mile.

Doctor swisher is a amazing doctor, who just has terrible staff. The receptionist have been rude with me almost everytime I have spoken with them. Then never told me they switch there insurances they offer then freaked out on me for trying to make an appointment when I simply did not know. They refused to see me for a year because i was in a car accidentand now they switched who they except again but now my mother was not able to go there. But they never told her even after she schedule an appointment with them and drove 30 min to get her heart medication renewed and they were just like oppsy. Now my mother, who is in heart failure, has no doctor or medicine because of there negligence. Completely unexeptable , and will never go back and its a shame cause like I said dr.swisher is a great doctor.

I would never make an appointment here as you cannot get past the rude and hateful receptionist. Now Im glad I read the rest of the reviews. Dont waste your time, find a different provider. If Google would allow zero stars thats what I would give them! Rating them a one star is too much!!

Always a 5 star visit.Dr Swisher is Thorough thoughtful and kind. The Staff is always helpful and in happy spirits. Always feel welcomed and leave knowing our needs were met. My husband and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a good place for your medical needs.

Staff has consistently been rude and short, talking down to me and my family like we are unintelligent. Ive never seen the doctor, and usually the PA Ive seen walks in, tells me whats wrong and leaves with whatever pill they prescribe. They dont listen, and I have never really felt like a patient or a person, mostly just an annoyance. Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling.

My mom was a patient of Dr. Swisher for years. He was always very kind and very professional. And because of that, Now I am a patient of Dr. Swisher. I absolutely love him! He respects my natural, homeopathic approach to healing and always listens to me and genuinely cares. He is wonderful!

Ive literally never waited more than 5 minutes and they are so good. Normally, you would think with no wait they rush through the appointments to do so but thats not the case. They just properly schedule! They make things really easy and with persisting issues they are thorough in finding the proper diagnoses!

Dr. Swisher has never been anything other than professional and concerned about me. I get an appointment quickly and don’t have to wait long in the office. I have had good experiences with his nurse practitioners too.

The lowest I can give him is 1 star or I would give him less. His staff is absolutely horrible. He seems to be a nice person himself, but he is not in control of his office personal. Sorry Dr. Swisher you are a great guy but your staff over step their authority and try to give advise that probably they shouldnt, and are beyond rude. So you really get a big fat 0. It seems to be the trend here. I wish you well, but I will never step foot in your office again. Take some business advice fire the ones that have no people skills and your practice will thrive. This 5 star review goes directly to Dr. Swisher and his efficiency. Our wait time is never very long and he is a great doctor. Very kind and knowledgeable. However, so far, at all of our appointments, his medical assistants have entered numerical values like height, weight and head circumference incorrectly into the chart and he has to take time to check and correct. He is wonderful but he could use a better support system.

Myself, kids and parents all go here. Usually can get in same day and never any wait in the waiting room. Very fast and efficient, no complaints. Dr. Swisher is a very kind doctor, knowledgeable and a great listener. When I was going through cancer treatment and test results from specialists were freaking me out he reviewed everything with me and took the time to put my mind at ease. It meant the world. Patient for life! Thanks Doc!

Doctor Swisher is kind, considerate and very patient (despite some of his medical staff entering data incorrectly and his front desk staff being fairly rude). Doctor Swisher genuinely cares about his patients and always aims to give the best advise, whether medical or at-home treatment related, and empowers his patients to understand everything before they make a final decision on their health. My kids love him, and I have to say I do too! Thanks, Doc, for being so awesome!

I see Julie which is a sweet heart and extremely personable and did everything to resolve what other doctors couldnt. She was amazing. However I just had a recent poor experience attempting to get my prescription refilled that should have been a simple task. The pharmacy was unable to contact the doctor via fax or phone number. I ended up reaching out to the doctors office and the woman that answered the phone was curt saying We do not refill prescriptions for pharmacies, only for patients and all local pharmacies know this. I explained to her that the office has been ignoring the pharmacy via fax and phone for over a week and she cut me off saying well we dont do that. I ended up doing the refill over that phone call and she said she wont send it over til after 5pm (2 hrs later not sure why). This left a sour taste in my mouth about their practices. So you are going to let someones prescription run out and not care about their health and DELIBERATELY ignore a pharmacy???? I dont understand this concept at all. Not one bit. This is making me think of changing doctors. At least advice patients of your policies vs ignoring your patients needs for who knows whose gains. I am absolutely apalled by this behavior

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I’ve always had good experiences with them. They can get you in within the week, I’m never waiting long in the office, and Dr. Swisher and Krista are both very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve hated going to see doctors in the past but I’m always comfortable here.

I have been a patient since Doctor began practice. Staff works with me and I work with them. Doctor reminds me of Will Rogers, friendly,concerned and honest. If your a person easily offended by what anyone says to you leave off giving negative remarks. I found a good man . I am sticking with him. Aged fellow.

My husband recently had an injury playing basketball. Most likely a torn acl (he’s had two others). They didn’t even lift his pant leg up to examine his knee. Without examination they ordered him an X-ray which makes zero sense. When my husband called back to ask them why they would make that recommendation the woman on the phone told him if he didn’t like the recommendation then they will discharge him from the office so he will never have to come back. I’m curious as to how they can get away with throwing pain pills at him and sending him to get an X-ray without even looking at his knee. Anyone who has had an acl/mcl tear would know you need an MRI. It’s clear that they are just about $$$.Every time I visit I somehow get prescribed to depression/anxiety meds even though I’m not depressed.Also, when I checked in the last time I could hear the lady on the phone telling a patient that they tested positive for herpes. Loud as can be. Reeeeal professional.I will no longer have this practice as my primary.

Was a patient for 5yrs until recently I received poor treatment, neglect,and poor bedside manners. Went in for a sore throat complaint,the nurse practitioner told me I should let it pass without even taking a temp,or even checking my throat once, just asked me a few questions and was typing on computer then left. I went and got a second opinion on this since Ive had a sore throat issue for over a month,after going to another Dr. It turns out I had a severe sinus infection,wow ,is all I thought,what if I let this pass for too long then what?. Previous visits were also questionable, in entire time as a patient there only actually saw the Dr Swisher one time, he was nice, but the care I received at this practice as a whole was very unsatisfactory. Wont ever be coming back again thats for sure,sad!!!

I have never met Dr. Swisher, but I have heard he is a very good doctor. I have been going there for awhile and used to see Melissa. The me NP Linda was who I just met and saw recently. I am sad to say, due to what was one of the rudest and unprofessional visits Ive had with any nurse or doctor anywhere, I will never go back. I have to find a new doctor! PLEASE give her a training class on manners, compassion and empathy! I have never left an office so upset in my life!!!

Tammy was a terrible nurse; will not return because of her attitude. Dr. Swisher was going to stop the medication Ive been on for 3 years due to a balance being on my account. Mind you, I send monthly payments in as Ive been doing for the last several years. Recently theyve changed their policy and now money takes precedent over medical necessities. Doctors have an oath to uphold and unfortunately this practice, especially Dr. Swisher has failed to uphold the ethical standards of caring for his patients. I nor my husband will return.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. There is only 1 person in the office outside of the doctor that even knows what they are doing or is even nice. I missed an appointment because a family member of mine found a tumor on his brain. They said since I didnt call to cancel Im not allowed to come back. Terrible people

A lot of these reviews are not valid at all. When any doctor no longer takes your insurance it is out of their control. They cannot provide referrals when there are 50 other patients calling about the same thing. This is why insurance companies have a website where you can search for providers. Ive been a patient for almost 10 years and Ive seen some rude staff but I think they are mostly weeded out now.

For the first 6 months Dr. Swisher was a pretty decent office to go to. I really liked Dr. Swisher and how he heard and addressed my health assessments.We were still working on a right dosage of medication for my symptoms before his office dropped me and my insurance 3 days before my next scheduled appointment... When I called back to figure out what happened the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional and made me feel very uneasy and let down. Kind of like a stuck up break up, if you will, except towards my physical health! Not a very professional approach to dropping patients all of a sudden and put of the blue.I was told it was out of there hands and given not even 1 reference. Very unapologetic and more of a just get out, leave us alone, attitude. Like I said I really liked Dr. Swisher but his office staff were completely ungenuine and cold.

After my physician retired I needed a family physician. My sister recommended Dr Swisher. He appeared friendly and professional when I seen him. Typically you could get quick appointments and did not have to wait long. His previous male nurse practioner was cold. Every time i went in it appeared I owed money. They said they would bill me but typically did not or real late. I began to have issues with my blood pressure. I saw the nurse oractioner Krista. I explained I am a bad patient hate pills and somewhat stubborn and forget to take pills. She laughed with me, worked with me and was very caring and understandingAfter 6 months of being on the medication I began to experience extreme dizziness. I had an appointment with Dr Swisher because krista was booked. He said there was a build up and would change my meds and take at night instead of morning. The dizziness is was so bad I thought I was going to pass out and was scared of driving etc. I picked up the meds to start the next evening. In bold yellow caution on the bottle it stated may cause dizziness and don’t operate any machinery etc. I called immediately and asked why he prescribed this. A nurse called me the next day. She was rude and snarky. She explained that it is a side effect and has to be listed. I told her I understood that but please understand that is why I came to the doctor to begin with was for dizziness. She told me I needed to trust my doctor. I said ok and will take the meds. This was on 05.09.18. I received a notice for a certified letter on 05.1518. I picked it up on 05.16.18 to be informed that Dr Swisher will no longer provide services for me. The letter was dated 05.09.18. I called the office baffled. They took told me the can’t give me a reason. I told them I deserve a reason. She then stated well he will stop services if someone does not follow orders or gives him a hard time. Thank had a follow up appointment on 05.29.18 and they informed me that they cancelled it. I asked if I could see the nurse practitioner Krista and they said no cause she works for him. I only have a 30 day supply of pills and it has been two weeks. Thank have to find a physician in two weeks to get meds. I never spoke with him. No answer as to why but if it that I questioned the medication and side effects because I was nervous to take it this is just tragic. I thought we were done be with the days when drs thought they were God and knew everything. I am so upset and now may control me to have blood pressure problems with no meds. What happened to their oath? This is probably a good thing since I don’t want a Dr who cannot face conflict or be honest to tell me a reason really? Easy to get appointments - sometimes even same-day, staff are mostly wonderful. Usually very short wait times. Dr Swisher seems hurried sometimes and defaults to referrals, but is a pretty flexible doctor.

I was seeing the nurse practitioner, Krista, and she was GREAT and was helping me. Dr. Swisher, on the other hand, is very rude and violates HIPAA alllllll the time! Dont go here!!!!!

I am editing my review of Dr Swishers office. This is a mixed review! I had an issue with my insurance and did not agree with how they handled it. My insurance was no longer taken by them and they dropped me the day before a scheduled appt. No help for med refills, that I had been on for years with very serious side effects and were very rude about it... I had to have my Hemotology Dr call them and help me get a one month refill on at least some of them, others no luck, had to go through terrible side effects and withdrawals... I offered to become a cash paying patient to still come and be treated, they refused.I will say that they did fight the insurance company so that they could take us back as patients (Buckeye insurance). And when they got Buckeye back they took me back as a patient and are now treating me again for my multiple health issues. I love Dr Swisher and the nurse practitioner I deal with. The other nurse practitioner and alot of the staff are very abrupt and can be very rude but I deal with it so I can get help for my medical problems.I work two jobs and have quite alot happening and my nurse practitioner is helping me with quite a few serious problems right now and I am so very grateful for all of her help so I will bump them from a 1 to a 3. There is room for improvement. Some of the office girls should maybe have some training in customer service or maybe learn some compassion on dealing with sick or even sometimes dying patients that come through their doors. You dont have to be rude to get your point across, Thank you and have a good day!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! Let me explain so its easier to explain, Ive been having issues with losing weight, and having no appetite . Ive had blood work, and my thyroid tested at my previous doctors. I also have a sinus infection(I normally get one every year) Which I could no longer see my old doctor, so I made a apt here and came in and seen the female doctor. She was Beyond rude!! She pretty much told me that there was absolutely nothing that she could do for my weight lost, and appetite. Which Ive looked into myself and there is things that is possible to help, and when I asked to go over the options she got angry, threw her note book down and walked out of the room leaving the door open, I sat for about 15 minutes (crying because I know something isnt right, and idk what else Im supposed to do.. I thought going to a DOCTOR would help, because thats what DOCTORS DO RIGHT???) I left work early that day, didnt receive a doctors note for my job, and she didnt even give me any anabiotics for my sinus infection.

I have been a patient of Doc for 10 years. I have R.S.D.S. since 2008. He was knowledgeable of syndrome. This knowledge is help to me because many doctors do not even know about R.S.D.S. Doc is a family man, involved in community and bedside manner is top drawer. I love his staff members like Julie and Jewels to name a few. I do not understand low star scores and comments by others. Old phrase customer is always right has merit. Some customers may not be right for Docs practice and it is easy to hide behind internet. Doc and his staff always have ears open to work out any challenge. Docs practice is not McMedicine. I would recommend him to anyone.

For years Ive complain of aches, back pain.in every joint.never nothing told me arthritis or pains in my head he said the last two times I went in I was diagnosed with 2 chronic pain diseases...he could come out and tell me sent a nurse practioner I never met and she had no idea why I was there me neither cuz they called me in...sent me for altrasound and x-ray after 3 tries in the x-ray order they might if filled paper work right I check tommow. Dr Swisher is a very kind and compassionate doctor. The staff is relatively new, but its a growing practice, and never more than 10 minutes wait time.

The Dr is great but his staff totally messes everything up. Do not trust them!

This office is honestly terrible. The reception staff and nurse practitioners are all incredibly rude. They never right my prescriptions right so I took to reminding them what they are when I call them in. This prompts them to be even ruder for treating them like a child but they still can’t give me the right prescription so maybe I need to go get some bibs and step it up a notch. Do not go to this office if you have literally any other choice.

Dr Swisher is a great doctor but everybody around him are rude from the lady at the desk to the nurse practitioners​. I wont set up another appointment without talking to him directly

Dr. Swisher and Krista are great, but staff is horrible.

They have me see a nurse practitioner instead of the doctor, the nurse practitioner is very rude, he rushes through the visit, he never listens to what I have to say, he accused me of not taking my meds, I dont see how this place stays in business.
