They trained my 1 year old German Shepherd with so much attention and affection! The progress he’s made is mind blowing. We love the Canine Ranch. Our trainers were Alicia and Amber. Highly recommend 🙌🏽🙌🏽

There is nowhere my dog loves more than The Canine Ranch! We just do lure coursing happy hour so far but plan to rent the dock and agility course when the weather improves. Facilities are fabulous and clean, employees are helpful and courteous, we love it.

We have called 4 times and drove to the canine ranch to schedule board and train for our dogs with ZERO calls back! After driving 30 mins to this location to see what the issues is we discovered that they really don’t care. I understand they may have high turn over and be short staffed but at least call and tell me that! It’s very unprofessional to not return a phone call. Even the owner didn’t care to call us back.

Excellent training offered here, but I go for the dock rentals. Great pool that is normally heated when cold

My dog Flint and I just finished our first session of basic obedience with Annette at the Canine Ranch and we had a great time! Awesome facility and trainer and quick and professional communication. I have been taking my puppy here for the past 4 weeks. The first week was just for the drop in puppy social. I was helped so much just from the trainer in puppy social. The next week we began the beginning obedience class and it has also been great! I love Saturdays because we have a tired puppy. I dont think we would have such a good puppy if it wasnt for The Canine Ranch!

A friendly place with a great staff and owner. The groomer does a wonderful job. We feel comfortable leaving our dog here.

This place was great to take my dog that isnt a huge fan of other dogs. Private dock area and got to swim with my pump. Pricing was very reasonable.

Taking my dog, Sadie, for agility classes. Had our first session today and I was impressed with the trainer and the facilities. My trainer worked patiently with Sadie and myself and we got positive results. Was also given homework to continue the training at home until our next class. Looking forward to seeing how capable Sadie and I are at being trained. It was a fun class and was awesome to see my girl learn and enjoy doing so.

We took our 5 1/2 month old Australian Shepherd (Heidi) to The Canine Ranch for beginner obedience training, and we were blown away at how terrific it was. The trainer Alicia and her assistant Justin really know how to help doggie parents understand their fur babies and how to get their fur babies to respond. It’s as much training for the humans as the dogs, and Alicia repeats things again and again before moving on. She will spend as much time as you need for you and your dog to understand the lesson. We are so grateful to have had her and Justin help us with Heidi. And Heidi is amazing at the basic commands. Can’t wait to start intermediate training with Alicia next! One more thing - Puppy Playtime on Saturday mornings is awesome! It’s supervised and the puppies get to play to thei heart’s content!

We have boarded our two senior pups with Canine Ranch several times over the last 2 years and I am consistently impressed with their service. Their staff are professionally trained in dog behavior, are mindful of special instructions relating to our pups, communicate well about how our pups stay is going, and provide a detailed report at the conclusion of their stay. Every staff person with whom Ive spoken is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about our pups. Their reservation and payment process is easy, pick-up and drop-off times are ideal, and their level of flexibility with potential last minute changes is excellent. I wouldnt take our canine loved ones anywhere else!

My dog is in the Intermediate Obedience class, after having taken her beginner class here. We both love it! The instructors are very knowledgeable about all facets of dog training, motivation, and behavior. They go the extra mile to ensure that you and your dog succeed in achieving your training goals!😁

We absolutely love everything about the Canine Ranch, training, nosework, agility - everything. This year they put a heater on the dock diving pool so the water is nice and warm. I dint think we have ever rented the dock this early. If you dont know about Canine Ranch, you need to go to one of their play pass days where you and your pups can try all of it out to see wha3ts the most fun for you. Oh, and puppy socials are great too - we started Rudy on those to get used tonither dogs as soon as he had all his shots.

They treat our Willow like family.We always know she is well taken care of and safe when she is vacationing there.

Volunteered at all event here. Very big open area, lots of fun stuff for the dogs.

My Wild Child, Via, came back *A perfect Lady*. So pleased! I have a 102 lb Black Lab Border Collie Mix. She pulled me where ever she wished to go on our Mountain. A deer, squirrel, bear, snake... we were going after it and it was dangerous for both of us. I knew it was only a matter of time before I got something broken or one or both of us got injured. So... off to The Canine Ranch for 2 weeks of *Doggie Board and Train*. It was amazing what my Via learned in 2 weeks! I have a different fur baby back. She listens, walks nicely right beside me on a leash, sits when I say sit and waits until I release her to come through a gate or door. Lays down when I say to and she is such a joy to walk. I took her to our River Walk and she ignored another dog that came 20 feet from her and that dog was pulling on its leash to get to her and she sat perfectly still and did not move, nor did she bark. A HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!! Via use to bark, bark, bark, and pull me to the other animals. We could not go to the River Walk where other people were walking their fur babies as we might be in a dog fight. I am so very thankful to her trainer, Annette, who turned my Wild Child into a well behaved fur baby that I can handle. Thank you so much Annette! Thank you Canine Ranch for taking such great care of Via. She will be back to visit as she loved her time there with trail walks and dock diving! My Via had never been boarded or away from family in 5 years and she did so great at The Canine Ranch. I did not ask that Via be *off leash trained* as we live on a Mountain in NC and there are numerous wild animals - snakes, bears, bob cats that are too risky for any fur baby to be off leash around. Her on leash training is amazing and I am so proud of how well trained she is and how enjoyable it is to walk her now and proud of how well she acts around other fur babies. She can now go out in public places! Thanks again Annette (her trainer) and The Canine Ranch!

Have had some mixed experiences. Overall positive. So hopefully will change to a 5. A little pricey over some other places, but if you consider the facilities then you are benefitting from their well maintained location and various services.

This is a wonderful spot for training and dog sports of all kinds north of Atlanta. Weve used The Canine Ranch for obedience training, dock diving and agility and the pups love it!

Very friendly and affordable. Treated our do great, not just a kennel at all but they do fun stuff with the dogs too. So much that our dog didnt want to come back home easily.

By far, one of the best training and lodging facilities I have ever dealt with. Katie is an amazing trainer who takes time to explain things clearly as they pertain to you and your dog. She has given both me and my dog the confidence we need to continue to train and reminded me that training should be fun!A special thank you to Chris for her kindness while my five fur-kids where there for boarding. My rating for the Canine Ranch went from 5 stars to 1 as their price increased over time. The place is ridiculously expensive. The care is on par with other good boarding facilities, but youll pay Beverly Hills prices. Looking for a way to lighten your wallet? Bring your pets here, otherwise explore your many options for other competent boarding businesses with nice outdoor spaces for your pet to enjoy.

Great place to take your dogs to play, train and boarding. Our German Shepherd loves dock diving and the luring course. The trainer was a great help to get her started in dock diving.

We adopted an 8-week Border Collie from Chris Mcleod and cannot express how happy we are that we found Chris. She truly loves her dogs and pups and when we welcomed Brodie into our home he was already a well-adjusted puppy with incredible social skills. This was important to us since we have young children. I will never adopt a pup from anyone but Chris. It was great meeting the generations of dogs in her family which were all happy and eager to please. GREAT JOB CHRIS!!!

I cant express my delight in finding The Canine Ranch for boarding services initially. Id had terrible experiences with other boarding services elsewhere, particularly with my temperamental Jack Russell Terrier. Immediately, he felt at home and actually looks forward to it! How do I know this? He RUNS to the door when we arrive! Just recently, I scheduled a training session for a few behavior problems. After one session, I saw amazing results. Again, my expectations were exceeded! The staff are so professional, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. I cant say enough... I wish I could give them 10 stars!

They are very rough with the dogs even though the establishment is nationally known. I do not agree with how they treat dogs that they are trying to correct and I feel like positive reinforcement would be a much better path to take.

Got stuck in Calhoun hiding from Irma with my Labrador, Cuda. Found these guys through Google Maps, and sent an email, even though it was Sunday night before Irmas remnants were supposed to hit here,.Hannah called 1st thing Monday morning and said we could rent the dock if we didnt mind rain, and get a private agility lesson in, too! How awesome, because they dont know anything about us, and Im sure wanted to get their own staff home in case the weather got bad.Beautiful grounds, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We warmed up on the dock in the rain, and then went for a lesson with Chris, and found that Cuda has not forgotten all his agility, and is unfortunately still handler challenged But we learned some new stuff, too, and wore him out enough to not eat the hotel room for the rest of the rainy day!

Have boarded our ten-year old Shih Tzu here several times. He has stayed up to 12 days at a time. I have confidence in the staff that he will be well taken care of. He always comes back to us the way we left him, happy and ready to play.

We used Ashton and her obedience class to help us train our Yorkie, Kobi. Ashton was very good with helpful hints about the things we should do at home to reinforce Kobi’s training.

This place is amazing, if you havent taken your dog here for a visit you really should.

This is the most fabulous boarding facility we have ever worked with. The accommodations are wonderful, the staff is amazing. They treat our pets like their own. We picked them up this morning after a 10 day stay. The comments on our report card were: We Love Daisy & Lumie. They are such great Cuddle Butts, I loved giving Daisy tons of belly rubs, and playing with them both outside in the sun. Thank you for sharing them with us. Both dogs came home happy and healthy. No signs of stress. Lumie is a bit hoarse, but then he has always been pretty Chatty.Our Experience with The Canine Ranch has been extraordinary. We first went to them with our now 12 year old Sheltie Lumiere to explore his aptitude for Sheep Herding (He has lots thats another story), We have used them for several years to help us with training problems with Lumie, and with our Cairn terrier, Daisy. We have boarded both dogs here several times for extended days 10 - 25 days always with excellent outcomes for them and for us. When we go on vacations, so do Lumie and Daisy.

This is the 2nd, and last, time we take our dog here for boarding. An enjoyable overnight getaway ruined when we picked up our dog, covered in urine and handed back our Orvis dog bed and two blankets..also sopping wet with urine--which had to go onto our leather seats in our car. Disgusting.... They knew we were arriving to pick up our dog between 5-6pm; wouldnt you at least wash blankets, etc, considering it was $45 for ONE NIGHTs stay? NEVER GOING BACK.
