A very bad experience. Firstly, the customer service is extremely unprofessional, with a few kids and a couple of unprofessional staff working at the front desk. They clearly mentioned that the doctor visit fee is USD 90. When I got the insurance bill, the doctor visit was USD 225. The bill for transvaginal examination was also high. There was a person in doctors costume at the front desk, who was treating patients badly and giving wrong information on insurance. The main doctor was extremely unprofessional, multi-tasking on insurance claims and talking to patients. Switched to IHA and an amazing customer and patient experience. The insurance bill was also 30 percent lower.

Doctor is wonderful. She delivered both of my children. She is a very well experienced doctor, polite and caring. She has been so kind throughout my both pregnancies. She was so supportive and patience in my both deliveries. With my first pregnancy I had natural contraction but ended up having emergency c-section. With my second baby she guided me to induce naturally and successfully had VBAC. I highly recommend her!!

If you are looking for an entire team who will take care of your pregnancy/womens health needs, its definitely this clinic. When I say team, I mean everyone, this includes the operators you talk to over the phone, the receptionists, clinic nurses, ultrasound and lab technicians, and of course Doctor Nichana. They’re the best! ❤️ I absolutely adore Doctor Nichana and wish her the best success and joy because she made me feel safe and comfortable in every step of my pregnancy and delivery. 🤍🤍🤍

The worst doctor i have visited , i went to dr nichana to confirm my pregnancy, she did transvaginal test and when i tried to scream as i have vaginasmus ahe yelled at me saying that how can i deliver a baby if i cry for pain. My husband asked her the food i have to take care during my pregnancy she is irritated. She made me feel that i can never deliver a baby. Later i changed my doctor and delivered healthy baby without any problem. Never visit her , she makes you feel low and she is very very rude

Everyone from the front desk to the nursing staff to the doctor is just very kind, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful everything positive I could say about my experiences with the appointments Ive had there. Dr Jyoti was extremely helpful in each visit I had with her and I always felt that I was in safe hands.Thank you Dr JyotiI highly recommend Dr Jyoti to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time with Dr. Nichana with the birth of our three children. She, as well as the entire of the office employees, are always pleasant.

I normally do not write reviews but I could not forget my experience on last visit. Dr use to be nice but my recent visit was awful. Dr was extremely rude. I will never go back nor would recommend going to her.

Doctor Nichana and team are wonderful. Dr. Nichana delivered both of my children now and will be delivering my third. She’s an amazing OBGYN and a person. She cares about your needs and your baby the most. I went to a different doctor in the beginning of my third pregnancy because of a closer location but was not as great as Nichana so I went back to her and I am so grateful that I did!

Left my mom in a miserable state for months(to the point where she had to get a blood transfusion) and did not care about her situation. Sooo sooo glad we switched!! She met up with us for 2 minutes and gave my mom a bunch of meds that did nothing! Did not keep track of the meds she described or anything?!?! (Very scary and unprofessional) Not to mention we had to wait hrs to see her when our appointment was scheduled at an earlier time!!!When we left we were given a printed paper that summarized the services she charged us for however it was not a bill so we waited to get the actual bill! Now we got a bill and she also charges us extra for being late?!!?!? Srsly? (Btw the non bill paper said at the bottom $0 charge for being late) Never ran across another doctor like this, i feel sorry to my mom for not switching her doctor earlier...

I had very good experience with Doctor Nichanametla during my pregnancy. She is a very well experienced doctor and has good caring nature for her patients. She knows what she is doing and takes the good decision to make sure the safety of her patients. Her office staff is very cooperative with all scheduling and reminders. Doctor Nichana is a miracle worker. In 2018, she performed a myomectomy on me, in which she had to remove a grapefruit-sized fibroid. It was major surgery and not laparoscopy. I never thought I would have any more children after that. On November 12th of this year she delivered my healthy baby girl.She is completely professional and compassionate. I will be forever grateful to her.

This medical office has honestly scarred me in terms of gynecology.When going into the office this past Friday for my scheduled IUD insertion the medical staff was uneducated and unprepared. They got me ready for my IUD insertion, painfully dilating my cervix several times, before they realized that they did not have one of the tools required to insert my IUD. I left the office almost in tears, the pain would have been unimportant if I had actually received my IUD.The unprofessionalism from this facility was unbelievable and unsanitary. I witnessed them use ultrasound gel as lubricant, though the bottle specifically states of external use only (photograph provided below). I watched assistants handle the trash can and garbage with sterile gloves, which they then handled medical equipment which the doctor placed inside me.I would not recommend this office to anyone as they are incredibly unprofessional and unable to handle these appointments.

Beautiful experience with Dr. Nichana and her team! She has been so kind throughout my pregnancy and delivery. Every fear, question was dealt professionally, she also took utmost care during this pandemic, always kept the safety of the patient a top priority. Highly recommend!

Dr.Jyothi Nichana is a wonderful, caring and down-to-earth person. She delivered my baby boy- it was my first pregnancy. She patiently answered all my questions throughout my pregnancy. I have also called the office a few times with questions and the staff could get back to me over phone after consulting the doctor.She was personally present during my delivery and had a great knack of teaching me how to push hard. I also appreciate that getting appointments from her office is so much more quicker and easier than many on-gyns out there. After all everyone wants to visit a doctor when they need it the most and not weeks later when the ailment doesn’t even exist.My experience with Dr.Jyothi was quite a positive one. Of course she did seem busy during some of the appointments but if you insisted on getting something checked or asking some questions, she was sensitive to it.

I have been here for a few months and i like her and her office staff. They are very professional and the Canton location is always clean and smells very nice. Dr. Nichanametla delivered my daughter and she made sure that both my daughter and myself stayed healthy.

I dont usually write reviews however, I felt compelled to do so due to lack of response received from the office.Dr Nichanametla struggles to explain the purpose of the medication prescribed to her patients. My wife had to change her doctor in the middle of the treatment due to lack of confidence in the doctor.They are not prompt in collecting and billing co-pays.They sat on three dates of services for more than 6 months after the insurance processed the claims and billed all three on one statement. We have a flexible spending account, its unfortunately a use it or loose it account. All dates of services for prior year are only covered until March of next year.We received the first statement from their office in May or June of next year when all the services were processed and paid by the Insurance within the year of service. I called the office and expressed my concerns with the office Manager, she promised to talk to the Dr. and call us back but never did.We pay our bills timely, the amount was not high however, since they delayed billing and we lost money, I was hoping that they will take the accountability and adjust the balance. My wife always carry the flexible spending Credit card, she was never asked for co-pay.Upon several calls and voice mails, we stopped getting statements so I thought they adjusted the accounts until we received the collection notice.

-1 for bad bed side manners by staff. but keeping that aside, Doctor is well experienced and has done my c-section professionally.. scar is barely visible and i recovered fast without much pain. however, She is always in hurry, or rather, busy. keep ur questions ready.

I was in supervision of her during my first child. In just one word, she is excellent. She took best decisions for me whenever needed. Her stuffs are also good. Doctor Nichanametla very patiently listened my each and every question during the long pregnant period and answered those accordingly. Like a closed family friends she treated us. I went to Dr. Nichanametla few years back. That time she was warm and caring. I went to her again for in Jan 2019, the staff and the doctor was very rude and unprofessional. She was so rushed and not in mood to give proper response to my questions.The billing department in another nightmare...when I recieved my first bill I paid over phone and requested for the receipt to be sent over mail. I called multiple times both to the billing department and the office...the billing department never calls back...the front office just says the person who handles the billing is on vacation. I have requested this receipt for almost 4 months with multiple calls for remainders. Very unprofessional. Just dont want to deal with them again. Never going back.

Dr. Jyothi is great OBGY physician, very helpful during my pregnancy and delivery. I should be very thankful for guiding and supporting me in all stages of my pregnancy. Me being as a doctor, Im really grateful to her for making it normal, otherwise I wouldve ended up with a C-section. She has a good and caring staff.

I have been searching for a GYN for years. I wanted someone who listened and who would take the time to care for me, not just quickly prescribe medication or treatments. I wanted someone who was welcoming and kind. I found all of these amazing attributes in Dr. Nichanamelta! She is patient and willing to hear her patients stories. Not only is she great and humorous, but she has great staff that assist her. Everyone that I have come in contact with in her office (front desk staff and those that take vitals) are super sweet and professional. I thought I would never find a Gyn office like that, and to my surprise, I did. I am grateful to be a patient in their office. Thanks everyone for making my experience pleasant :)

Very very worst and bad experience of the doctor.no proper guidance and no direction. No planning , no taking care of critical health issues and concerns of mothers. People here Do not even know and maintain what’s patients current problems & critical conditions . We were not given any pamphlets as to how the pregnancy would go when we started with our prenatal care here. Didn’t advise plan B options for wife’s gestional diabetes. We had to wait to get a appointment for 4 weeks.Would advise nobody to visit and screw yourself. Nothing else but the bills have to be paid in time . No time to talk properly during regular visits , everybody runs here and there don’t know for what reasons ??!Please take care if you plan to visit here. Would advise to go to bigger hospitals.

I prefer the canton office, where ultra sound scan, lab works etc... are done within the office . Doctor Jyothi took wise decision in time for a safe delivery. I would definitely recomend her.

We have chosen Dr. Jyothi Nichanametla as my wifes gynecologist for our second baby. During regular visits, Dr. Jyothi was Very friendly and very informative. On the delivery time, Dr. Jyothi was very helpful, she walked us through all the procedures which made us feel very comfortable and she never got annoyed at all the million questions we asked. Do not go to them. I did not have a good experience with them at all! Im 31 weeks and will be finding another OB. (Oh well) They charge me $500 for a bunch of bull I DIDNT ask for. They waited until I was 8 months along to give me a bill when I been going to them since I was 6 weeks pregnant. Whole time I was thinking my insurance was covering everything. They have me on so much medication which I dont feel is nnecessary or safe. .. Dr. Nich is never there, the staff doesnt speak good English so your questions are not answered to the best of their knowledge. They are all about money and attending to their culture people . I will not be paying them dime! these scam artist played me. Please dont go to them ladies!!!

I highly recommend Dr.Nichana, she is awesome and took very good care of me and my baby through out my pregnancy. Due to her excellent care and helpful advice Im blessed with a healthy baby boy. All staff members are very friendly and helpful as well.

I was a patient of Dr. Kaza for over 15 years and when she left Michigan and left Dr. Nichanametla in her clinic I decided to stay there. I only visited her once a year for a yearly check ups, and the first 3-4 years she was fine. She spoke to me and was receptive to my questions and concerns. Most of my appointments lasted between 10-15 minutes. It was after the 4th year that started to feel uncomfortable there. Normal yearly checkup appointments began to become what I called Drive -by appointments. When I say Drive-by I mean, she came in did the pap smear and walked away leaving me with the nurse. But since I had been with this clinic for almost two decades, they have all my medical history, I decided to continue seeing her. In 2019, this all changed. I had a couple of issues and during the Drive-by appointment, I stopped her as she was leaving and told her that I had some concerns. She decided to do another procedure a week later. A week later, that appointment was pretty much the same. She left me in pain without talking to me. The nurse stayed and helped me. A few days later (Thursday) I get a call from a nurse to make an appointment about the results. I made one for the following Monday, I asked her if she could tell me if something was wrong. She said only the doctor could speak to me about the results. I spent Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning worried about the results. On Monday, the nursed notice that my blood pressure was high and I looked worried. I told her that I had been extremely worried about the appointment. I guess it was high enough that Dr. Nichanametla asked how I was feeling. I explained, to which she responded I told you during our last appointment that all results are discussed in person. She told me that all the results were normal. I was happy to hear the results, but I was extremely appalled that she had me worried for days to tell me that the results were normal. She tried to cover up that she had told me that all results are discussed in person, that was a lie. I had to take an entire day off work to go see her. This should have been done over the phone, not only that my insurance and I were charged for an appointment that was unnecessary. On March 22, 2019 I left this clinic extremely upset, I immediately started to look for a new doctor. I made arrangements for my medical file to be transferred. As I look back, I should of listen to my instincts on that first Drive-by appointment.

I thought of not writing a review but then I thought of the people who are going to Dr Jyothi Nichanametla or planning to go to her should be aware of my ordeal. I visited Dr. Jyothi Nichanametla first time in Oct 2018 for general consultancy, after sharing all my past medical history I was seeking for some guidance as we were planning to get pregnant. She took my concern very casually and bluntly told me not to have that thought (planning pregnancy and going for infertility treatment, I am 38yrs old). I was taken aback with the bluntness but eventually dismissed it. I thought of changing the doctor but Dr Jyothi Nichanametla was highly recommended by one of my close friend, so I decided to see her again. I had an appointment today June 5th. I was shocked and totally in tears as I had a highly unprofessional experience. The purpose of my visit was my irregular periods and I had doubts of early menopause. The doctors assistant was very professional and courteous and asked all relevant questions regarding my problem and concern and noted down everything. After waiting for an hour Dr Jyothi showed up with a huge frown and the most unwelcoming looks. She asked me what I am experiencing, so I told her I am stressed out as I am doubting early menopause. She replied with a strong tone “I am here to check any biological problem not to treat your stress level”, I was not expecting such a reply from a doctor, I was trying to be thorough and let the doctor know what I am experiencing so that she can help me to explain and diagnose the issue. I got very upset with that response but still thought that the doctor might be having a bad day (Still does not qualify for such an attitude, I THOUGHT I AM THE PATIENT!) so I asked her if she is not in a good mood and will it be ok to examine me in such a mental state? To that she replied with even more irritated and haughty tone “No I am fine tell me if you are having any bleeding or anything”. I told her that I have updated her assistant with everything and my main concern is early menopause. She rolled her eyes upward as if she I am the dumbest person on this earth and with a matching tone asked “have you missed your periods for a year?”, I answered “No” then the Dr said “if you have not then you are not menopausing”. She was so preoccupied with her thoughts and probably the number of patients she is seeing that she did not even listen to what my concern was and was not able to differentiate between menopause and early menopause. She was so rude, arrogant and unprofessional. At the time she pulled out the ultrasound transducer shaking her head. I was horrified seeing that transducer in the doctor’s hand shaking her head, almost mad, rude and irritated and realized what it can do to me. I stopped her immediately and told her that I do not want the check as she is not in a good mood and I do not want that transducer near me especially in the hand of that doctor. She put the transducer back, shrugged her shoulders and arrogantly walked out of the room. Her assistant tried to calm me down and made me understand that Dr Jyothi has been really busy since morning as she is seeing patient one after the another and there were 3-5 patients waiting for her. I was already in tears, horrified and in disbelief in what I had experienced today. It was utter harassment and I felt like shouting which probably I should have done but I swallowed my pride and came out of the office as I did not wanted to make a scene. I came to the doctors office with a clear mind, casually thinking that I will get some answers to my problems but I came out of that place with tears in my eyes, shaken and in disbelief. I feel very sorry for the staff working at Dr. Jyothi Nichanametla office, if the doctor treats her patients this way not sure what she does to her staff. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DOCTOR.

I had a bad experience under Dr. Jyothi. I was a patient of Dr. Jyothi,i got multiple miscarriages. Dr.Jyothi did a pap test for me and all the test results came good. After 2 months,I went to consult another gynecologist and she was able to find a cervical polyp and removed.According to the new doctor,this was not a very small polyp (which should have formed 2 months before).I am wondering how this is missed during my Pap test by Dr. Jyothi.I am trying for baby and if this polyp was not found by second doctor,it may block my pregnancy .Pap test is meant for detecting all the cervical abnormalities including cancer and if any polyps are there,that also should be.I request staff and doctor to be more cautious during these kind of tests.

If there was a way to give this office ZERO stars I would. Horrible staff, rude, and very unorganized! They double book their patients and then when you come in for your appointment, they claim that you never made one. Had an issue with my insurance so I had to pay for my visit. They only accept CASH which meant I had to leave, find an atm and come back. They wouldn’t speak to me until I paid. Paid $150 to see the Doctor for literally 5 minutes. When I called back to go over my results that were emailed to me, they gave me the run around for WEEKS claiming the doctor was unavailable each and every time. When I called back and informed them my insurance was reinstated, only then was I able to get a hold of the doctor and make an appointment to go over my results. Needless to say I will be going to another doctor. No one should go through that many loops especially in regards to a persons health!

Simply looting insurance and individuals. Looks like she has only option for all pregnancy and i.e C-SECTION unless you fight with her. Fake claims are part of their business. Strong recommendation stay away from her. Full of fake reviews.

Dr. Nichanametla, She is a wonderful doctor she will listen to you and believe this I am the kind of person with lots of questions when its comes to my health. I love the way she really listens to everything I have to say.

I had my first baby girl in September and it was a normal delivery. Dr. Jyothi was very patient and friendly through the whole process. I would completely recommend her for any gynec assistance. Thanks again to her.

I didn’t have a good experience with her . I had to wait at least 1 hour before I could see the doctor at every visit even though I had scheduled the appointment well in advance. She fails to address and explain your queries and concerns properly. Not only that the staff also seems to be confused and very unsure of what they r doing. Altogether I felt there was a lack of professionalism and discipline.

Three generations of women see Doctor Nichana. My grandmother, mother, and now my sister and I. She delivered my first and only child. I was a young mom and Doctor Nichana was one of the people in my life during that scary time that was my support along with my family. You will never find a more compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and friendly obgyn. I highly recommend her. There will be many more generations of my family who will see her for years to come.

She is a good doctor for non-first time moms, but I really have not enjoyed my experience for some reason. I feel so rushed everytime I go for my appointments and Dr. N is very invalidating of my experience as a new mom. They were supposed to do my QUAD bloodwork and did not do it, rather they just re-did an old test. I dont know, I think for me personally I am better off with a new doctor

After seeing a horrible ob near my house I had went and seen Dr. Ninchana, and she was super helpful, and very kind, I see her, my mom, my grandma, and my neighbor. We all love her. Shes probably the best obgyn in Michigan. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Dr nichana is an amazing Dr I first came to her when I was 8 months pregnant and moved to Michigan she was the only Dr who would take me so far along and she did amazing when I lost my faith in pushing she helped me through. My second pregnancy she did amazing as well always checking on me and she was very fast and gental unlike some female Drs . She didnt make it to my second delivery because I went to quick but she was there right after asking me how I was and being there for me. After that the on call Dr left placnpla inside had an emergency dnc with the on call obgyn (different from delivery ) and they still left some inside me. She did everything she could before now Im getting my second one but with her because I trust her very very much !! She hugged me when I came in after all the pain I was in . I dont feel uncomfortable talking with her because of how understanding she is.

I had my second baby delivered through her.. She is an expert and caring doctor.. I am very happy to have chosen her..

It was a great and secured feeling working with Dr Jyothi Nichhenametla for past 10 months until our baby born.She was very thorough in estimating the situation of the baby inside and being compatible as per the patients life style is definitely a comfort factor for the people approaching her.In-spite of mixed reviews we experienced totally different image of the Doctor and her office. Posting our experience to help new people for having most realistic image of DR Nichana.

We have a made good choice by choosing Jyothi. She has been so patient with all our questions all through the pregnancy. Most importantly she adds a personal touch to the whole experience which made us feel so comfortable even in difficult situations too.

I am a first time mom and was very nervous while choosing obgyn. Thank god I choose Dr.Nichana. she was very helpful and kind. Always listened to every small concern I had and explained things in detail. Every test was done on time and uploaded the results immediately to healow(its an app for patients to access health records). My overall experience was excellent. She is the worst doctor and stuff we met, unnaccessary tests and repeated same tests in 2 days and billing to insurance and be careful when you explaining problem to stuff, you may get wrong prescriptions.

If you value your life DO NOT go to Dr. Nichana!!!! She let an infected incision be drawn up to normal doscharge which later resulted in SEPTIC SHOCK that nearly took my life!! My husband noticed me unconscious in our bed and not breathing. When we got to the hospital all of my blood counts were extremely low, Kidneys were shutting down and breathing was abnormal. 2 months in the hospital, 4 blood transfusions, a pic line to my heart, extremely painful surgeries ( one of which was to put a tube in my stomach to DRAIN the infection from my uterus) and months of recovery at home with an in-house nurse!! Not only was it devastating 5 years ago, its haunted me to this very day and has left me incapable og conceiving another child on my own. Dr. Nichana RIPPED the precious decision of building my family away from me the very day she chaulked up what turned out to be a septic infection to a normal discharge. shes put a mark on my life forever and took something from me that I will never get back. its not worth it!!! Save your life and your future, find another doctor.

Bad experience! This doctor doesn’t even know what patient she’s talking to she rushes in and out of the room doesn’t spend time answering patient questions. not just that but repeated unnecessary tests and only recommends C Section. Go only if you’re planning for a C-Section.

We had very bad expriexper with her. She never care to listen us. Always in hurry. After delivery she came hospital to visit us only after 2 days
