Dr. Widener gives it to you straight and honestly. Hes helped me make the best of an aging body.

This experience was way below average. I was in terrible pain & wearing a hoodie since it was cold out. The office staff here is incompetent!! The lady at front desk took my temperature 3 times & pointed a laser gun at my head. It’s well know those laser guns can read temperature anywhere on the body. She said it was a little high 99.4 & so she had to keep retaking it. Yeah duh, I had sprained my ankle the night before so my body temp is a bit elevated - finally some girl in scrubs came & took it... NORMAL temperature!! 😤🙄I chose to go here instead of an urgent care or ER... this doctor is not very informative... came into the room with this fake cheery smile & complimented me on my GA Jacket. Then we did X-rays. I felt he should have shown me & went over the images with me. Poor bedside manner!! I couldn’t move my foot so he said I had weak tendons & that I’d likely need surgery. Ended up getting a second opinion & that was not the case at all. I would not recommend this place or this dr. widener. Stay away from this office!!!

Dr. Widener is absolutely fantastic. His skills as an Orthopedic Surgeon are unsurpassed in my opinion. I am at seven weeks post op today with my left shoulder replaced, and doing well enough to not need my three month follow up! My physical therapists tell me I am weeks ahead of schedule. I will be referring all my family and friends to this great doctor. In addition, his personality and bedside manner are superb. Thank you Dr. Widener and staff for a great experience!

I called concerned with my course of treatment at another facility. Pam convinced me to come in for a consult. I am so glad I did! I avoided unnecessary joint replacement and had a scope instead from which I am recovering faster than imaginable. Dr. Widener understood my situation, made me feel at ease and did great work on my schedule. I would highly recommend (and already have) him to those I care about most.

My injured thumb is much better after diagnosis and treatment. I was pleased that xrays were done in the office. Dr. Widener was very pleasant and thorough. I recommend.

He was very knowledgeable, gracious, and knew right away what was causing my hip problem. He gave me a shot that helped immensely and sent me to therpy to stretch out the tightness to avoid the problem again. I was impressed with his whole staff. I will go to him again.

I recently had surgery removing a mass from my pinky finger, and Dr. Widener was absolutely fantastic. He treated me well, and made the whole experience smooth. I had a very short recover time due to the great work he had done.

I went to Dr. Widener with a shoulder injury that occured while at college. He helped me get back to normal without surgery! Great bedside manner and explained everything. I highly recommend him.

This 3 minute appointment that cost $180 after insurance gave me NO relief and very little information. Dr. Wideners poor bedside manner and quick dismissal left me feeling as if I had wasted my time and money. I will be searching for a more thorough Orthopedic. I was told my issue is with my IT bands, that I needed to make a PT appt when I left and he would call in a steroid. Two days after my appt I had to call them because they hadnt even called in my prescription. In all I spent $180 and 1.5 hours of my time to still be in pain and looking for another orthopedic. Dont waste your time here.

Dr. Widener is very professional and kind Ive gotten 4 shots from him and am very happy with him and his staff. I highly recommend seeing him.

Dr. Widener did a great job with my shoulder. I had to get an injection to help with impingement and have not had any problems since. Thank you Dr Widener!

While a patient he saw visited and was assessed, with the pretense of competency, he presented with poor bedside manner, as well as poor patient communication and assessment skills. From a a healthcare standpoint it is the standard in the industry to properly assess, communicate with patients entrusting you with their healthcare. I am truly surprised that this “MD” is operating within one of the better groups in the nation. I suppose sliding by with C’s Or A’s in classes will eventually get you those two indentifying letters, it’s on you to provide the physician assessments you are entrusted to be an expert of.
