Making payment on its side and setting up a profile was pretty easy the representative was very helpful the only thing that I saw that may have been a little of a downfall was that in order to set up a online account you have to call them first and your first payment with them the word also incur a fee on your debit card for one time payment after that then you can set up a profile on them pay online and the fee will be charged after that

This company is a real get over........ In June of 2018 I purchased a car from a dealership called McCoy Motors..... A month down the line I figured out that SAS was suing McCoy Motors for whatever reason.... I was told not to send my payment to McCoy Motors anymore I was told that the payment that I made August 10th did not go through and that I had to show proof that I paid it... After showing proof that I paid the payment my car was turned off three days later while I was driving down the street..... Strategic Automotive servicing and then for me to call the police and make a report..... After doing so I called them back and told them that I had made a report and my was still in shutdown mode... They told me I was still to make my payments on my car and my car was shut off for 3 months until I called to ask about my payment and they told me well your car is on now that was 3 months down the line of me catching taxis and hitching a ride with people.... These people are very rude they dont want to work with you in any kind of way and if anybody from North Carolina is thinking about going with this company dont.... They are real rip off

In late July of 2018 my Scion XB that was financed through SAS broke down beyond repair. I still owed $4200. on the vehicle and was initially going to do a voluntary repossession. Oscar told me that he could get a settlement offer together for me that would save my credit from any negative marks and the account would be closed out in good standing. Once I received the offer letter (for the amount of $1500) and reassurance from Oscar and Jasmine that making this payment would protect my credit from negative impact I accepted and told Jasmine I would get the funds together and call her by the end of the week to make the payment. When I called her back I asked her to email me another copy of the settlement offer with todays date ( 9/12/18) and she obliged, we also went over how they would report to the credit bureaus one more time and I was told once again that it would be reported as paid in full and the account would be closed in good standing. We processed the transaction and I was under the impression everything was good. Two days later (9/14/18) I received a notification from the credit karma app that there were changes to my credit report. Upon checking the app I discovered that on 9/11/18 SAS reported me late for the payments that accrued during the time period between the car becoming a total loss and the day I made the settlement payment. No mention of this was made to me on 9/12/18 when I was told, again, by Jasmine that my credit would not be harmed. I emailed Jasmine that night asking her to please call me as soon as she received my email because an error must have been made and my credit score dropped 115 points. No response the next morning. So I called (9/15/18) and Jasmine apologized and told me that Oscar was not in the office yet but she would make sure he called me by noon that day. I finally called again today (10/1/18) after no response for over two weeks and was told that Oscar was not working today and was transferred to the voicemail of the director of operations. I left him a detailed message asking for a call back and then an hour later Oscar called me back. He told me he never got a message to call me from Jasmine and then proceeded to tell me that I was fully aware that this would happen when I did not make the 2 regular scheduled payments before we came to an agreement. I explained to him that I was most definitely not aware and I would have never paid the $1500 if I had known they were going to trash my credit anyway. He had no empathy and basically told me that it was my fault and not his problem. I am still waiting to hear back from the director of operations on the matter. Furthermore, and unrelated to the credit issue, SAS could not return my email or call for over two weeks but I did receive a letter from them today (10/01/18) telling me that upon review of their records they discovered that I cancelled the insurance on said vehicle and I must reinstate the auto insurance immediately to remain in compliance with my loan agreement. This letter was dated 9/23/18 and my loan agreement was satisfied and closed on 9/12/18.
