Beechwood Medical Center is the best hospital experience I have ever had. Every person I saw the day of my surgery was so sweet and caring. From beginning to end was a great experience. They kept my husband informed and really helped me during recovery. I have never had a hospital give me essential oils to ease anything and I loved it!! Really helped a ton.

I didn’t feel a thing! All I remember is getting my mask on and I was out about 3 mins later, after surgery I woke up in no pain and didn’t remember going to the hospital 😂

This was the best! My question and concerns were answered in a way that made me comfortable. Everyone involved worked together as a team and it really made a difference. Everyone was very professional. They took amazing care of me while I was there. They answered all questions and concerns that I had. It was nice that they joked around with me to keep me calm all the way into the operating room and until the medicine that they gave me start to call me down to put me to sleep took effect.

Going into my surgery I was extremely nervous. I was scared I was not gonna be able to manage my pain. The day before my surgery I received a call from the anesthesiologist, she assured me that I was under great care and explain to me thoroughly what was gonna happen the following day. The morning of the surgery I was still extremely nervous so instead of keeping me half awake she agreed to put me completely out so that my nerves were calm and when I woke up I would know nothing And it made it easier for me to recover.

I went in for surgery a few days ago, and had to undergo anesthesia for the first time in my life. I was reasonably nervous, but the process was very simple and easy. My recovery was very quick and I had no problems afterwards.

I would have to say that this was the most easy and pleasant experience I’ve ever had when having a procedure done. EVERYONE was very caring.

I spent 21 years as a Medic in the Army. I worked in the Armys largest hospitals and I have to say my experience was the best experience I could have hoped for. Everyone was very polite, and never did I feel like people were rushing, or just doing their jobs. It felt like they cared and enjoyed what they do.

Anesthesiologist was fantastic. The doctor was polite and agreeable. The formula prescribed for clenching my digestive system/Colon was completely ineffective and caused the colonoscopy to not be completed. So the anesthesia he experienced the prep time the day before, getting a ride to and from the hospital We’re all for nothing, a complete waste. Perhaps a cocktail that actually works would be a better idea.

Dr Koziy provided excellent care and showed patience to help me understand what was going to happen before, during and after my surgery. I felt very comfortable and confident with the care provided.Michele Moneypenny CRNA is amazing! Michelle provided the care and compassion that you expect to receive during your surgical procedure. If you are able to request her, make sure you do!Dr Bala is not very compassionate with you after your surgical experience? Or was he just having a bad day? I didnt receive the care or concern that should have inspired his career decision after my surgical procedure.

It was my first time needing general anesthesia for a surgery and Dr. Galambos did a fantastic job addressing any concerns I had. Thank you for making the experience as comfortable as possible. Very pleased with my care.

All the staff were kind, patient and knowledgeable. We were never uncomfortable or stressed about anything. Considering why we were there it was a great experience. Great staff!!

He did a good job. I usually wake up still in the operating room. I didn’t wake up until I was in the recovery room.However, he is not personable. He was brief and didn’t even tell us his name. His assistant had to tell me. “He is just like that,” was her follow up.

I had Dr. Miranda and I feel he was very competent. And addressed all of my questions regarding anesthesia. He was mildly enthusiastic and calmed some of my anxiety. After my procedure I did not get sick from anesthesia and I had some left in me post operatively to help with pain in recovery. Overall good but I feel as though my options and the process was not explained well to me.

Excellent Anesthesiologist! But the Mercy Med staff rushed me out of the OR post room like cattle! I was trying desperately to regain my wits, and wasnt ready to get hurried along... Not the best professional experience, no reflection on the Anesthesiologist though!

Doc Bjorn rules. First I was awake, next thing I know, BAM, I’m waking up post op. He’s got a great sense of humor and is very intelligent. Thank you for getting me through surgery and, for a few hours, helping forget how much I still owe on my mortgage. ;(

Dr. Gerken was very informative and thorough. She also listened to my concerns regarding nausea due to sensitivity to meds and adjusted my treatment plan accordingly, adding antisemitic meds for throughout my surgery process. I felt very comfortable and safe under her care 😊

He was wonderful!! He spoke with me explained everything very well. He was very nice. I was out before I knew it I was awake and recovering well. Couldnt have asked for better treatment.

Everyone from the time I arrived to the time I left made me feel very comfortable and answered any question that I had. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Very caring.... even stayed after surgery to keep a close watch of things that my child was experiencing after surgery. Ive never had an experience where they stayed after surgery to ensure the recovery went well.

Luxenberg, MD from Cleveland clinic union hospital was one of the best anesthesia doctors ever, he was so great calmed me down and helped when needed highly recommend him.. when times comes having another baby I would highly want him to be my doctor again! He knew what he was doing and did wonderful job doing so ! Definitely recommend him for future !

I generally get severe nausea after receiving any kind of anesthesia. I explained this to the doctor and he was very compassionate and heard every single word. This was the first time that I did not have any type of nausea afterwards. I was more than pleased with this doctor services. I would highly recommend him to others!

I was not fully I formed about the side effects of my anesthesia. I have relatives that were treated for the same condition that had far less trouble recovering than I have. A more detailed review of the anesthesia process and side effects is needed.

My anesthesiologist made sure he listened to me as I had two really bad anesthesia experiences with extreme nausea and waking up panicky. He reassured me and said he would give me medication to hopefully prevent these things. I had no nausea and no panic feelings. Thank you so much for a really easy time on a rather scary day

Preoperatively the doctor, anesthetist, and nurses explained procedures he would be undergoing. The nurses who came to take Bob to surgery prayed with the family before taking him. The nurse who was coming out to inform us at intervals how things where proceeding was very considerate and answered our questions. She said she would pray for him throughout the surgery. His aftercare was good for the most part. The unit for aftercare could improve their dietary assistance to the patient post operatively to get access to their meals. Sitting in the cardiac chair for eight hours at a time was a big stressor on Bob while hospitalized in the first three days especially. Dr Lico and the nurses where very informative and helpful to the family and compassionate with their care of Bob. We were not expecting Medicare to turn down his pre cert for in hospital therapy services and had to scramble overnight on a weekend to get ready at home for his discharge. I am a retired nurse and had family to also assist initially with Bobs care.I can see where this would be problematic for persons living alone or without adequate support services being put quickly in place to assist them.

At St. Lukes a very pleasant MD introduced himself as my anestheiologist. I have no recall of the surgery so I guess he was good! I think he stopped in to see me afterwards but I was confused and thought at first he was my surgeon --he said not. (Pain med confusion, probably.) My overall experience at ST. Lukes McLaren in Maumee was excellent --not a sourpuss in the group! the name you asked me to rate was a womans first name, I think, but he was a man.

Dr. Muhammad is friendly and made me feel at ease prior to my surgery. I experienced very few side effects from the anesthesia, and those I did experience were pretty mild. I would trust Dr. Muhammad again in the future.

Great experience! I would highly recommend cataract surgery to anyone who has issues with their vision. The medical staff are extremely nice, hospitable, and informative. As I had never experienced the procedure I was having, I was frightened beyond words. The staff attending me was exceptionally kind, empathetic and masterfully performed their duties. I was terrified but I was confident in the care I was receiving.

A lot was going on and I didn’t have time to process what was happening. This was my first surgery, first time being put to sleep and the experience wasn’t terrible but there’s always room for improvement.
