Ive gone here for years... Im very picky, obsessive, and critical of my own hair. And if were being honest, other peoples hair... but mostly my hair. Ca hair not only cut and snips my hair perfectly, but the prices LITERALLY cannot be beat in the area. I always tell friends and family to go here and I will always go here as long as theyre doors are open.

Walked in a sat was greeted with a welcome, When it was my turn I showed the lady what I wanted done and I asked if that was ok, she kinda threw her arms up and acted upset by that, She got to cutting my hair and did it quite rough, felt like my hair was being ripped out, Got about half way through and my hair looked nothing as to what I requested, I understand they were busy and what not but I’m upset with the way it was done, I’ll probably be taking myself elsewhere.

Went there earlier in the day, and got the best haircut Ive had in years! Christie took great care of me. Took her time going over my hair, and it turned out amazing. Definitely will go back and recommend to a friend.

I have always had a great experience with them. Christie has cut my childrens hair for the past year and a half, (a now 5 yo girl and 4 yo boy) and she does an amazing job on both. She is very meticulous and patient. My kids love her (and actually sit still for her!) I would recommend her any day!

I highly recommend them. I have very long hair (almost to my waist) and have been going to Christie for over a year now. She saved my hair after a REALLY bad cut from someone else, and made me feel like a human again. I have gone back to her ever since. She does an amazing job coloring my hair (Hi-lights and low-lights) and doesnt let it damage my hair. I also use her every time I have a special occasion and need an up-do. She is very creative and has an awesome attitude. I take my whole family to her.

Very nice 👌👌 👌 place to get your hair done even if you only want a quick trim for a quick party look😁😁😁 You cant beat the price, if you find a lower price then you have to check the licences of the barbers or stylist working there. Good luck finding a place to offer a better cut, trim or overall outstanding service.

The price is spot on for a haircut. Christine (short hair) is my go-to hair dresser; she is so sweet and kind and absolutely kills it with my hair cuts!! No one cuts my bangs like she does.

I walked in with my baby because there is a sign saying “walk-ins welcome” and I sat down and waited while three salonists finished their people. Not a single person acknowledged me. After about ten minutes two of the salon girls finished then went behind the counter and the black hair lady rolled her eyes at the other hair lady after looking at me then continued to talk to each other behind the counter while completely ignoring my presence. To say the least I left after wasting twenty minutes of my life. Do NOT go here.

I stopped by to try to get my sons haircut and the 2 girls said that they didn’t know how to cut kids hair. While they were sitting there cutting an adult male’s hair when we came in

Prices are fantastic! I have had my sons hair cut here. He is 7 and very active & the girls are fantastic with him. They are very patient & he ends up having great, even haircuts even though he wiggles around.I had a facial wax here and Tara was fantastic. She was super friendly and the experience was great!You really cant be the prices and the friendliness of all the girls. Great salon!

Horrible! My cut looks nothing like the picture I was showing her the whole time. she chopped my hair much shorter than it was supposed to be and nothing is even! I have to live with this embarrassment, there is no room to fix anything unless I shave all of my hair off!

Ive gone to this shop several times and have been very happy with the outcome. Ive never had to wait long at all. There is a haircutter named Josh that did such a great job that my son-in-law decided to try out the shop and now he is a regular there. It has all the things I look for: fast service, quality work, and a low price. Thumbs up!

Id definitely recommend anyone to go here! I needed all my split ends cut off and I went it about a month ago and I absolutely loved the cut I got. My mom went in about a week later for a totally different cut and her hair looks amazing! Last night I went in because I decided I wanted all of my hair cut off into like a fohawk type of style and I got Jessica and she made my hair look amazing!! They do a great job in their and all for a great price!

If I could give less than one star I would. I sat for 20 minutes waiting to get my hair done. I got in there chair and I was there for less than 5 minutes and I was done. My hair wasn’t brush or parted or sprayed down. I walked out with uneven hair and the front wasn’t even touched by the scissors after telling them it was even. I have a picture to prove it. I am not the one to complain at all.

Located in the same place as the Canandaigua Barber Shop with a green HAIR sign near Starbucks and Volunteers of America, Megan cut my hair, she did a good job, she found a style that might work for me. For a guys simple hair cut, the prices there are great. I was on-time for my appointment and was finished in about 20 minutes. I dont mind that Megan didnt talk my ear off either - just like the dentist, I like the service to get done and just disconnect and relax for a bit.

I am new in town and needed a hair cut badly. I found myself at Canandaiga Hair and decidec to give them my business. The shop is clean and everything is in good order. The prices are fair. The next staff member up was Kersten. I told her what I wanted and she delivered. It by far was the best haircut I had in years. I am happy to say Ill be back. Thanks Kersten! she loved it.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER. Done in 3 minutes no offer for a wash or product. No question about part just how much off. I got a straight hack job with window like squares cut out and long pieces that wernt ever touched. I need to pay a real place to have it fixed. Im not picky but this is humiliating. Awful service not even personable. Save your time hack up your hair at home.

I have been there twice and today will be my third time. I always ask for Kendra. She is great at cutting my hair and very nice to talk with. I think its important to have the same person cut your hair every time and she does a super job at making me look good....well she only has so much to work with....This week will be my wedding haircut - wooohooo!!!

Do NOT go here! I was one of five girls who booked an appointment for an up-do and I could NOT have been more displeased. We were running a little late and called the salon to let them know wed be around ten minutes late. Just ten minutes. The woman on the phone said that because we were going to be late, our hair styles were going to have to be simple. How could ten minutes make that difference? Anyway, after showing up at 9:40 instead of 9:30, we were sad to find out that they were ill-equipped to handle us anyway! They were overbooked and understaffed. They handled basic curls adequately, but not any better than the average person. After asking for a simple crown braid, my hair stylist fumbled with my hair, dropping the braid, occasionally cursing in frustration and apologizing for FORTY MINUTES. It was only because we had a time limit that I finally just instructed her to curl my hair, because it was apparently the only thing they could handle. I was so, so disappointed. My hair ended up looking honestly no better than if I had done it at home. The poor bride was struggling with her updo all day, as the clips and braid came loose within an hour! If I was not with a wedding party I would have walked out of there. So disappointing. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR WEDDING PARTY!

Too fast, no real time spent and no offer of shampoo or blowdry or even a style. Back of hair uneven some. But...for a dry cut, it wasnt too bad. Not worth the money, but I understand how and why they work the way they do. However, more quality time should be spent on the customer and not a quicky. Felt like I was in a Jiffy Lube for hair. I would have done a better job myself....as Ive done my own haircuts for 30+ yrs.....thanks to arthritis, I got the Redken experience and I wont be returning.

Rebekah is a serious miracle worker. Being a person that hates getting their haircut, Im glad I trusted her to work her magic. And I mean it was magic! Quick, professional, super nice, and knows whats she is doing. Being from dc- virginia area, this stylist is one of the best. Will be gettimg my hair done with her when Im up visiting again.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the cuts and colors that Christie gave me. The cuts are always even and when she colors my hair, it never looks brassy. My adult son also has Christie cut his hair. He is very picky and he is always happy with his cuts.

Hair stylists are friendly and knowledgeable truly believe they want to make you look your best.

I took my son in to get a gentlemans cut asked their so called barber if he wanted to see picture and was told no he was all set literally 6min later my son was done...it WAS NOT A gentlemans cut by far but at 1st glance looked eh ok I guess... tipped the dude $10 and when I got outside into light I lost my cool... So much so my wife had to take him back in.... You could see clipper imprints Im his hair and it almost looked like he tried to fade it by eye with just a pair of scissors.. And the sad part is he used clippers... And they call themselves professionals.... Never again.... To all you that agree.... MILLSYS BARBERSHOP IS FANTASTIC and great with kids..... AND YOUR LUCKY I EVEN GAVE YOU A STAR but it wouldnt let me post this without rating you.... BLAH

The service is not to bad a lot of the older girls talk about their sex life and other personal topics to there clients. My little daughter heard one of the girls swear very unprofessional. My son had his hair cut from one of the girls with short red hair named Shelby she left lines in his hair one time took him back did the same thing and took his hair line vary far up his neck wasnt pleased,we took him to cost cutters to get his hair fixed. My oldest daughter had her hair cut and styled which she was very please by a girl named Jessica I believe very kind and asked what she wanted done other than doing something she wanted. My husband had his hair cut by a girl named bekah he was very pleased as well, she was very nice to him, he loved having a conversation with her. For my self I wanted a simple hair cut with layers and the lady that cut my hair was megan missed a side of my hair that was not cut at all and was also very concerned with everyone elses lifes and wasnt interested in conversing with me.Their are some people there that do not act professional at all but the ones that do I was very pleased with. Overall great prices and polite.

Went here a total of four times two of those I had the WORST experience and haircut of my life!,... This last time that sparked this review was absolutely awful. The girl Sarah who said as soon as I walked in that she would cut my hair, I think has never cut a mans hair in her life. She acted so unsure of everything she did it was embarrassing. I just wanted to leave as soon as she was a quarter of the way done... Long story short, Ill never go back.

The best salon in Canandaigua for price and service. The stylists are all incredibly talented (two are awarding stylists), friendly, helpful and good looking...if they take care of themselves and have great hair I decided to trust them with mine and I was very pleased! I researched all the salons and Ive been to several other salons but they really are the best. Redken is a great brand and their products are all superior. Thats all they use: Redken. They use the Art of Consulation and they know hair! In all the years Ive had my hair done they taught me things about my hair I never knew and I now use the correct shampoo along with other hair care and styling products. My family and friends loved my new healthy, shiny sexy hair and so do I. Check them out for yourself!
