I was a first time patient and was very pleased with everything from all the staff to the facility. Dr. Charles and staff are genuine good hearted people who take time out of their day to take an interest in their patients. You will not feel like just another number here. They will make you feel more like family. I had very interesting positive conversations with both Dr. Charles and his assistance. I have been recommending them to everyone that I have seen since. I just had 4 bottom back teeth implants put in. The procedure was not painful, and I feel they are the best 4 teeth in my mouth. Dr. Charles is very caring. His staff are great. I would highly recommend him for implants.

I met Dr. Charles in September 2019, when I was researching dental implants. From the first time I entered the office, I felt as if I was among friends. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make me feel like I was the most important person in the office. The front office staff are professional and very nice to talk to. They provide adequate reminders for appt and provide service with a smile. Doc and his assistant are also professional and caring. They are considerate of your needs and do good work. I havent given them 5 stars b/c I havent been there for that long. But I have no doubt that after I get to know the office better, they will earn that last star.

Dr. Germain is fantastic, he removed my 4 wisdom teeth in nearly 10 minutes with just novocain. The only pain I felt was the first pinch of the needle. He is a master extractor! The office is warm and welcoming, the front desk staff always seem upbeat and happy. I have been a patient for almost 2 years and will remain loyal.

I love the energy as soon as you walk in to the office. ALL of the staff are incredible and truly focused on you. Things are clean and you do not have to worry about feeling nervous here. They are even great with kids as I bring my son with me to my appointments and they have books for him and he loves sitting and talking with the staff. When my wife and I moved to this area a few years ago, we never thought we could replace the dentist we were leaving behind, who had been taking care of us for nearly 40 years. We visited several practices in the Canandaigua area and are certainly glad we decided on this one. Dr. Charles and the staff are a great team. All of the treatment we have received so far – from routine cleanings and fillings to wisdom teeth extraction, crowns and implants – has been excellent.UPDATE: Today Dr. Charles finished putting in my two dental implants. The process took longer than I had expected, mostly because I required bone grafts and a separate procedure to clear up a sinus infection and help improve drainage of my sinuses.I didn’t fully understand or appreciate Dr. Charles’ attention to detail until I met with the ear, nose and throat specialist who fixed my sinuses. He told me a few horror stories about people he had treated who had been to other dentists who rushed through the procedure. Apparently, when the jawbone doesn’t have enough mass, the abutment that holds the implant in place can penetrate the sinus cavity and you can be in for a lifetime of chronic, often severe, headaches and other problems.All told, if you’re considering implants, they are definitely worth the time and cost. And it’s not something that can be done in one or two visits – even if you don’t have the existing problems I brought with me. But I would seriously advise you to check out GDAI and talk to Dr. Charles first.

Dr. Charles was able to see me for an aching pain in my tooth that another dentist worked on previously. He discovered that there was a cavity under the existing filling. He discussed my options with me and I was able to make an informed decision on how I wanted him to proceed. He explained everything thoroughly while showing me my x-rays. Dr. Jean Charles was fantastic and so are the rest of his staff! I am one of those who was scared of going to the dentist. I was told for quiet some time that I had a gum disease and I was told by many other doctors that I had to do it in 4 separate visits for a who year, last year back in July 2017, Dr. Jean Charles has changed my mind. He did my full month gum disease treatment in one visit and at the same time extract 3 back teeth that was bad, It was painless, I was able to talk right after the surgery, no excess bleeding, no swelling. He did such a good job I was able to eat the next day. The staff is super friendly and mindful of any of your sensitivity concerns. I love this office and will keep going/referring friends. Dentistry done right! Definitely will recommend their outstanding service to anyone.

I either called and personally went to nearly every dentist in Canandaigua. I have been to dentists ranging from Fulton, Syracuse, Geneva, and Canandaigua. Canandaigua Dental Health is by far the most professional, customer centered technologically advanced dentistry that I have ever been to. Dr. Gagliardi rectified all the errors made in previous dentistry and goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are comfortable regardless of their age. He is the only dentist that I have felt so comfortable with. My family goes there and it is as unlikely as this may sound, a pleasure as you know you are being taken care of by the best.

Just started going to this dentist. Had some cavities filled today. Was impressed when Dr. Gagliardi called me this evening to see how I was doing. Relaxed, clean environment. Regarding another review about the Doctors wife, I found her to be very sociable and genuine... and we were discussing a cosmetic procedure that wouldnt be covered by insurance. The hygienist was very friendly. I would recommend this practice.

The office staff at this Dentist including the Dentist wife, are terrible, and treat you like a second class citizen if you have Child Health Care Plus. They will fill 5 cavities at once when you have this type of insurance. Yes they have state of the art equipment this is true. But they lack in compassion for the patient,it is measured by what kind of insurance you have.So I would say if you have the very best insurance then go here you will be catered to.The Dental Hygenist is Great.

When I arrived at Canandaigua Dental Health I was in a very sad state of affairs. I knew that I had something wrong, but I didnt know how bad it was.I had a cavity between my teeth turn into a jaw infection. Through this I needed to have 2 root canals and 2 crowns placed.On the other side of my mouth I had to have a tooth pulled a few cavities filled.It was a lot of work, and a lot of time in the office chair.Now I have no problems at all with my teeth, I have a smile that I am proud of, and I no longer have to worry.I am very grateful for the care I received at Canandaigua Dental Health, and I would recommend their services.

I was so impressed at all the technolgy that Dr. G has at his office. Dr. G and is staff were able to show me what was in my mouth and make a plan to fix it. They helped make a plan to fit my budget, they helped me work to maximize my insurance and minimize the impact on my pocket book. My mouth is now helthy and my smile looks better than ever. My mom is afraid of the dentist ...well was afraid until she swithced to this office. She used sedation and is happy to also have a healthy new smile.
