It’s a great place to camp and get away if the owner would follow the rules they put in place and stop the little kids from driving golf carts and trying to run people and other kids over. And it would be nice if the owner would change the non working breakers for camper hookups. Ours has been kicking since we rented the spot. The 120 plug doesn’t work and the 30 and 50 amp breaker has melted and turned the prongs black. I had to go buy new cords because of it.

We absolutely loved taking our camper here! The campground host, Joe, is superb and we love the facility. Even though we do not board horses here while we camp, I love hearing and seeing the horses. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is top notch. There are hiking trails right off of the campground and during the summer the campground will also provide things to do such as bands, music, etc.

Great place! We stay here every year. Great place if you have dogs, can walk across street and walk the trails from the Green River State Park. Perfect place if you bring your horse and want to ride the trails.

Tiny Stalls 9x9 or 10 x 10, just remember if you have a big horse. Free shavings is a plus but 2 days of rain they didnt cover shaving pile. Rain runs into stalls. Wet shavings for Wet stalls. but sewer hook ups are good. The Parks trails are good but ran into mountain bikers who very persuasively talked us out of going on a certain trail. You do share trails with them just remember that.

What puts this place over the top is the owner and his family. They go way out of their way to help you out, which they have done several times for me. Plus, they invite all staying there to partake in holiday events. Their large barn has been converted to a gathering place, complete with stage (karaoke and occasional band), balcony, laundry rooms, big screen TV, etc. All 75 sites are full hookup, about half 50 amp. There are 51 horse stalls, with 31 miles os trails at the state park next door. Plus, access to Green River Lake is just down the road. This place is truly special.

My husband and I had a wonderful camp and riding experience at Green River Stables. The stalls were ready with fresh, dry sawdust. No nails sticking out, gates locked well. My horses are 15.1 Quarter Horses weighing in at 1300 lb.ea. They had plenty of room. There are bigger stalls svailable. Our campsite had water, elec, and sewer hookup. All worked well. The riding is very nice. Easy to difficult. We will go back to this campground.

If you stay at this campground be aware that there are no quiet hours. And if you are staying here for Amazon peak this is a big problem. There is music at all hours, of course the weekends are the worst but there could be loud music Tuesday or Thursday nights or at 4:00 in the morning. And what ever you do don’t go to the owners and try to explain what a problem this is for you. Leave on your own term because all they will give you is an eviction notice with 18 hour to get out. If you have to work the next day that’s tuff be out by 1:00 PM. Remember what’s important here is the partying, so what if you aren’t into it and need to get up at 4:00 AM.

I made a reservation 2 months in advance of my arrival to work at Amazon. One week before our arrival, I called the campground to confirm my reservations...Oct 1- Dec 23. The owner confirmed. On Oct 1, I arrived after driving my 40 foot motorhome down a country road about 3 miles. The owner said he was sorry but the camp ground is full. He explained there was a construction crew that had not left due to weather and he was uncertain as to when they would be leaving. He said we may be able to find a spot in another campground and suggested a few places. Consider that Amazon hires a large number of work campers and warns everyone to reserve your space early or you could be driving a long distance to work. You have got to be kidding me! Then we see 3 more people behind us at the gate in the same predicament.I understand things happen but why didnt management have the courtesy to call us and let us know there was a problem, as soon as it was appearent? Even if it would have been the day before, we could have made other plans. Fortunately we arrived early in the day.The Green River Stables campgrounds would probably have been fine for our needs but the unprofessional treatment is not acceptable. If you plan on working at Amazon, do not make plans to stay here unless you have a plan B. They do not honor reservations! We were lucky an got the second to last spot at another campground...I feel sorry for the folks behind us in that line.

Abutting the state park, you can hike or ride right from your RV door. Recently expanded campground has full hookups with 50 amp service, onsite laundry rooms and shower rooms and a campers lounge with big screen tv and karaoke. If you enjoy riding horses or are looking for a place to stay while workamping for Amazon, this is it. The Wise family that run the place are quick to remedy any concerns and offer top-notch facilities. Highly recommended!

Stayed there in 2013. Very nice. Been there several years earlier. It was nice. It was a campground for horses where I could camp and ride my horse. All I ask. Went there again 5/15/2015 and theyve done a lot improvements for the better. Really nice owners. They make you feel like youre in the country. We sat around sometimes on the porch with other campers and just had a great time!!! New stalls are kinda small for bigger horses. Love the fact they have sewer hookups for the campers!! SOOO few have this. They have added more stalls plus more campsites!! We are going back again 4th of July weekend, that is what we think of it:-) They have a large motorhome you can rent or a travel trailer you can rent. That was great for extra family members and not enough sleeping quarters. Very, very reasonable rates. All and in all I would definitely go there again and probably a couple more times this year. We live 1 1/2 hour away. Travel with 2 horses and 4 dogs.
