Well organized and friendly office. Paperwork flowed smoothly throughout the process. Dr. Murakami explained the whole process, (2 injections, 2 weeks apart), and helped ensure the the procedure was covered by insurance. Clean, modern and organized surgical room and recovery area.Follow up calls were made after each procedure. If you need an epidural for back or hip pain due to spinal issues, this is the place to get it. I have nothing negative to share!

I have had carpal tunnel surgery already from a different doctor, and was still experiencing symptoms on that same side as well as the other side now. Dr. Murakami is amazing. I have had 4 major surgeries. Cervical and lumbar multilevel fusions and total knee replacement of both knees. While my neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons were world renown, they were unable to deliver the follow on care to reduce the pain that remained. I had wrist pain for 6 months from a martial arts injury. My wrist had sharp pains when moving it from side to side and it wasnt getting better after bracing it or using ibuprofen. During my first visit with Dr. Murakami, after really listening to me and asking specific questions, she did a very detailed exam. She suspected a triangular fibrocartilage complex tear, and taught me more about this anatomy.  I looked into this and other options included steroid injections and surgery. She proposed we try a dry needling technique, to promote healing to this cartilage.  As a scientist, I was intrigued, and thought why not, it sounded low risk.  She combined acupuncture to my wrist with dry needling to the cartilage.  I wont lie, it hurt (!) but I am happy to report since that single treatment more than 2 years ago, my wrist has been 100% pain free and I am back to teaching martial arts.  I was struggling for a few months with my wrist. However, after Dr. Murakamis treatment my pain rapidly resolved and I was fully healed in a few weeks, eventually regaining my complete motility and strength in my wrist. I have referred colleagues and friends to her and give her my highest recommendation.
