My appointment was at 10AM. I came in at 9:30AM and I was the first one signed in the check-in sheet. By 10:40AM, the staff took someone who came after me in. I asked what happened. The staff said the doctor was still seeing a patient whose appointment at 9AM, and did not put her name on the check-in sheet. So the doctor was seeing one patient from 9AM to 10:40AM? It did not make sense to me. By 11:10AM, they took me in and I had to wait for another 10 minutes before the doctor showed up in. The doctor introduced himself and asked what he could do for me. Hows about an apology for making me wait for 1hr20min without any explanation? After talking to me for few minutes, the doctor wanted to see my MRI film again so he stepped out and since the door was not close completely, I heard him introduced himself to another patient and asked for her name. Few minutes late, he came back and talked to me for few more minutes. Total time he spent with me about 10-12 minutes. Another strange thing is the staff did not sit at the counter in the lobby. They sit in the back behind the walk. You do not see them. They only came out when they need it. I understand that the doctor sometimes has an emergency that need to take care of, but I dont think this is the case since I saw the doctor walking around few times while I was waiting. At least the staff should come out and let the patients know why there was a delay. Sadly, they did nothing. To me, the doctor and staff are not professional at all. I will not come back to this doctor again.

Dr. Hua operated on my wife a year ago, today. She had two bulging disks in her neck and needed a multi-layer disk replacement. Although we were initially apprehensive about the serious nature of the surgery, Dr. Huas wonderful manner and competence put us at ease, and gave us assurance that all would turn out alright. He told us exactly what he was going to do, how it would be done and answered all of our questions, patiently and completely. The operation was done without any problems. It lasted over five hours, and Dr. Hua was able to replace the damaged disks with titanium replacements, that will serve my wife for the rest of her life. The doctor employed a minimally-invasive surgery technique that left an almost unnoticeable dime-sized scar on my wifes neck and aided in her recovery.Dr. Huas after-care was comprehensive, and he was diligent and attentive through the months of physical therapy and rehabilitation. He monitored my wifes progress and sincerely cared about how she was recovering.A year later, my wife feels like she has a new neck! The constant pain and pressure she felt prior to the surgery have gone, and she has full flexibility in the area.Thank you Dr. Hua for your skill, dedication and care. We will forever be grateful to you and your team!
