Was happy to find a place that is able to fit you in with a doctor even if they already have a full schedule. I was a new patient and needed help immediately with an eye issue and they fit me in the same day with one of their doctors - and they are extremely nice and very helpful!

What a life changing experience this has been for me. A little over 6 months ago I came to doctor Hyunh with Petergyium and an underlying health condition which made my eye look sick. Post surgery the procedure was a complete success with recovered healthy looking eyes. I saw Dr Huynh and let me just say how phenomenal I felt after leaving. He was able to diagnose something that I have been suffering from for years that I was told was just migraines within 5 minutes of seeing me. When he explained, it hit the nail on the head. He was kind, professional, and is very good at his job. I would recommend him 1000 times over. My other specialist also highly praised him when I told her I was working with Dr Huynh she was very pleased and told me he was great. The best ophthalmologist visit and one of the best health visits Ive ever had. I felt truly cared for and heard regarding an issue id been having for years regarding blepharitis and eye problems. The nurse was so helpful and they have very advanced technology to check all aspects of your eyes. Brianne is one of the best practitioners Ive seen. She is competent and knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to me and was able to improve the eye issue Ive been struggling with for a few years now. Could not ask for better care. The office staff was courteous and considerate, getting me in quickly. The exam was very thorough and Brianna took care to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I received a prescription and samples of medications needed, along with a GoodRx coupon to help with prescription costs. A follow-up appointment was scheduled and Ive already received a phone call reminding me of that appointment. The entire staff gets an A+ or 10 stars if I could.

Everyone was so professional yet friendly, including Dr. Ragan. I especially appreciated that Dr. Ragan uses latest state-of-art equipment, which meant my eyes were not dilated!! He was more than willing to answer any questions I had. I was able to get another appt the same week to check my prescription glasses (my eyes were dilated my first visit so we couldnt check then).

Dr Regan resolved my problem in one visit. quickly, efficiently, effectively and professionally. My sight improved 100% in one visit.

I was so pleased with my visit to Ventura Eye Institute that Ive already told my friends and family theres no better place to go with concerns or questions about your vision. I saw Dr. Reagan about an eyelid that occluded my right eye, and he mentioned the lump on the eyelid should come off right away, scheduling surgery the following morning, before his office even opened that day. It turned out to be cancerous. Other doctors Id seen offered to remove the lump as a cosmetic surgery. I’m so impressed with Dr. Reagan, that I’ve already scheduled an appointment to talk to him about my cataracts. My sister, who lives in Wisconsin, is also looking forward to flying out and having Dr. Reagan exam her eyes and possibly help her improve her vision.Dr. Reagan is absolutely the best of ophthalmologist anywhere and regardless of where I call home, he’ll remain my ophthalmologist. Right now, I’m just incredibly lucky that he works in Ventura County, where I live.Besides Dr. Reagan, his entire staff is incredible. When I went to make my first appointment, I was stunned how easy it was to do online. I was able to see all available times and schedule the time the worked best for me. The best part is there were times available the following day. I was actually able to see Dr. Reagan the day after I scheduled the appointment. As soon as I scheduled the appointment, the office called to make sure I knew where they were located and the offered to email the paperwork to fill out prior to arriving, which I appreciated. When I arrived at the office, I was greeted by a very kind receptionist, who took the paperwork I’d filled in. I was quickly taken back to see Dr. Reagan by his nurse, who is also quite kind. When I left Ventura Eye Institute, knowing I’d be having surgery in the morning to remove my eyelid lump, I only wish I hadn’t waited so long before making an appointment. I was afflicted with shingles. My Primary Care dr. Prescribed the wrong meds and it was spreading close to my eye. I was so very grateful Dr. performed tests and changed my prescriptions and shingles cleared up and optic nerve unaffected. Also he discovered I needed cataract surgery.
