I’m the guest of a PF Black Card® members (who receive additional benefits, including the ability to bring a guest for free!!!!)I came several times these last few days and I can tell that it’s vey clean. Lots of equipment and amenities, the staff is super nice ! I can’t wait to go back!

Ive only been a member of Planet Fitness for a short time. The place is amazing!!! Always clean. Lots of equipment!!! Glad to be a member.

I absolutely love this gym. Its never overcrowded & my favorite workout machine is always available. The staff is always friendly & helpful.

Gym location itself is bad but staff could be a bit rude or abrasive. Had to cancel during an injury and months later I still cant despite being told I could by doing various requests. Will be submitting a stop ACH form to prevent future payments and will likely have to end up dealing with collections since I was never able to get my issue resolved

2 days ago I gave 3 stars because noone is perfect and gives something to move up to. Today I came in with my sister and was told we couldnt be next to each other on the equipment. Was told they couldnt stop us but if manager walked in HE would come over and tell us to move etc. Not a happy place right now. Both fully vaccinated and wearing our masks. Dont need to social distance from family

So I enter this gym which due to present Hysteria, is currently deserted. The staff however made a point of interrupting my 4th mile while I was running 6+ mph on a treadmill to let me know I have to cover my face with a mask while Im breathing heavily. Are you serious? I have to cover my airways when Im taking in the most oxygen? You want me to replace oxygen with toxic exhalation from burning calories at running speeds? Do you have any clue as to how bad that is for your health? The staff member who also was standing next to a sign that says, no critics told me if I have a medical condition I should come over to the desk and let them know. (Like its any of your business what medical conditions I have). I promise you the staff member who apparently, never runs, doesnt need to know my personal information. I will return to this location and I will not be discriminated against. I dont have coronavirus, so how can I spread a disease I dont have? Especially in a building with almost no one in it? Is this company making money by turning away business? Is this what the cares act is for? Btw, a mask doesnt stop me from sweating and farting on everything I use. Real intelligent.

Clean affordable friendly staff great equipment and amenities give these guys your time and they will get you results ! At $23.00 a month you cant go wrong you can even bring a friend for free whats there to lose?

I paid for a year upfront for Planet Fitness in Camarillo before the pandemic. I have contacted them three or four times before they closed it down permanently and I asked them if they can refund my $300 plus membership fee since I cannot go there and I have to get a membership to another gym that is actually open and hasnt gone under. To this day I still have not received any kind of response that is relevant the reimbursement for my $300 plus membership paid in advance. I am very disappointed especially because of the fact they did not even acknowledge or try to respond in any way shape or form to my numerous requests to receive my membership fee back. I am sure I am not the only one it is asking the same question.

IMPRESSIVE !!! I visited PF last Friday, after my workout I once again observed the showers and toilets being cleaned, this time by Teddy(Manager). Hats off to you Teddy , leading by example and getting it done. When was the last time you saw a manager actually putting in hard work ? In my 42 years of working out at many different gyms, PF definitely stands above the rest. This gym runs a tight operations, from friendly greeting to frequent walk throughs around the gym, making sure equipment is clean and operational. I love this gym. It is very clean, goodequipment, friendly people. I love going on the treadmill and watching so many TVs. The massage chair afterwards is the bomb.

My gf and I decided to check this location out and was going to sign up for a membership. Knowing that there is a pandemic and the operation is compromised, we were still open-minded. We arrive at the location and the person working at the front desk told us that we had to wait outside until 2 people left because they were at full capacity. We couldnt even sign up for a membership until 2 people left. At least have a sign outside the door letting newcomers know what to expect or even reserve a spot for a certain time frame, so that way, people dont waste their time driving there to only find out that you have to wait until who knows when youre able to go inside! Might as well go back to being closed....its almost the same thing! Home gym....here we come!!!!

Great place to start a new fitness routine if you are new to working out. The whole place caters to new gym goers. You receive complimentary small group training and a personal trainer that will design a personal workout for you. Optional tanning and massage upgrades available. Absolutely the cleanest club in town. Get started for less than that Happy Meal your considering. Tell them Tim sent you!

This is my favorite PF location. Much cleaner and less crowded than Oxnard. I drive out of my way to come here instead. The gym is nice and quiet and i actually like the lower lights (unlike some complaints on here)I just recently upgraded to PF Black Card so im excited to try the hydro massage because it looks far more inviting at this location.

This is one of the best planet fitness I’ve ever came across. I am a travel ER tech so I’ve been up and down these roads. traveling to different locations and I visited most of the planet fitnesses and I must say by far this secluded Gym is amazing. clean, neat, and not to busy so you could get a real good workout in but whats really great about this club is the staff everyone is so friendly and helpful the manager Christal is always there to answer what ever question you need. even if she’s busy she will step from behind the counter to show you how to use the equipment properly. This gym is 6 stars in my book.....

The best gym in town! They are ready to help you with anything that they can! I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the team behind the counter!! Nova, Destiny & Herbert are the greatest employees there! They are always ready to greet you with a friendly smile and a welcoming attitude! However my only reason for giving this place a 3 is due to their poor management!! Most of the times I come in the manager is straight talking down to the employees! Its okay to be a manager, to do things according to your policies but treat your employees right!!!

I love this gym! Not only do they offer reasonable membership rates but the hydro massage is heavenly to. This offers balance to my workout routine that I cant seem to find anywhere else. Thank you Planet Fitness, keep up the good work.

This is the worst Planet fitness I have ever been to. First off you can barely hear the music the lights are so dim it feels like a dungeon. And dont make a sound cause theyll ask you to be quiet it is worse then a library. I will never go back to this location and would cancel my membership if this was the gym I had to go to. Planet fitness should really look at this location cause it is horrible.

Amazing employees, helpful, clean facility great atmosphere

Love this location everything is well maintained and very clean. The staff for the most part is extremely friendly and so is the trainer she is very insightful and well educated. My only issue is with the management Crystal she is so rude and speaks to her staff so very disrespectful. She needs a huge reality check and to find out that employees and customers are the only reason she has a job.

Its my gym. At $22 per month for their top level membership, Planet Fitness is one of the best deals in the history of deals. I look forward for them to someday franchise their way into Ventura. I cannot express my gratitude more for the came that Planet provides me .

Clean, and fun environment

Enjoying this gym so far. The equipment is nice and clean. The employees are friendly. I like that its open 24/7, super convenient for my schedule. I like that I can go there and feel like I can focus on my workout. There are multiples of the same machines so you dont have to wait around for someone to finish their workout before you can use the equipment next. And of course you cant beat the price! Overall two thumbs up!

So I walked into planet fitness with my black card , the women asked me do you know about the time limit- I have gone to over 20 locations because I travel and never heard of such thing. I was told I have a 10 minute time limit and after the time limit is up Im going to be charged $5 every 10 months after that. Ive read the terms and conditions and it states NO WHERE of this. What the f is the point of a black card if Im not allowed in without paying extra. The funny thing is that I checked in earlier that day with a different staff member and it wasnt a problem.

PF is my gym, its open 24/7 good environment friendly staff the gym is kept clean. Equipment is kept clean and in working order

The staff is amazing! The place is so clean the but the only manager there is the RUDEST lady I have ever met. She is the worst. I mean like she is inhumane. She walks away as customers are talking to her, she is disgusting and terrible and she has no respect for people. I don’t think she understands she only has a job because of the customers/members..Not to mention she ya absolutely NOOO respect for those in the military who serve. It is disgusting! Someone needs to do something about this. I’ve tried to contact corporate multiple times. Everyone complains about her.. EVEN the employees

These guys aren’t enforcing the local ordinances to prevent Covid 19 spread...gym members are running around with no masks or the masks around their chins not covering their mouth and nose...I’m considering cancelling if they don’t get their stuff together

UPDATE (NEXT DAY - 2nd visit)While checking in today I was informed that the black card membership allows you to attend ONLY 10 times per month at a visiting Planet Fitness (that isnt your home gym). I was not aware of this and probably wouldnt have joined the gym if I knew. I often travel for work and joined PF as a black card member so I could use all of their gyms. Im pretty disappointed.FIRST VISIT @ THIS PF:I was hesitant to use this facility while traveling due to a review about having issues going to this gym using their black card membership.I must say, my experience was completely opposite. The staff scanned my app and wished me a great workout with no further questions asked. The staff were very nice. The gym was clean, not crowded and very cool. My home gym is sometimes a little warm, so I appreciated the cooler temperature. I loved that they have a hand sanitizer near the exit/entrance. Little touches like that are nice. I highly recommend this gym for out-of-town black card members or anyone who lives nearby.

Amazingly clean environment. Staffs are friendly. Membership is low rate compare to other gyms. Less people no crowd. When you want to work on machine, there is always available.

I love everything about this gym. Its super clean which is a big deal for me. The staff is wonderful, Sadie is super helpful at the front counter. Plus tanning and massage tables and chairs AND the total body engancement is amazing.So glad i joined.

My gf works out at this gym and is happy but will move to my gym once her membership expires.

I like this gym. To bad my home gym is still closed. But this gym is always very clean specially the restrooms. Its smaller than my home gym but Its usually not packed!

Great enviroment where you can get a good workout and assistance as needed from the staff. Very affordable fees and accessible staff.

My best friends membership was cancelled today because a group of us were working out together. Apparently we were taking up space in the gym we all pay money to attend and because were in a group he was training us. We will all be cancelling our memberships because thats a horrible way to run a business. We go as a group to keep each other motivated. That friend was the only reason we all signed up for Planet Fitness and have remained members for years! I know it wont make a difference for their business to lose a few people but Ill make sure to let anyone whos looking for a recommendation know that this gym has bad business practices and doesnt respect its own members.Edit: As requested below I contacted the number and I spoke to an assistant manager who said they couldnt help me and I would have to wait until next week to speak to the regional manager. She offered me an email to contact the regional and I said that was unnecessary, well be going in today to cancel. I dont understand why I have to put in the work to fix their mistake. We just want to get back to working out so well be joining Fitness 19 so we can stay on track with our progress.

Good size PF. Equipment was in good conditionx but sadly missing Hammer Strength equipment.

$22/mo membership fees give you 24hr/7d a week access to all their equipment including massage chairs, hydrobeds, tanning booths and exercise equipment. The only drawback to this gym is there are no real classes (spinning, Zuma,etc).

I love going to this gym. I used to go to 24 hour but it was so crowded. Its not as packed and just more calm.

I only enjoy this gym late at night after all the weirdos and low-class people have left. I took some time off from working out only to return to some odd behavior by people in this place. The $10 a month gets you the people who can only afford that.... so you arent working out with top-notch folk. Instead you will find things like people using the locker room as their bedroom (blasting music on a Bluetooth speaker, taking up the benches with ALL of their belongings, etc.). I mean, no gymtimidation but this sort of behavior that makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable in the locker room is okay? You will also encounter snotty young women who think that own the machines. That was my experience today. Two friends were taking up 4 machines in some sort of rotation, so I hopped on one which REALLY upset them. They proceeded to spend the next five minutes talking rudely about me not realizing that even though I had earbuds in there was no music playing and I could hear them. After bashing me for five minutes they went on to do something else and didnt even bother to clean their sweat off of the 3 other machines they were using. Again...people using the place like its theirs and they own it. This made me uncomfortable and feel bad about myself. I find this to be VERY intimidating behavior.... What it comes down to in the end is this is a low-end facility with low-end prices that attracts low-end people. I feel way more comfortable at LA Fitness. The staff should post signs and work to improve this sort of behavior from people. Im cancelling next month.

Good gym for people who are not super athletic. Its a low stress gym.

Poor managementAn old creepy dude was staring and following my female friend around the gym, just sitting on equipment and not even exercising (every gym has them), she notified me that she felt uncomfortable so I began staring at him until he noticed me and said Im not staring at her ... I said lol, OK, please go away then, youre making her uncomfortable, go away and went back to my workout.Apparently the old man got paranoid and went up to the front desk and said she shouldnt be dressed like that and tried to say I threatened him. My friend has never had a planet fitness employee comment on her outfit and if it was an issue, the managers at over 7 planet fitness locations that weve been to in several states must not know how to properly train their employees to identify what outfits are acceptable.Anyway... its pretty obvious that he went up to managment first because he was afraid of getting in trouble. I wasnt even going to say anything to managment because the situation was already handled. The manager, Crystal, defended him because hes quiet and been a member here for awhile. The old man then grabbed my arm, in front of the manager and he said look at my hair, Im 70 years old ... I said dont touch me, I didnt touch you, did I? And the manager said I dont appreciate the way youre talking to him ... I got her name, bit my tongue and walked out the door.We all know Planet Fitness sucks, but when managment doesnt address these problems appropriately, it creates an uncomfortable environment ... so much for No Judgement Zone.Skip this location, worth the drive to a different one.

Been coming here for 2 years and the atmosphere has changed.The manager is good people.The rest of the staff come and go.Due to this gym only costing 10 to 20 dollars a month it will attract a certain demographic.So called personal trainers abuse this location due to its price and fish for clients and or take up equipment while posing in the mirror to lure clients in.Its pretty annoying as theres only so much equipment to use.Everyone starts somewhere , so I will say this is a good gym for a beginner. Its clean and the machines are in working orderJust toss in those earbuds and ignore the ones who talk way loud on the phone while walking on treadmills or the kids who screw around on the smiths. Also the large majority who lacks common courtesy.( people who dont clean up after themselves)So yeah, the current staff besides the manager dosent enforce any of the policies.

So ,lol...it was around 5:45 a.m today , Im a black card member with a friend and we drive trucks, decided to stop at this gym just for a quick shower sometimes I work out and sometimes I dont, the little petite young woman with the tan went straight in saying we can only come to this facility 10 times in a month, I laughed in my head whatever and we proceeded on, as my friend left out a couple minutes in front of me, he told me she stopped him and asked were we leaving together or sperate🤨and started being nosy, NOW, I travel all over and go to many Planet Fitnesses with ABSOLUTELY no problem, WHY is this happening?!!!! This need fixing asap before it becomes a big issue!!!!!

Dont consider it a gym...especially since they serve pizza every month...and Im basically getting kicked out for dress code laws cutoffs planet fitness is a joke. Unless you dont care about strick rules I really dont recommend

Sadie is my girl and she’s super friendly, not the fake friendly, genuinely friendly. The gym is clean and kind of busy between the hours of 3pm-8pm but it’s not that packed.

Having been a Planet Fitness member in New York, I was looking to possibly join the one in Camarillo. So I went there for a tour. The young man that gave me a tour was very friendly and informative. There are some differences between the locations. Both were clean and well kept.The one in NY had a tv screen on every piece of moving equipment, whereas Camarillo has neighborhood tvs in the air which you can listen to on the equipment. And maybe because it was multi-level instead of one large area, the layout in NY seemed roomier.But none of these were a deal-breaker. It wasnt until I was told that if I want the $10 plan there were no fees or commitments, BUT if I signed up for the Black Card ($20 plan), you needed to be in a contract (W/ monetary penalty for leaving early); and there is a yearly charge in addition to the monthly charge. Now, I was a black card member in New York and they didnt have either one of those additional costs? I looked it up online and I guess each individual location is allowed to have its own rules on this part.But it was enough for me to politely thank them and leave.
