Im not going to say its a bad pharmacy because I know they get very busy at times. But no matter what time of the day it is I call and get connected to speak to a pharmacy associate they never ever pick up the phone I understand theyre busy and I understand theres hold times but theres times I am waited over a half an hour multiple times and they just dont seem to pick up the phone. Extremely irritating

The pharmacy staff is extremely rude. I called about a prescription. I was on hold for 8 minutes. When she finally answered she asked me why I didnt refill on the app. The app wouldnt let me, otherwise I wouldnt have called. When I told her that and the prescription, she just said ok and HUNG UP! No goodbye, no approximate time it would be ready, nothing. Completely unnecessary.

Awful. The pharmacist treated us like drug addicts. My husband takes prescriptions for ADHD and because of Memorial Day he had to get it a day earlier. It’s been a headache trying to get these meds. The pharmacist told us yesterday to call him this morning and he’d get it together. So this morning we called at 8. We’re here now and he told us we should’ve called, once I told him that we did. He continued to make us feel like we’re at fault. We waited an hour to pick up the meds, apparently he needed two. So he compromised on us waiting another 30 min in the parking lot to then go inside to wait in line to get meds that should’ve been ready. Not to mention I let this man know that I have work at 10. We’re switching pharmacy’s.

This pharmacy had mothers with children, seniors, adults coming in to shop but has no bathroom facility for their customers. I asked to use the bathroom and they said its not open to the public . I am spending money here but I am not considered a customer but a public individual loitering I guess.I use the Cvs in Munster also, the bathroom is clearly marked and welcoming. You dont have to ask or take permission. It is provided for the use of the customer.I wonder if bathroom privileges are zip code specific.I guess I will have to transfer my shopping and prescriptions to a pharmacy that is sensitive to the needs of their customers who are especially female and moms with children

I’m very surprised to read some of the reviews from this location. I’ve never had a negative experience. In fact, I wanted to leave a review to commend them on their exceptional service. The 3 pharmacists (and techs) I have dealt with have given me great service and attention. They are always very busy but that doesn’t stop them from being helpful, polite, friendly and taking the time to answer any questions I’ve had. I’ve used them quite a bit for my son’s frequent medication and it’s always been the same exceptional service. They have quickly followed up with the doctor at times when medication was not covered and did it all with a smile. Additionally, whenever I have called, I’ve never had to wait long for someone to answer. In store and the drive thru is not bad either despite them being so busy. I’ve never gotten an attitude from anyone (which I can’t say about other locations and pharmacies) even at their peak times. Great job Cal City CVS!!

CVS is the worst pharmacy that I have had to use in my entire adult life. They have you on hold for an unacceptable amount of time. Its just sad how they treat their customers. So far I have been on how for more than 30 minutes and no one bothers to come to the phone to say anything....thats common courtesy. Then, when they do decide to come to the phone the females are rude and very unprofessional to the point that they will hang up the phone on you. But, I bet you if they lose a jobs their will change that tune quickly.SignedShocked and Dismays Value Customers....

Every single month I have to give my discount code to receive the correct pricing. Last month I sat in the drive through for 30 minutes while the young lady supposedly removed all insurance information, and only left my discount code. Today I go in, and I was quoted the cash price without the discount, which meant that I had to wait another 10 minutes for the tech to reenter the SAME INFORMATION that I give every month. Im so disgusted with the service that I am looking for an online pharmacy.

This ENTIRE STORE is FILTHY!!!! How in the hell is it still open? Better yet, why do I constantly return to this or any other CVS? Simple, but I will not reveal it.Let’s start with the pharmacy at this location -1. It’s EXTREMELY dirty.2. As the pharmacist on duty, Yanni, assisted patients, he continuously rubbed his nose as if it were runny AND scratched his hair.-Wouldn’t both actions present a health hazard?-Shouldn’t they wear hair nets? If you’re in a fast food joint, hair can simply fall into your food, and follicles can very easily do the same. The Store -1. Disgusting!!!!!-The cooler is ungodly! I reached for 2 drinks and both were covered with stickiness-Food on the cooler floor below the drinks-Spillage on the cooler drink racks-Trash on the floor of the isles-Shelves filled with extreme dust and dirt balls-Parking lot filled with trash including the pharmacy drive through2. Food all over the floors!-popcorn kernels near the photo counter and on the floor, as well as the front registerI’m more than certain this store has a rodent problem. If you don’t think enough of your customers to allocate hours necessary to clean, how do you expect to grow? I get it, rely on the closing of local pharmacies such as Fagen.

I am a physician at the University of Chicago. Tried to call a prescription for pain medication for my patient who ran out of his medication late in the evening. The pharmacist, Urvish, told me that he does not have any pain medications in stock and refused to take my order over the phone. He did not even ask me for a DEA or other identifying information. He told me he that had a gut feeling I was not a doctor.Well, after my phone call to CVS headquarters his gut feeling improved and he took my order.I am appalled that CVS hires and retains pharmacists like that. A totally unprofessional, rude conduct. He wouldnt even apologize for his conduct.
