The staff has been great. everything inside the office seems clean and sterilized. I have not had an issues until today 9-13/2021. I left a message over the weekend - I stated exactly what I needed and the young lady that returned my call had an attitude. Im not sure if my message was listened to because I did not need a return call. I wonder how management could assign this person to return calls because Im sure they are aware of her demeanor....very rude - short - put me on mute several times - totally unprofessional.

My appointment was at 10:00am and I was not seen until 10:20 and had to be at work before 11:00am. It does not take until 10:40 for the orthodontist to check my teeth and adjust my wire. Every time when I am there for an appointment, the receptionist has an attitude and has a smart remark. I do not appreciate someone having an attitude every time I walk in there and I have been coming to this office for years and she has not changed. Also when calling either no one answer the phone or the receptionist with the lashes has an attitude.

Every time I go to this the dentist is a great experience with Dental Works. Dr. Rezowski is my Orthodontist and I have to admit it so far he is doing an amazing job. I see progress already with my teeth since I started my journey with braces!

Cheryl (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) is the best hygienist. She’s gentle and very thorough. I have very sensitive teeth and she’s always understanding and accommodating to my issue.

I truly like my hygienist she’s wonderful and does a wonderful job….also the Dentists are highly skilled and very personable. Good atmosphere.

Everyone is great and helpful. They show they really care. I feel very comfortable there.

Not sure about other locations but Rivercrest location has great workers with fast And friendly service. Never had a issue and everyone is very helpful

My dental visit was great! I inquired about the cleanliness of the treatment area, and was confident that it was safe. I value the staff and their excellent skills - knowing that Ive had excellent t care. Im thankful that I am in great health care.My visit with the hygienist was great!. She was meticulous and thorough with my care.However, my payment process left me frustrated, as I am insured with delta dental, but the payment clerk had difficulty finding my insurer and as a result contacted the incorrect phone number where as no record of my insurance was found- and I had to pay full price for the service , as well as the monthly premium. Hopefully, this will be straightened out at my next visit, as I returned home to print out the coverage and expect a refund, as I have no deductible.

I must say visiting this office has been the worst experience I ever received from a dentist office. I went here for the first time and the staff was pretty nice and accommodating however, when the Dentist, suggested that I get a deep cleaning I refused due to financial issues. She told me that she would not do a regular cleaning on me and I could go another dentist office to get the regular cleaning done because she recommended a deep cleaning and not a regular cleaning.I took her advice and went to another provider who would do the regular cleaning. I requested for my X-rays from DentalWorks (River Oaks) this business never answered the phone (I called multiple times on different days). I had to call Tinley Park location just to get in contact with someone at the River Oaks location regarding my X-rays. The Tinley Park location contacted the River Oaks location and they were not able to get in contact with them either so they left them an email on my behalf and I still haven’t heard anything from them.So I decided to physically go to DentalWork (River Oaks location), the information on the website states that they close at 7:00pm on Tuesdays but they were closed at 5:00pm. So DentalWorks if you’re checking these reviews please give me a call because I am trying to obtain my X-rays. Thanks Linda Gordon

Been here for my braces and always have a great experience with the dental assistants & orthodontist. However; I do feel the front desk lady needs a little more work on her customer service. I will also say that sometimes it’s very hard to get ahold of them.

Google does not allow you to leave multiple reviews with the same account so I am coming to you from a second account.It has been over a month ago since I composed my first review, and I am nothing short of disappointed with the results. Shortly after I posted my review Dental Works Corporate offices attempted to contact me, unfortunately their call was missed but not without a voicemail advising me to call them back. Like I mentioned that phone call was about a month ago and I have been calling back regularly with no answer what so ever. It has been a month full of dental appointments that have presented an extensive and expensive road to correct the problems that Dental Works has put upon me. I am writing this second review for two reasons, one is because I am left for dead and this is the only way to get the attention of Dental Works. Reason two is because as mentioned I have even more updated information about my terrible dental situation. Let me go into specifics on just how poorly they left my teeth, just in case any of the people who even touched my teeth can fully realize what they did to me. I am fully convinced that everyone in that establishment had no clue what they were/are doing. Where should I start? How about the fact that Dental works had neglected 2 baby teeth that should have been removed, before my braces the three times they put them on me, are now rotting and have to be pulled. In their place, extremely expensive implants are to be placed, which could have been resolved in a different way if Dental Works did their job correctly. Secondly Dental Works has ruined my bite, so badly that when I bite down my teeth touch in such a way that it causes spacing on my top teeth. Lastly, because Dental Works could not do their job the first time, second time, or third time and had me in braces 3 times my teeth are beyond sensitive to the point where I am using prescribed toothpaste to aid me with that pain. Next month I have an appointment to get braces on at an establishment I already trust way more than Dental Works. That means because of Dental Works I am going to be getting braces for the fourth time this spring for 2 years, because of Dental Works I have been dealing with my teeths issues for eight years of my life. I am ready for it all to end. Dental Works needs to get back to me as soon as possible, because it is way overdue on their part.- Kosta Nicolaou

2014- The first time Dental Works put my braces on.2016- First time braces were taken off.2016- A couple months later the first problem was found, resulting in having to put braces on for the second time.2016- By December the braces were taken off for the second time.2017- Dental Works gave us the green light to go ahead and get the implant. Traveled down to Indianapolis to get the implant, took multiple x- rays and was given the local anesthetic, just to be told that Dental Works did not leave enough room. The second problem was discovered, therefore I was rejected for the implant.2017- Because Dental Works did not leave enough space for an implant, I had to put braces on for the third time. (late october, early november)2018- Braces were taken off for the third time.2018/2019- We went to a consultation/ appointment for the implant thinking that after my third time in braces that Dental Works got it right this time… they did not. Was advised to put on braces for the fourth time.2021- Dental Works has messed my teeth up so badly, that I have to get braces for my Fourth time, and I am considered a tricky case.First things first, if I could give Dental Works a zero I would.We started our braces journey off with our insurance company at the time referring us to Dental Works… one of the worst mistakes we ever made. We were extremely loyal customers, when it came to showing up to each and every appointment, we showed up on time and were very respectful. I do not know if I could say that about Dental Works staff, they were very moody every time we came in there, and gave off the energy that we were wasting their time. In our long and depressing time at Dental Works, for some reason they cycled through 3 different orthodontists, obviously neither of the 3 should have been given a license/job to begin with, especially the second one who was there for the majority of this disastrous process, and was the ringleader of all the mistakes that surfaced today. I can not even begin to express how poor Dental Works left my teeth, I can truly say that I left Dental Works with more problems with my teeth than when I walked in there. These are my teeth, you dont mess with someones teeth, teeth are so important not only to health but for confidence, Dental Works has completely taken away any chance for me to feel confident about my teeth. I have gone to about 4-5 other dentists/orthodontists and each time I visited one they have informed me about something new Dental Works did to mess up my teeth, which has given me an anxiety to visit anywhere that has to do with dentistry that I did not have before Dental Works. Due to Dental Works horrible services, my family and I are having to Spend A LOT of money to try to fix Dental Works Mistakes, I expect compensation for everything they have put me through. One thing I also found very uncanny, is that there was no way to contact Dental Works Corporation. I had called Dental Works to see if the corporation had an email or a phone number, but the rude lady at the front desk gave me no help. She said that she would leave my name and number down and the “head of orthodontics” would get back to me later that day…. Its been 4 days, I doubt she even put my information down. If you are ever considering going to Dental Works think twice, step back and read my 8 year story of how dental works ruined my teeth and my life.

Dr. Raj is the best dentist out here!!!!! He will walk/talk you through the entire process to ensure a comfortable experience. I went in for a bridge and came out looking like I had veneers!!! I instantly came to tears when I saw my new smile 😁 I am forever grateful and blessed🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Dental Works River Oaks was excellent, each one of the staff was excellent, the building was clean, the patient rooms were very clean, and everyone participated in wearing there face mask, and social distancing. Overall it was a safe experience.

As always there was no long wait to be attended to, and they had in place Covid19 precautions and survey to be completed by all. I love the lady who does my cleaning, she always makes my visit pleasant and comfortable.The only issue was the payment system wasnt accepting debit or credit cards so I had to use cash..

I was very happy with the service I received at DentalWorks River Oaks today. I had to have the last 12 teeth I had removed and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Missy was so kind and caring and made me feel very comfortable as I was getting ready to be put under for the surgery. Erica was also kind and caring. Having such a surgery they made me feel at ease and comfortable. I definitely would recommend this DentalWorks to others for how great Missy and Erica were to me.

Dr. Rajpara is one the best dentists I’ve ever been treated by. Actually, he may be the best due to his excellent compassionate and professional skills. I had an extreme bad experience when I was 18yrs old and had not returned to the dentist for over 29yrs. When I went to Dental Works and told them my experience, they did everything to prevent any future bad experiences. Now, I appreciate the staff as they make EVERY visit a pleasant experience. I love going to this dentist office. As soon as I walk in all of the receptionist make me feel like family. I am greeted by name and my wait is never long. Majority of the dental assistants are pretty cool and help you feel relaxed. Especially me because I get a bit worried when it comes to dental work. Cheryl the hygienist is the best. I love that they offer a wide range of services in-house as, I am currently getting braces. They are transforming my smile one tooth at a time while keeping my mouth healthy :D

It’s extremely hard to get a hold of anybody there, the secretaries at the desk rather talk than assist customers. If it wasn’t for the fact my sons has braces there I would not return, I would suggest finding else where for your dental needs

My family has been with Dental Works for over 2 years, the whole office is warm and friendly. Dr. Guloy is the greatest Orthodontist and price of braces so much more affordable than private practice. 10 years ago my sons braces cost me $5000 last year my daughters braces were only $3000. They also work well with patients who do not like dental experience. Kudos to the whole team!

Well I can tell you I had root canal‘s done before and they hurt when it was done. But this time I had a root canal done and it was absolutely painless great job by the dentist and the staff I would recommend if you need a root canal go there. I would highly recommend this place. Great job.

I had an appointment for 10am to get my wisdom teeth removed and due to a scheduling error, I wasnt seen until after 11. This was my second appointment to get my wisdom teeth out, my previous time there I was waiting for almost 3 hours and had to leave. I think they over schedule for oral surgery because I was told two other people also had appointments for oral surgery at 10am but theres only one oral surgeon??? I still give my experience 4 stars because the staff at this office are wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly and accomodating. I was pretty nervous to have the oral surgery and everyone was so nice and comforting and really made me feel better. I would just suggest that they work on the scheduling

I have been calling for several weeks and left numerous messages with no answer, however when I called the Crestwood location of which they quickly answered and informed me River oaks is opened. Ever since switch of front desk staff it has been almost impossible to get an appointment.

The Dental Hygienists do excellent work and are always so very nice and professional and I love the friendly nature of the majority of the staff. On the other hand I believe the receptionist may be new. She doesnt seem as friendly and professional as the rest of the staff, but maybe with some additional customer service training she will catch on quickly. She seems just a tad bit impatient with questions from patients and it a bit of a smart aleck in my opinion, but overall when it comes to the real dental work, the Dentists and Dental Hygienists here are top notch.

I almost left the dental office once I started to register my son in the front desk. The young lady was very unkind and for some reason was upset because I didnt answer my calls they sent. That is not a reason to treat anyone like she did. The reason I didnt call was because I was coming in. It said to call if I was not able to keep my appointment. She was not friendly at all.

Dental Works is an absolute SCAM. In December of last yr, 2017 I went to dental works because of pain around my gum line. They told me that I needed a consultation with a specialist. I scheduled the consultation and it was at that time I was told I needed a gum graft. The manager at the Calumet City location came in to discuss the payment. She told me she checked my insurance and it covered 2 gum grafts a yr I needed 3. She encouraged me to get it done the evening since it was the end of the year and she stopped the dental specialists from going home to do the procedure. I was told I only needed to pay my deductible for the ONE gum graft that was done that night. After the procedure Dental Works left the sutures in my mouth for over a month leaving my susceptible to infection. Despite my calling to have them removed they told me they would dissolve on their own that never happened. Then they billed me for the One gum graft I received after telling me it was completely covered by my insurance. The manager at the Calumet City location said she knew if she had not told me it was covered by my insurance I would not have gotten the procedure. This is the scam they pull to get you to get procedures you wouldnt agree too. I put braces on my sons teeth at Dental Work and paid for them ahead of time. I wish I had NOTHING to do with this company.

The cleaning are great the customer service and billing is very bad. 2 years in a row I was inconvenienced due to over scheduling. When I was finished with my cleaning they ran out of free toothpaste and floss

My hygienist is the bomb if wasnt for her i would give less stars the front desk are usually rude most of the time they have an attitude and over the phone is even worst if you have to reschedule they dont have apt available around your schedule till like 2 months sometimes also they do not try to work with you to schedule you for the apt unless yo keep insisting this has happened to me in 3 different occasions when they will say yeah we dont have any apt for that day we are booked and from there if i dont keep digging they would just hanged up on me, bottom line the work done in my teeths is good and my hygienist is the best but the front desk staff are rude and their customer service experience overall is poor in my opinion

After having an appointment I was still not able to see the dentist. I also asked them to contact my former dentist since they did not want the copies of the x-rays I bought with me, since they tried one call and the office once and it was closed they chose to do new full set x-rays now I have a $136,00 dollar bill to pay denied by the insurance.

I love the hygienist that cleans my teeth. Her name is Cheryl Campioni. However I will never go back to this location. The front desk employees are not qualified. Every time I go for an appointment they overcharge me. After I receive my explanation of benefits from Delta Dental I have to argue with the dentist office to get my refund. If they dont know their jobs why do they work there? Its embarrassing that they are black women like me. Hopefully when they read this they will call and apologize and send me my refund without me having to call. I doubt that will happen but I hope.

I was totally amazed with the professionalism and how detailed the staff!

This was the worst dental experience Ive ever had! I was there for an hour and a half for just a cleaning. Ive been to 2 previous dental works and never spent an hour there whether I was getting a cavity filled or a cleaning. It was ghetto. They made me wait in the exam room for 30 minutes without explanation. The dental hygienist assistant didnt even know how to brush my teeth and missed a couple teeth when flossing me.. I wouldnt recommend this place for my dog to have teeth cleaned.

The office Manager exact words We don’t have a doctor on Saturdays!!!!’

Absolutely horrible experience. The dentist is rude, unprofessional and has no beside manner. Constantly giving contradictory information when asked a question. To take the focus off herself, she questions whether your insurance really will cover the appointment. This dentist has cost us countless hours and dollars for absolutely NO service. No office manager available ever to talk with. Finally filed a report with corporate offices. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The services offered was very good, the Doctor explained the two(2 different oral surgery that I had questions about. After the procedure was finished he explained to me what I needed to do for the healing process.

Honestly, I don’t care for the businesss operations. And heaven forebid if you get braces there, they really turn on financial tricks, including giving you two contracts with different figures and having an excuse for that, too!However, Olivia at the front desk has been a wonderful support...emotionally and financially (yesterday, she assured me she would make sure my claims were being filed on the right schedule etc). The hygienists Olson and Cheryl are really cool.Once my daughter’s braces are removed, we will likely move on, unless Olivia agrees to doublecheck billing for me a couple times a year.

Dr. Gulloy is an amazing doctor. All of the staff I have encountered have been nothing but pleasant. I would definitely recommend him.

My husband and I are back looking for another dental office to service our teeth due to incorrect and inconsistent coding and billing. Dr. Mimms is excellent, but the staff responsible for billing made it an unpleasant experience overall. They did have to correct my bill once before, but soon later, my hubby had billing and coding issues, which NO one got back with us to rectify after they stated they would. My husband had been receiving dental care for over 10 years under Dr. Chaiken at another business, who retired. He was an excellent dentist with a superb and excellent billing/coding staff who made sure we knew prior to billing what to expect and money we would expect to pay out-of-pocket, but once we tried Dental Works and he met with this new hygienist, she immediately stated that he had gum disease....REALLY????????? Now, he has been needing extensive cleaning according to ONLY her. If this were really true, wouldn’t our previous qualified and long-term dentist have identified this beforehand and those who were even specialists my hubby was referred to? No one ever told my husband he had gum disease until seeing this hygienist at Dental Works, which in my opinion is ridiculous!!!!! Overall, the billing process has left us both desiring and seeking a NEW dental family to service us. I only wish I could still remain as Dr. Mimms’ patient, but NOT at this location with an unorganized billing staff. The heartache we have experienced just getting our billing straight is just NOT worth it. On to finding another place!!!!! 😒

My daughter had an appointment. Dentist on vacation! Lobby full of people extremely upset. Why dont they ever answer the phone in this location. And to think another dentist referred this location.

Excellent and personal Ortho. Dr. Guloy is the best and very accommodating as well as all of his staff members. Happy I chose this team they really work well and are very inclusive.
