I am soo disappointed with University of Chicago/Ingalls urgent care. As a former employee and RN I spoke so highly of this company but it has gone down hill. My fiancé keeps telling me something is crawling on him and I blew him off. Well this is what is on his gown . Smh it is bugs all over the room.

If I could give this place a zero I would. They made me wait 6 hours, 4 in the waiting room, 2 in the room, for the doctor to come in for 5 mins, did not exam me, and then tell me it’s just stress. When I told her I do not think it is stress and I would like test run or an ultrasound or something, they refused saying we don’t do that after 3 pm. What?? Then because I was upset (which I had every right to be) not disrespectful, nor riled up or anything just upset with how I was being treated, they basically made me take a Xanax to “calm down” as if I was crazy and did not have a right to be upset. No longer focusing on or finding a solution for the problem I came in for, just to calm me down. Not to mention they did not give me my money back. Go to a hospital or anywhere else other than this place. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

If I could guess it no stars I would been here currently two hours and haven’t seen a doctor staff is out there talking and having a blast tho

0 STARS...Terrible out patient service. You have to wait 2 hours to register for your test ie.x_ray and labs. They always only have one person working. Even if you have an appointment you have a long wait time. Thought UOC would fix this place up guess not. DO NOT RECOMMEND

In and out. Dr Hulton and nurse Mimi had great bedside mannerisms.

This is the worst hospital you can go to it dont matter how much paying you are in or if you pass out they are going to make you wait to be seen. I aint never seen a hospital like this before the receptionist are rude and ignorant they dont care about no one but there self I wont recommend this hospital to anyone if you are in alot of pain do not come here go somewhere else trust me on that.

They are the slowest staff ever. Literally the check in process takes forever. However they have a receptionist that does nothing, they need to utilize that person to register guests instead of give a number.

Workers very nice but thought it was urgent care guess not waited 4 hour to be told need to get a second opinion go back out and wait, like really 😒

11/27/20 - 3:25 pm Jen answered the phone, yelled at me to stop explaining my issue when I was trying to let her know that I needed a prescript changed then when asking me what the insulin was, hung up on me. Her name was Jen from the Calumet City location on Torrence and Im making sure to take further action as these calls are recorded and I will get the transcripts.11/27/20 - 3:30 pm - Called back, same person answered again and when I asked for a supervisor, she placed me on hold for another moment before hanging up yet again. Records will show and I will be seeking them because that person doesnt need to be operating lines, shes scum.

I really need to see a doctor And I cannot get an appointment. Its literally a million times easier to get my dog in to see a vet than it is for me, someone with insurance and needs help!This is insane

I came for a SERIOUS matter . Waited over 3 hours just to be seen. Doctor came in with a sarcastic nonchalant attitude & I’ve now been waiting an additional 30 minutes. Nothing has been done . Save a breath and go straight To the Ingalls ER. They DONT care in this facility & move at their own pace regardless of how serious what you need to be seen for is . I wish I could give zero stars. They are literally talking about Starbucks coffee and how many calories it has . I’ve worked ER/Urgent Aid before. This is NOT how it is supposed to be ran. DO NOT COME HERE .

LOVE my doctor St. Jean. She is the best.Followed her from MetroSouth.But the labs in BUILDING H IS SO SLOW. Like nothing i have ever seen. I have to register to take a number. Wait to get my number called so i can register for labs. sit BACK DOWN and wait on my name to be called.i have to wait on a number ,then my name. Gosh. We are suppose to have as less contact with people as possible.im meeting the WHOLE STAFF just for a CBC....I MISS METROSOUTH.

Came in at 11pm having an asthma attack..was told by charge nurse Janelle that Im not in respiratory distress and to have a seat in waiting room... its now 12:20. Ive spit up blood, have chest and rib pains.. and snee came out rude as ever telling me they have bigger emergency... now when I pass out in waiting room because I c cant breath.. what then?? I been coming here more than 15 years and never be n told to wait in waiting room with asthma issues

This is the worst place you can bring your children! I brought my 1yr old son here and they barely examined him, then diagnosed him with an ear infection. The very next day my son is constantly crying and stopped eating and drinking. I decided to look in his mouth and I see those white spots that develop from strep!!! Brought him back here and I have been just sitting here!! They are really trying my patience. They used to be good...... no where near it now..... -10 is my rating!!!!

There’s a complete disregard for patients time at this pediatricians office Dr. Tanveer. I thought by changing from Ruch pediatric and having an option to see a doctor on a Saturday opposed to the week day I would have a better experience however that is far from the truth. If I’ve scheduled my appointment it’s no reason I should be in the room (after being called) for over 30min to an hour. I just couldn’t understand why it was such a wait. I’m disappointed my daughters vaccines are behind but I refuse to allow the doctors here completely disrespect and disregard our time. I’ll return to Rush where I’m seen much more promptly.

Place is a joke, nurse convinced my knee pain was arthritis, they took poor x-rays, when I went to an orthopedic they laughed at the x-rays and said if a 5 yr old took them. It was a meniscus tear. How do I get a refund for my co-pay??

Came in because my child was coughing up blood. There were about 5 pple in the waiting room and I Waited over 2 hours before we even seen a triage nurse. Terrible customer service. I definitely wont visit this location again

I have always had a great experience here myself and especially with my children. My teens have been successfully treated for injuries and treated with respect. I find the doctors knowledgeable and thorough. My youngest, a toddler, was given extra care by the staff, reception, nurses and the doctor that was there when she was diagnosed with the Flu. They always explain options and answer questions - and I ask a lot of them! I see that some have had bad experiences, but I have been coming here for years and have never had any negative issues.The only thing I dont like is that sometimes, not often, after you see Triage and get a room you wait what feels like forever to get seen and even longer to get discharged.Ive even received a phone call asking how I felt a day or two after and if there was anything extra needed.Outside of that, I appreciate the care they give and would recommend this urgent aid facility if you need it.

I came to the family center because I was pissing nothing but blood. The Dr. thought it was kidney stones but wanted to take a ct scan to see if there was something else which it was cancer. He saved my life

I was so impressed with the staff at this location. I will have to wait and see if medications and remedy works. Dr. Jan was fantastic. I will revisit if needed. Thank you.

Horrible! Do NOT waste your time. Im an RN myself and you would be much better off going to a hospital ER for care. This place is a joke. My daughter was there over an hour, with only one other patient waiting to be seen by the doctor while the doctor was in a room sleeping. We ended up leaving before he woke up. I cant wait to receive the customer satisfaction survey

Been waiting over 3 hours to be seen. Its like being at stroger. At 34 weeks pregnant this is horrible. I have sat through 2 sets of people come in and out of here. And still have not been seen. I am in too much pain for this. The service was okay. But the time of wait is horrible. I got here at 7:53 its 11pm and im still waiting. Someone should look up the word URGENT!!!

Horrible..... Sat 3 hours, finally told them I had to leave. Went in with massive headache, ears ringing, eyes blurred. Said they called me 3 times.........heard the name Ruth, not mine. Even asked lady next to me, she said they said Ruth also. Mumbling idiot must not be able to read... Never again. On way to a real hospital.

Signed in this morning and was given prompt attention... I barely sat down in the waiting room and a nurse came out and called my name. They led me into an exam room and immediately took my vitals and asked why I came in. Told them what was ailing me and the nurse and her assistant told me the Dr would see me shortly... He opened the door almost as soon as the nurse closed it... He examined me and talked with me about my complaints, told me what and how to take the meds he was gonna call in and I was out of there in about 20 minutes.... It actually took longer to get to the pharmacy and pick up the meds.. The entire staff was excellent and very respectful... Thanks you!!!

Went in for blood work. Every step was painless. Everyone I encountered was friendly.

Went in for chest and arm pain. Said nothing was wrong, didnt even do xrays, went somewhere else they found pinched nerves. Law suit??? On Ingalls urgent care.

The wait is long but the doctor care was good. Avoid this place if you have PPO insurance. This is not an urgent care and they bill you as an emergency care. Billing will do a bait and switch and have you sign paperwork that says you agree to emergency care. All that means is that you agree to pay the higher copay $100 instead of urgent care copay $65. Two total different prices and they charge you after the visit when you are ready to go. It is a slick move especially if I had known this before I stayed for care; I could have gone to a Walgreens Minute Clinic for same swabs and prescription for Tamiflu. This is not an emergency facility they would have to transport to a hospital for that care. The University of Chicago (new owners) has done a dis-service to the working population community of color people.

I brought my son in for a possible injury he received during football practice. We checked in at 10:20pm, received an X-ray, waiting in the lobby, was called to a room and as of 2:39am we are still here and have yet to see a doctor...or hear anyone making rounds. The lobby has about 4 people waiting to be seen and they have also been here several hours. All I ask is for a little communication...let me know something.

I came here last night because I had symptoms of a sinus infection. I am also 8 weeks pregnant, I didn’t say because I told them my lmp abs they took my urine . She came back to give me pain meds in a shot for my head ache and then I told her like I can’t take that because I’m pregnant and they kept trying to tell me my pregnancy test was negative and I’m like no way. As soon as I left at 2am went to Walmart and picked up the 88 cent test and instantly positive. I believe they used the wrong urine sample becuz it was another in the there with mines. Just horrible

Always a 2+ hour wait doctors never seem to listen to what the patient is telling them. Went in for congestion for 2 months and was told it was just my asthma when I havent had an asthma attack in months. They then made me wait for an x-ray which takes forever after I just waited 3 hours in the waiting room. They didnt try to resolve the issue I came in for.

I loved my experience took my granddaughter because my grandson was sick they saw him immediately where all very nice answered all our questions check on us afterwards and was very attentive to me as I waited very clean hospital that I didnt know existed but would highly recommend because of their wonderful services

I took my sister thete on the 5th of Feb. We were there 7 hours !!! The staff was very caring The time it took us to get seen was out ragous!! My sisyer broke a bone the Dr they refered her to was not in here network unless she changed PCP !!!

Got here at 11:45 at night i knew i was gonna wait alittle bit BUT NOT THIS LONG ! I got called into the room at almost 2 am Its 3:15 in the morning and the nurse just got to the room said the doctor will be like 5 mins its already 3:30 am im a patient person most of the time but waiting this long at an urgent care which is technically supposed to be faster than going to an emergency toom in a hospital is ridiculous im never coming here again .. Next time ill just wait to go to my doctor in the morning at least i would have gotten some sleep.

Never had a long wait. Since they are open 24 hrs. They do charge as a emergency room. Not as Argent Care . Have to do your homework or u would not no this

Do not go to this facility! They claim they are urgent aid office, however, they will bill you as if they are an emergency room.

Went in complaining of a swollen and aching arm and was told it was due to my neck, which Ive never had issues with. Found out from another physician at a different medial center that I have multiple blood clots. They never even examined my arm.

I already have a doctor there and just needed my shoulder checked and need a referal from them to see an orthopedic. The only opening they have is in a month. why have a doctor if i cant even see him for a referral.

Literally everytime I’ve had to come here I’m here for 6 hours or more EVERYTIME ! The nurse honestly seem like they don’t care, I don’t know if they are understaffed or what but it’s been like this the last year, you can sit in agonizing pain & I feel like they would just let you die !! No one is a priority to these nurses but themselves , I always go home with no solution to my problems

Went in to the urgent care I was seen right away and taken care. The nurses and doctor on duty were both thorough and very nice.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The staff has no compassion, mother struggled to get to the bathroom the doctor made eye contact and continued to look at their phone. The wait times are ridiculous. I myself had to come here for muscle spasms. I walked in at 3am and didnt leave until 9.

Very slow only one doctor working, couldnt even discover that my baby 6 months had an ear infections ,just said it was viral, he suffered for 2 more days until I took him somewhere else, something that could of been resolved without their negligence.

Went to get a Dot physical and they tried to say I had sleep apnea and high blood pressure. They told me I should go to there doctor and I can get a $1000 discount if I go to there doctor which the sleep study test can cost up to $4000. I went to concentra and they said I dont need a sleep test and I dont have high blood pressure. Beware this place is a SCAM!

My son has asthma brought him in because it was the closest to us he’s wheezing coughing and complaining that his lungs feel tight and they have us sitting in a room waiting on a treatment after the guy was about to send him back to the waiting room without checking his lungs until I asked him why he didn’t listen to his lungs the he says he wheezing he need a treatment like duhhhh that’s why I brought him in. Worst place ever my baby will never step foot in that place again it don’t even deserve 1 star.

The wait was unbelievable they claimed that they were backed up for physicals and drug test, waited over an hour before even getting called in back, they move real slow at this location, I suggest go to another one not south Holland, unless you want to spend the whole day there.
