I love my doctor, he actually listens and understands. Ive seen 13 doctors for a chronic illness, and Dr. Sydloski was one of 3 doctors willing to help me. I am so grateful for him and the team. I would recommend him to everyone!

I called today to schedule an appointment. The scheduler was very helpful and once her part was done she transferred me to a nurse. The nurse was very rude and for the life of her couldnt figure out why a scheduler would send me to her to talk about my symptoms. Care from the doctors is usually good from here but the support staff is terrible like the other reviews have commented on. If you want a better care go to a different Mercy Health location.

Terrible Experience here. Do not recommend. I took my son here for his shots and clearly told them not to give him a certain shot and what did they do? They gave it too him. I received a phone call after that saying they inadvertently gave him the wrong injection. Wow. Really? Stay away from this place. Do not recommend this office at all. This wasnt the only unsatisfying visit at this facility either. 👎

Dr. Osbourn is emotionless and not helpful and should consider being a surgeon so she doesnt have to actually talk to patients. She never made me feel like a real person, just a nameless, faceless patient. Front desk ladies have always been very nice and the nurses have also always been really helpful. My advice would be to avoid Dr. Osbourn if you can

We really enjoy our humble, conversational Dr Finkbeiner here. We don’t live close (use to) but travel back to see him. Also, good support from all staff. I will agree with another reviewer there might be 1-2 desk personnel that aren’t the friendliest.

My primary care doctor since I was a kid! Always been kind and friendly. Sad to see Dr. Finkbeiner switch locations, but I now see Dr. Osbourne whom I highly recommend! The patient portal feature is extremely helpful and response time to prescription refills/general questions are always answered in a timely manner.

Just wanted to say thank you to Jesse Tien and the whole crew at Mercy Health in Caledonia for another job well done. We have had a hard time achieving customer satisfaction in many areas since moving to Michigan. Luckily for us, we found this group nearly 4 years ago. After a recent injury just on the cusp of the holiday weekend, I ended up in the ER. The care wasnt up to part and my last holiday weekend for the summer was spent in bed.Im writing to say that I called today, and fortunately was able to get in today. AfterJesse and his staff listened to me and prescribed the right medication,I cant believe how much better I feel already. Of course I still have a awhile before Im completely healed, but I wanted to say thank you publicly to the Caledonia office of Mercy Health.

If you want to be treated like a drug addict and want doctors unwilling to educate themselves, this is your place.They use information from 1976 and are unwilling to learn or even look at information that contradicts their genius. Doctors Who are unwilling to educate themselves and admit that they do not know what theyre talking about are not doctors. This is a group of non doctors. I use a drug that is not scheduled and is as harmful as water yet the doctors at this office refuse to educate themselves and learn. We dont need these doctors. All they want to do is send you to 10 more doctors when you already know whats going on.There argument was they were unfamiliar with the drug. I asked are you going to familiarize yourself with the drug and prescribe it. No. We dont want to learn. We just want to prescribe narcotics.Avoid this office at all cost. They just cost me time and 25 bucks.

I tried to call in on a Friday afternoon about a prescription. This office asks for 48 hours for prescription requests. I did not call mine in until Thursday so I called in, admitted that I made a mistake not calling Wednesday, and very politely asked if they could help me out. Cheryl or Sherry answered me and treated me with full on hostility. I didn’t know where it was coming from but the first words out of her mouth were hostile and bordered on yelling at me to the point I switched to speaker phone so my wife could hear.. Neither of us could believe what transpired. She was angry and confrontational and tried to claim she had already talked to me about this. It was unbelievable. She raised her voice at me and insisted over and over that I had spoken to her that morning and that she had been over this with me. The only problem is that that never happened. I kept trying to calm her down and explained I had been on a airplane all day and she continued to berate me and treat me like a piece of garbage insisting I was lying. I explained repeatedly that I had not spoken to her and kept asking if I had upset her somehow. It was so bad that I was trying to find ways to calm her down. Finally, she realizes that she had not talked to me and was confused because she had listened to my message from the refill line that day and had, in fact, not talked to me. But does that change her tune? Nope. Then she decides I can wait until Monday. Without talking to the Dr. she takes it upon herself to decide that I can wait until Monday. I explained that I really needed the medication before Monday and then she explained that my doctor was gone and again said I should wait until Monday. The whole time anger and condensation are just coming out in every word she speaks to me as though my calling was an unspeakable offense against her. I ask her to please see if there is another option because I don’t want to have to wait until Monday. Finally, she tells me she will pass it on to another doctor to get it filled that day. Except she doesn’t. She just goes home for the day, doesn’t get it filled, doesn’t call me, and apparently thinks it’s just fine to treat people like trash. This is how this woman is allowed to treat patients of this office. I will say that my actual provider Dr.Osborne is really great. Cheryl/Sherry is a monster and should not be allowed to speak to patients. The fact that this woman is allowed to treat customers like this is unbelievable to me. Where does anyone get off yelling at their customers over an innocent politely delivered request for assistance? I feel so upset that she treated me this way and then lied to me on top of it. I have never been anything but nice to these people and get treated like this? I wish there was a zero star rating and I attribute it entirely to this woman.

Quite a disappointing experience today. The office hours state they open at 7 am. However, this is apparently treated as a flexible start time as they opened the doors at 7:20 am. Also, the labs open at 8 am which isnt clearly listed onsite let alone on their website. I called at 7 am to verify hours and recieved no answer. Just make sure you dont plan anything early as they cant figure out how to open on time.

I have been to the lab there a few times. No problem but the last time I was there, a lady was sitting on the curb to the left of the door smoking and talking on her phone. I told the desk clerk at the health clinic because its supposed to be a tobacco- free facility and she just shrugged it off. When I left the lady went inside. She was a patient and went right up to the desk and through to exam room area - No problem. Not caring that people are hanging out in plain sight by the front door smoking is a negative for a health care facility. A tobacco free campus should be enforced.

Absolutely the worse doctor I have ever encountered and I am a health care professional. All he talked about was tests and expensive medication. None of which I needed. When I told him I needed a routine mammogram, he ordered it as a test that was not covered by BCBS. It was over five hundred dollars. Tried to talk to him about it. Not interested in costing me that much money. I already paid for cancer once. I found a really good doctor across the street at the Metro building. No tests, no meds. Mercy has turned into money grubbers. I used to work for them. They are not the same. Avoid at all costs

I love our family doctor. Hes worth seeing. However Barb the nurse is the rudest person ever. I dread calling to get anything because she answers everytime and everytime she unbelievable rude. Im not sure how she is still there. I have never had a nice conversation with her. You are automatically stupid and are wasting her time when you call and she makes you feel like that for sure :(

Being a resident of Caledonia I am walking away from patient care here and my family. How they treat one of our family members influences us very personally. My grandchildren were place in knowing harm when a Doctor there misguided my daughter placing Her body went into a state of shock after they did not make her health a priority. The doctor visit from one day to the next wavered. I talked to my daughter following her appointment told me what change was made and when it came time to follow threw with that change. They disregarded ever having the change. Unfortunately we are beyond upset the Doctor that replaced Doctor Vanderlun does not provided the solid Foundation of Truth. I recommend do not take any of the doctors word there to change your medication dose unless it is in your hands period.

Do as much as you can online. The people up front are of very little help. Attempting to set an appointment with your physicisn is like trying to see the President of the United States
