Its not the best maintained gym by far. Hot tub is, and from what Ive heard, been down for some time. Heating unit for pool went out so they pulled the one from hot tub. With no intentions of replacing. Yet still using it in their sales of memberships.There is large amounts of rust on overhead steel beams. It falls into pool when ever dead weights are dropped on 2nd floor.I have not yet tried any of the workout equipment. I give them 3 stars based on the aquatic areas, locker room, and unfriendly staffing.

From what I saw of it, this gym has everything youll need to get into shape. The area of free weights could be bigger. More elbow room in the free weights area.

As a former member, it’s not shocking that this location still has yet to fix their AC. Currently you have one stairclimber down needing repair, leg curl machine, sometimes the sauna and hot tub aren’t working. The staff is friendly, but I refuse to resign an overpriced membership for broken equipment and the AC has been down for 3 years counting. There’s also a lack of towels because the dryer is down. If it wasn’t for your staff this place would drown in the sweat stench it creates from the lack of cold air and ventilation.

Worst manger service I have dealt with. Cant trust anything told to you on how to get membership cancelled or anything. Best way is to close account so they dont take advantage of you. Not all staff are complete......just some.

Equipment is good. Building A/C doesn’t seem to work upstairs.

First time at this location staff was very nice and informative. Everything seemed to be in working order and clean. They could use some more rubber matts in the womens locker room but other than that good over all

The Staff is super nice but honestly this is the worst maintained gym I have been to. You minus well save a ton of money and go to Idaho fitness factory or a low key 24hr gym with just weights and cardio machines because that’s is all you will get here but not for the price. This gym offers hot tub and sauna but they never work. For almost a year the hot tub and sauna have maybe worked for a month or two. They do not care to fix it or make it a priority at all (which is never a problem at axiom where I have previously worked out for 6 years!)Out of 3 stair climbing machines they have two or 1 have been broken out of the entire year as well. They rent the pool out for swimming classes making it super inconvenient for your own workouts. Definitely if you want the anything beyond weights and cardio machines don’t go here completely a waist of money!

Ive been going their for a few years now lost over 200lbs in the pool. Hotub dont ever work wet sauna never works i pay extra for towl service and half the time no towls when theor is all the towls are old and torn. Yet i pay full price every month. One reason i have not switch is the people at the desk especially the new girl with braces always has a big smole that would turn any frown ipside down and she say good morning it really sets the tone for my workout and the day. Im sure if it wasnt for the good people that work their it would be a empty building. Cuz corperate dont care about us at all.

I love coming to this location! I wish it wasn’t so far for me... The Nampa location is closer.... but honestly I prefer the Caldwell one. My kids also prefer the Caldwell location. Miss Jen in the daycare is absolutely amazing and just having her watch my kids is worth the 40 minute drive :) I hope the management does whatever they have to to keep her around for good!

I have tried to cancel my membership since I am no longer in Idaho. The management has refused to cancel unless I physically go into the club. I have repeatedly explained to them I cannot because I am out of state.I do not know how many other ways to say please cancel I will not be returning to Idaho for a year.So frustratingI

Clean, sanitary wipes for when you need them and overall good place to workout

This gym is not CHEAP! Behind the sign up fees, yearly renewal fees (complete BS fee) and asking price for minimal amenities I would recommend pocketing your money and going to a park to work out.Between my Wife and I for a year, the average cost is about $53/month. Thats not including the sign up fee. Take your business elsewhere.

The business is okay. But they should really do a better job at picking employees. They have an employee that just got a DUI and was double over the limit with her 5 kids in the car... how are you supporting that behavior and that type of person... says a lot about the company. I wouldn’t have that kind of person working at any establishment I ran because as a company, I believe that they should know the people they have representing their company.

The pool was okay, but was really cold one time I went. Wet sauna is broken. Hot tub was working correctly. The HIIT classes have been pretty good. Lots of weight equipment and weight lifting area. There is a cross fit area that is cool too. Mens locker room has that distinct odor smell from years of use.

There are lots of ways to get exercise here. We like that! What we dont like is the disinfectant wipe dispensers are empty most of the time now. When we first started going there, the dispensers were always full & someone was cleaning the equipment & floors. Not so much now. 😕 Hope it improves.

These employees are inconsiderate and they hang up on the phone on you do not go there!!

Bobby is a awesome trainer! He taught me some great workouts. He is very helpful and encouraging. The gym its self is awesome Im so happy I started coming here. Makes me excited to get in shape.

I love the convenience crunch offers with multiple locations. I always have pleasant interactions with the staff. My only thing that is a little frustrating is that the steam room at this location in Caldwell has been down for so long that I can’t remember the last time it was running.

Gym is very clean, good equipment and enough room to move around with out being crowded. The fees are very reasonable and you get what you pay for.I recommend that you go talk to someone about a membership and become part of the group there.They offer work out classes and they are even part of the membership fee.

Been using Crunch Fitness since 2011 in Portland Oregon. Was so happy that the franchises are now here in Treasure Valley I quit a well-known local gym to be a crunch member again. The place is great. The price is right. Really cant get a better experience unless you go to a private Country Club.

Amazing location, the other sites are always super slammed which makes it hard to get on equipment this site does get busy but has plenty of equipment to facilitate everyone. The wonderful and professional staff make working out a pleasant experience. The facilities are always clean and tidy.

There shouldnt be any excuse for not having disinfecting wipes. I pay my dues. Very selfish for not thinking of diseases.

I enjoy the facilities and love the hydromassage chair. The staff are friendly. Its usually not crowded. The only thing Id love is perhaps a bench or three upstairs so I can rest my legs in between machines or while waiting for my son to finish his workout. I have fibro and arthritis and my legs need a rest after I exercise. Other than that, youre awesome!

The pool has too much chlorine. Please make it safer for all of us. Other than that theres plenty of equipment here to target all your muscles. So 5 stars for that part.

I really enjoy going here and the variety of things they offer are very useful to me. Tanning, Hydro massage, racket ball, steam room, sauna, pool, zumba classes and many more. Plus everything else you can think of for working out. Crunch fits all fitness lifestyles. I feel comfortable at this place. I signed up for a trainer, though, for a month and that was a waste of money. I am sure they have better ones but I felt burned. Nice place to work out and they are still upgrading some things. Swimming, racquetball, classes for seniors. It is all there.

We have been part of Crunch Fitness for 3 months. Aside from the exceptional customer service we have enjoyed the facility, as well as, all the members being very congenial.If your looking for a great workout, great facility, and quiet pool this is for you.

Ive been a member here for a few years now and I love the updates that the new owners are making. The machines are new and actually get repaired when they need to be. The pool is cleaner than Ive ever seen it. They have also added in hydro massage chairs and tanning beds.

Classes are AMAZING. New equipment. They seem to always be updating things. Daycare process are a bit steep. And the extra fees when you sign up are a surprise.

I am I current member and visit daily! It have such amazing service and great amenities. I recommended to all my friends💪🏼

The Caldwell crunch fitness is a very nice place to go the staff there is very nice and helpful the instructors are fantastic I feel theres a lack of communication between the Caldwell Club members and the rest of the organization but I do want to emphasize that the Caldwell staff is very very nice and accommodating. I belong to Boomer classes and both Cheryl and VIcki go all out for us and give us a very good training

They had membership options but I went with Idaho Fitness Factory. Theyre small but nice, new and clean. Theyre 24 hrs and inexpensive.

Typical gym membership trickery; lie about ending membership (putting it on freeze instead) and then restarting it without contacting us, attempting to charge an expired credit card for months before sending us to collections. All the time, not contacting us! And them putting it on us that its our responsibility to keep our file upto date... after we thought we had closed our account???????Completely unprofessional and ugly condescending attitude from employees.Dont get trapped.Dont sign up.

Good gym for the price.Pros - people are friendly, new equipment, not expensive, different types of classes.Cons - No 24 he access, lockers are small, water fountain constantly goes out but usually at least one works.

CORRUPT BUSINESS PRACTICES. This club only accepts payments from a credit card or debit on a recurring monthly schedule. If you have a fraudulent charge on you credit card and need to get a new card and number these people will charge you $20 and will not accept an excuse. One of managers is an infantile snow-flake who will offend you and then try and shut you down when you are mad. I would think twice before joining this club.

You know when it was IAC I feel like it was managed better(with machine and equipment maintenance)You know since it’s been crunch how many times I’ve walked in and either the sauna or the steam room don’t work, at almost every location -_- And it’s not even that it’s out for a couple days the one in Caldwell has been out for months!

Lots of things to do

I go to Crunch often and Ive noticed a big difference since it changed ownership from IAC. Many of my favorite machines were taken out. It takes a long time for broken machines to be fixed, and equipment and heavy weights are left lying around all over the place. The front desk staff isnt friendly and usually ignore me because theyre playing on their phones. Still, its close to my house and a good value for the money.

Place is a dump! Broken equipment for weeks, no sanitary wipes, and a manager that knows nothing.

I am a single mom and I was really needing a way to feel better and get stress relief, and because Im a single mom I dont have a lot of money so I was very excited to hear the crunch gym was only $10 a month. I can definitely afford that and Im so happy I have a Place I can get out of the house and be sociable and get a good workout in 🙂

I went in to redeem a 1-day free trial. I was given a 30-day free trial instead. That was a nice surprise! Pretty straight forward layout of the gym. My only qualm is the lack of room in the dumbbell area. The lifting space is very tight if there are more than a few people using the dumbbells at a time.

I think its a good price for what Im getting. Good equipment and classes. But I wish they had more class times offered and free wifi.

Staff is much friendlier than the old idaho athletic club people. Plus equipment is way nicer. I can target not specific muscles!

The most terrible crunch is a very dirty steam bath that doesn’t work, the chairs inside are broken, the hot tubs doesn’t work like 3 months, there’s no point in paying at all, it’s better not to go there, there are almost no employees in the workplace and that’s all. better go to the YMCA here it is very cool.

Started going to the Crunch Caldwell a few months ago, the equipment is good and the staff is very friendly. We also have kids so its cool that they offer free family swim on the weekends for the little guys.

Its defiantly a gym, but the pool is small, facilty defiantly needs an update. Looks like a germy place in my opinion. The cleaning crew could defiantly put some more time or effort in.. I wouldnt go back just because I prefer a bit nicer gym but for $10 a month its not totally awful.

My husband goes to the Caldwell place. He will never rejoin when his contract is up. The chairs in the shower room are turning black from mold. The machines are broke down. The pool area nothing ever work. Just down right let it go down. Had high hopes Crunch would have improved the business. I was wrong.

I had a deep tissue massage with shelly and it was the best massage Ive had in years.

Sure wish the place was cleaner but other than that the staff is nice its nice not to have a whole bunch of wild kids running around

So, a lot of my experience is my own doing, I have to admit that. And staying on the whole first year, that was my fault too. I should have left after the first three months but I stayed on hoping it would get better but it didnt. The only thing more annoying than the number of times the pool was closed was the number it should have been but wasnt. The last time was a month before my annual renewal and was my final straw. After not wanting to disappoint kids for family swim time we stayed for 30 mins. Should have found a pond, would of been cleaner. Pretty sure based on rust on pretty much everything in sight the last time the pool area was freshened was original building construction. Steam sauna spent most of my year as a proctologists dream with broken jagged seats waiting for an unsuspecting victim. And finally as my end of year approached I found I was off by a week. Unfortunately only after asking for a partial refund for a second year of dues. Was told by management that day I could ask corporate but would be denied based on the millions of happy customers. Well, count it as millions minus this one, who shall never be a customer for crunch again. So my biggest suggestion? If you decide to try it out, put a reminder on it calendar for one year minus 12 days. Thall give you two days to write the letter to drop it off at the 10 days prior to one year mark. Just my two cen..... I mean 54 dollars advice.

I find it quite hilarious that the last 67 reviews are 5 stars within the last week all mentioning how awesome “Brad” is on the Caldwell Crunch Fitness Facebook page.Crunch Fitness is a joke. And maybe more people would see it if there weren’t so many fake reviews from friends etc.I was charged the annual fee because I cancelled my membership 5 days too late. And at the time I was told they would waive the daycare fee. I emailed and out that information in the cancellation email. Today I was charged the daycare fee and when I called I was told it would take 7-10 business days to have it returned. Ok so you can take my money because I cancel “too late” but take your sweet time giving me my money back that you said you waived. I’ve sent an email to corporate. This company is a joke.

Awesome place to work out and play some racquetball. They offer various fitness classes and they have awesome personal fitness trainers.

This is a great place with friendly and helpful employees. Fair prices and great equipment make this a great option.

I would like to see more upgrades. I workout mostly in Meridians gym and it is frustrating to see the ladies bathroom, locker, change area always wet and dirty. Showers need work and steam room I will not use because of mold on walls. I hope that with all the fixings and upgrades you guys doing, that will be one of them.
