My wife and grandson have been to the Caldwel ER several times. We are always seen very quickly. The staff is friendly and professional and they don’t mind ordering the tests that you need. We came from a bigger city in Oregon and have been very, very impressed with the level of service we receive in Caldwel at the ER. Kudos to them!

My son has issues with his lungs and so we end up at the ER at least twice a year. We have never had a wait, the Drs never refuse a test and seem to actually listen instead of dismissing my concerns. They are quick and thorough and because of their kind staff, my son has zero fear of Drs despite how frequently he has had invasive tests and painful procedures. Thank you so much! So thankful to have such a wonderful ER in town!

I was recently treated in the emergency department on 9/8/2020. I had been to the emergency department 3 times at this point within the last week because I had not received a clear diagnosis due to the nature of my ailment. Just to make it clear from the start, everyone I interacted with at the hospital, from security to the physicians were fantastic and I am now well.I will start off by saying that I was diagnosed with a life-long, rare condition (unrelated to the visit mentioned) many years ago. To achieve my diagnosis, I spent over 4 years, over 15 individual trips to primary care doctors and specialists along with numerous emergency room visits. This experience, albeit a tiring and arduous one, allowed me to see the behind the scenes of a lot of medical care facilities, it allowed me to interact with many medical professionals from CNAs to highly experienced physicians and with this, I have the ability to really determine whether or not the person talking to me knows their stuff. I too have consequently, amassed some medical knowledge, albeit basic and limited knowledge, this still allows me to determine whether or not Im in good hands maybe a little better than the average person.Having said that, I would like to say that the person assigned to me, Marc Manko PA has been by far, without a doubt the most knowledgeable, personable and thorough medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with, physicians included. I was so impressed by this, that Marc alone, would be the reason I would recommend your emergency department to anyone if the patient was so fortunate to be assigned to be under his care.

Last night i went to the ER after having a saline sonogram performed, which followed with extreme pain and suffering. Marc Manko was my Dr. and he was EXTREMELY rude. He walked into my room, asked me when I would stop making stuff up, and proceeded to tell me this was all in my head and indicated that I was med seeking, because at that point I was already pumped with morphine and another drug and was not showing any signs of improvement. He said there was no way that the procedure was the reason for my pain, and that my pain most likely wasnt real at all because all the test proved there was nothing wrong, except my WBC was 17.1. I was discharged and went to St Lukes in downtown Boise where there treated me properly and let me know that I indeed had something wrong, which turned out to be a hemmorhagic cyst that has ruptured in my right ovary and that was the cause of my agonizing pain. I will be going after west valley for medical malpractice, as well as the cruelest bedside manner I have ever experienced. Marc Manko should NEVER practice again, and really needs to consider a career change. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE STATE TO PULL HIS MEDICAL CREDENTIALS.
