Ive had some experience with acupuncture in the past but working with Sheila truly impacted the quality of my life. She is so thorough and truly takes the time to understand a person as a complete organism. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very gentle when using needles.

Ive gotten acupuncture at multiple places for many years for various ailments (broken wrist, neck injury, back injury, digestive issues, stress, etc.) and my experiences at Calabasas Acupuncture have been great. Sheila is a compassionate and gifted practitioner, with a grounded and soothing touch and pleasant bedside manner. I had recently strained my back (again) and with two acupuncture and cupping treatments I was significantly better, where this type of strain would usually take weeks and weeks to resolve, I was back to feeling great in no time. I also lead a very stressful and busy life and she gave me some Chinese herbs to take for a few weeks which helped me balance things out. I now come for regular treatments, which I look forward as one of the best parts of my week. I definitely recommend Sheila and am thankful to have found her clinic as it is a key part of my personal wellness plan.

Sheila is amazing! I came here with neck problems and now we work on so many things, still including helping my neck. Not only do I love seeing my acupuncturist because its almost like a therapy session, but I also leave there feeling physically blissed out. She has helped me so much. I have been doing acupuncture off and on for the last twenty years, due to a back injury in my late 20s. I have worked with several gifted practitioners over that time and Sheila is at the top of the list. She is an AMAZING healer, with a deep knowledge of the art of acupuncture, cupping, and herbs. She always has great insight regarding the right points and treatment to deal with whatever crazy situation is presenting itself. For instance, most recently: me being hit on my bike by a truck. I kid you not. Luckily I was fairly unscathed (no broken bones or major injuries) but I was truly banged up... and right away she knew the right treatment to speed my recovery.

Miracle worker! Dr. Woodford is amazing! After having never done acupuncture, I can honestly say I can’t live without it now!
