I’ve been paying for a funeral insurance for my mother since 1996. I’ve paid $1,500 over the amount that the insurance covers. Triple S stated that this is because it’s “life term” “de por vida”insurance. In other words that if my mom were to live until she was 90 I would still be paying for this insurance. Very convenient for Triple S.I do not have documents that stated that information, my mom passed away this month on the 10th and they refuse to process my claim or provide me copy of the complete policy.The claim will not be processed until I have the original Death Certificate. This insurance is to pay for the funeral expenses it’s ridiculous that if I have the Death Certificate that was provided to me by the funeral home signed by the Doctor and the funeral director that I need to wait for over thirty or more days for me to get the money for the insurance that I have overpaid for and that is meant to pay for funeral services.The lack of empathy and understanding on behalf of the employees in this office is overwhelming. I intend to go to DACO and file a complaint. In my opinion this practice is abusive and borderline fraud.

I have funeral and chronic illness policies with them. I have no issues with them so far. I have had a good experience with customer service representatives on the phone.

Terrible service. They blame everything on the covid- 19. Government and private companies accept clients in their offices, they do not. Everything is by appointment and the office is always without clients. I went to the Caguas office and the employees were empty giving jokes
