I moved my wife into the Memory Unit at Curry House when I could no longer provide the level of care and safe environment that she needed.The staff at Curry House are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting in making this difficult transition. They promptly respond with any questions we have.I, and my family, are pleased with the level of friendly, professional, service in all aspects of providing excellent care, compassion, and a safe facility.

Working with Curry House is always so amazing. I work for a local skilled nursing facility and absolutely love when I get to work with their residents or discharge rehab patients to them for long term care. The staff is amazing and the environment is so homey. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Rae really knows her job and goes wayout of her way to ensure the best service possible. My mom hasnt been this happy since my step dad passed away. The staff is very professional from the top to the maintenance person. The Cadillac community and elderly are truly blessed to have this business her. Ive worked at Curry House since March of 2015. I love it here. The residents and families truly become our family. My heart has always been geared towards seniors and helping others. I have the best of the both working here. My own mother had dementia and I cared for her and know first hand what a difficult decision it is to look for care for their loved one.

Nina Fields is beyond describing how she goes above and beyond her job description, to take care of residents at Curry House. Nina has been taking care of my sister at Curry House for almost 20 years. The love and care she gives her is outstanding. Not only does she show love and compassion to Cindy , but to her family as well. Curry House is honored to have such a wonderful caretaker in their employment.Other employees that have made a major contribution to Cindys happiness and been exceedingly kind to her family members are:Shannon Miller - another outstanding aide at CH in Assisted Living.Kelly - an aide in Memory Care that used to be in Assisted Living.Crystal - night time aide at CH in Assisted Living.Cary Miller - Accountant at Curry House.Susan - Front desk receptionist in Assisted Living.Rae Berwald - Public relations and filled in as manager when last manager left.Mark - Transportation. So kind to Cindy and does so many extra special things for her when on outing and Doctor appointments.Lori Gallop - Food/cafeteria manager - has gone out of her way to address Cindys food issues, and accommodate her diabetic needs.Mary - head of house cleaning. Does an excellent job of taking care of little cleaning needs that residents have.Valerie - Activities director - Came up with many new activities to interest residents and make a fun activity and social time for residents.Also, Misty and Heady have been real helpful and attentive to Cindy.I cant remember everybodys name I should give Kudos to, but if I were looking for an assisted Living home to spend my final days, Curry Housewould definitely be my choice of residence.Becky, the new Manager, that has taken over, seems to be genuinely concerned regarding resident care and continuing to make Curry House areal home setting for residents.I cant say enough about how kind the caretakers have been trying to protect and keep the residents content during this COVID 19 pandemic.They have done an outstanding job to keep them safe and keep any of them from getting COVID, even though it has compounded their work load.Submitted with great respect,Abby Jensen

Our decision to choose Curry House one year ago has been a good one. Helping a loved one transition to a new living situation late in life is difficult. You will find Rae Berwald to be a kind and caring guide. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful and wants what is best for your loved one. Betty is one of our go to caregivers who always goes the extra mile to solve a problem or understand a need. Every single staff member is dedicated to the important work they do. This is a warm and friendly place that takes the risks associated with Covid-19 seriously. They are determined to keep our loved ones safe and secure.

I am the Food Services Director at Curry House. My staff goes above and beyond making sure our residents needs are met. Its not just about the food, though it is very important to our residents, its also about building relationships. My staff genuinely cares about all of our residents, spending time getting to know them, helping them and developing relationships with them. And she knows exactly how I like my coffee!Shannon Miller--We laugh together most everyday that Shannon is here. I think she really likes what she does.Nina--She knows the same older hymns that I do and we sang Heaven is a beautiful place--She started and I joined in. She helps me a lot.Kali--Always kind and gentle. She helps to keep me calm when I have to move on that machine.Misty--I love her hair. She always asks if I need anything else and she comes back when she says she is going to!Krystal--Calls me Miss Judy. Always makes me smile. Wonderful.Baeliegh-- She makes sure I am comfortable in that bed before she leaves me. I really like her.Sierra--Always so friendly and always wants to make sure I am comfortable.Nicole--She is so sweet. Always has a smile when she comes in to help me.

The Curry House has gone beyond being just a memory care facility for my mom. The staff genuinely love spending time with mom and are deeply concerned about her care. I trust my mother in their care at all times. I highly recommend Curry House to anyone considering a memory care facility for their loved one.

Curry house is simply the BEST assisted living and memory care in Cadillac. They have dedicated and caring staff, amazing food, and activities. The community is very clean - they are doing all they can to keep residents safe from COVID-19. Great job!

My mother went to Curry House 2 1/2 yrs ago after having permanent damage from a stroke and then damage from a broken hip. She always wanted to stay in her home, but after those issues she realized she couldnt. Thankfully due to the caring people at Curry she is happy there. When she needs any kind of help she just pushes her button and they are there in just a few minutes. When anyone asks her if she likes it there, she says yes, they take very good care of me.

Rae Berwald is the face of Curry House. She is out in the community sharing positive thoughts, smiles and a caring attitude. When she is greeting visitors and families her care and concern is real. Her efforts made Curry House a wonderful place for the residents to live.

Yes . The team here is hard working and compassionate. From food staff to caregivers to nursing. My husband is especially fond of Hettie and Kallie.He says they really listen to his needs. Thank you ALL for hard work during difficult. times!

The curry is bland and uninspiring, the decor is outdated, overall not a pleasant dining experience. Please use more coconut milk next time, the Masaman curry had way more potatoes than beef.

My mother has lived at Curry House for four months. Overall her experience has been good. The meals are tasty and the portions satisfy her hunger. Her room is cozy and warm. She particularly enjoys the morning exercise class.The only negative experience has been errors in distributing her medication. However, when my brother (medical power of attorney) intervened the problem was remedied to his satisfaction.My mother is not happy about being forced (by diminishments in her health and the security concerns of her sons) into making the move to Curry House. Consequently, her criticisms are broader and more vociferous.Placing my mother in an assisted living facility was not my first choice. However, if I had to make the decision again, I would definitely choose Curry House.
