I was recently in to the urgent care on a Sunday. Though it was busy and only 1 woman working the front desk. She was pleasant, understanding and helpful. I was impressed with her knowledge and candor. The person who brought me back was attentive, wrote down in detail what had happened. The X-ray I had was quick and the provider took her time with me, I never felt rushed or pressured. I was to make an appointment with a surgeon and the woman at the front desk was engaging and able to help me find a doctor that fit my schedule. Overall this experience was great, from front desk back to front desk

Bit of a delay but the PA-C here seem way more knowledgeable then anyone I have talked to the Minneapolis VA. Rebecca and her staff were knowledgeable and caring. Will continue to go for treatment on my hip. Getting my MRI records moved over to the TCO has been a complete nightmare. Two appointments they still cant access my images.

Experience so far is that they push things that cost you money. Went in for an arm issue. Nurse asked why I was there and suggested an X-Ray immediately. I said no, I know it is not bone related and rather not pay for it. Nurse suggested she asks Dr. Fey, who advised her that I needed it before even seeing/talking to me. Trusting a doctors advise, I did it and of course no bone issue. He couldnt tell from X-Ray if there was any tissue, ligament issues...Dr. Fey couldnt diagnose my issue and said I could work through pain. Another doctor highly advised against that. Dr. Fey did suggested more revenue generating services with their Physical Therapy.

Broke foot in bike accident. Immediate care as walk-in on Sunday afternoon. X-rays, walking cast, and follow-up appt. provided. Re-injured foot during weaning process, six weeks after initial injury. Care coordinator, Karen, provided basic immediate care instructions and recommendations regarding re-evaluation. Reevaluation and care update, without waiting at Burnsville location. WOW! Ortho diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up could not have been better! 5 out of 5 stars from me!

Larry.....the PA was the best I have ever encountered...answered many questions I had...took off entire arm wrap and immobilizer which had beenextremely tight no one else would change (may have caused burst blood blister which brought much blood to the ace wrap).....he then rewrapped arm with THREE layers of cotton for comfort, the fiberglass immobilizer and then ace wrap....what a kind pro!!!! His Scribe was very attentive and assisted Larry as needed.

When I arrived they were very kind and friendly. They got us back quickly. The PA that we saw was very kimd as well! When I was told to schedule a follow up appt I went back to the front. I waited not sure if the front desk person was doing something. She just stared at me and never said one word. I.said I needed to do a follow up appt and she finally said could do that. I made the mistake of calling the PA a doctor and she snapped back that he was a PA not a doctor. That was just not necessary. Evening receptionist was very rude and not friendly

I have been going to TCO for several years. Ankle broken twice. Broken foot torn miniscus and now I believe I have another torn miniscus in the other knee. They found my cancer in my spine and were exemplary in all their dealings. They had everything lined up for me to go to the specialist I needed. I’m cancer free. I would go no where else. Ive been happy with Dr Fey. He is calm, kind and efficient. Very intelligent. I like that he explains all the possible options and no rush into surgeries. He does not waste time-gets to the issue and deals with it. And I am especially impressed with his assistant Erin. She has helped me so much with all those details one has to sort through-but has trouble with. And helps you to understand things. She also has a calm and kind manner-so important when not feeling well and suffering from pain. A great team-simply the best. Highly recommend. Thank you-Diane

I’m 56 and recently had a total knee replacement. It’s a very difficult operation and a difficult recovery. I did feel that when I advocated for myself, and said I needed to be listened to, they did a great job of listening. The surgeon was skilled, the physical therapy people were absolutely outstanding. Pain management was very good. The nurses at the surgery center were terrific. I had a very easy time scheduling appointments, they were very flexible, the entire staff was really terrific. The bottom line is, I would go to them again if I need another knee replacement.Jim D

This was my first visit to Twin Cities Orthopedics Burnsville location. The very nice blondish receptionist who helped me was so kind and helpful. She even assisted me with the I-pad questionnaire. I never got her first name but thank-you sweet lady for your kindness. I saw Dr. Neil Johnson for a shoulder issue. Dr. Johnson was very professional and explained everything to me and answered all my questions regarding my shoulder issue. Dr. Johnson made me feel at ease. I still have some follow-up to do in the weeks ahead, but Im pleased with the service I received today. I read the other reviews, some reviews were a few years old. Some people were not very pleased with the service they received. It may come down to who a patient gets for service at the time. But I was impressed with my contact with Twin Cities Orthopedics Burnsville.

I am posting this review for my mother:I want to express sincere thanks for the care I received from Dr. Kelly. The pain and limitations of my arthritic shoulder were discouraging and lessened the quality of my life. Although I was 93 at the time of my surgery, Dr.Kelly never let assumptions about my age guide his decision. He was respectful, never dismissive and always encouraging. I have had my new shoulder for a year and it has improved my life dramatically. I would also like to say that I was touched how his assistant Liz would remember me and treat me like a friend. Lindsey was wonderful when I was in the hospital!. I am so glad I chose Dr. Kelly and TCO for my surgery!

Dr Laura Koch is the best hand surgeon I can recommend anybody. Shes got compassion, and she understands you, and she does not jump into surgery that its her last option ever. She will try everything before surgery and I like that. She deals with mainly hands and shes very good at it. She respects her patients, when you can tell her patients respect her I would recommend her to anybody.

The people there were very nice to me. I do have a problem with the Doctor I saw. It turned out that I have a meniscus tear in my knee. The only option offered by Dr. Ryan Cole was surgery. I have read that aspiration and injections have had great success. Also, just exercise and massage has great results. Dr. Cole offered no other treatment options. Surgery was it. Period. I am quite unhappy with all the costs of my visits to TCO. A complete waste for their celebrity Doctor.

This place is a joke. Im very disappointed with the way my situation was handled here. I got to my appointment 10 minutes early. I waited for 40 minutes & saw two people who had appointments with the same Doctor go in before me. I was getting frustrated. I then overheard the receptionist tell another lady that she FORGOT to check me in and I was now marked as a No Show. They eventually got me in, and all for no more than 5 minutes of the doctors time. The doctor was very nice, but I felt rushed...(probably because they took me out of his schedule). Monkeys couldve done a better job than the people running the front desk. I was extremely disappointed with my visit & with look into other orthopedic offices before deciding to come back here. I was there for an hour and a half 90% of that time was spent waiting.

I had disc replacement surgery in December. The care I received from Dr Deal and his assistant Nathan Schalmo was great but the billing process afterwards was a nightmare. The people in the billing office were extremely rude when I explained I couldnt pay $2000 in full. I owed anesthesia bills and another $2000 TCO facility bill at the same time, trying to manage them all as best I could. I explained to TCO billing that I was doing my best, making monthly payments trying to keep the bill from going to collections. I explained I was closing on a house so my finances were tight along with all the other medical bills from this procedure but that I would make larger payments within a couple months once the house was closed but they were not willing to work out a payment arrangement that would work for me. They said theyd note my account and advised me to keep making monthly payments which I did but they still sent my bill to collections even though I never missed a payment. I would shop around next time I need any orthopedic care and look for an organization that values its patients from start to finish.

No idea who the 5 star reviews saw, wish we would have gotten them. No empathy, my fiance had a hip replacement, relatively routine, except no, something went wrong and shes in excruciating pain almost two months out. Not soreness from surgent, utter agony. The surgeon blew her off, then the director of the place tried to tell her she COULD not get a second opinion, which is untrue. I hope they are paid up on their malpractice insurance. EDIT they have since done a bit better addressing our issue. They deserve credit for rectifying a bad situation.

The experience we had tonight was one I wish I could go back and do over as a parent. I felt I truly failed my 14-year-old son. He went snowboarding at Buck Hill and broke his arm just below his wrist. It was pretty obviously broken as it was out of place and bulging on one side as well as lots of swelling. I was at home when this happened and my wife called to tell me she was taking him to the ER. We met at Ridges and one of our friends mentioned they had used Twin Cities Orthopedics in Burnsville. My wife called and confirmed they were open as it was 5 pm on a Saturday. When we got to TCO, there was absolutely no wait. They took him back rather quickly and did an x-ray soon after arriving as well. Confirmed as a broken bone and they would need to set it back into place before putting on a splint for the night until casting later in the week. My son was in considerable pain and I asked if they could give anything for pain. A shot, anything? Nothing. They would give a lidocaine shot at the broken bone location and this should have numbed it so they could set it. Wrong! He was in excruciating pain and screamed bloody murder. Why would the urgent care type clinic not have anything for pain to offer??! Why not advise this and we would have gone to the ER??! Not until after the X-ray was done were we advised nothing could be offered. Such a horrible experience to have your son scream in pain with nothing that worked to dull the pain even a little. They did give him a prescription of Tylenol 3 for use after he got home. I would seriously consider how severe the injury was before taking anyone here. We won’t be back there. Pain management was zero! Feedback from TCO staff is greatly appreciated.

Went in their clinic on a Monday with severe (cant overstate this) back pain. The Dr/NP didnt really listen to my concerns, gave me some ibuprofen and then I had to plead to get an MRI done that day.Came back to the clinic that evening to get the MRI done, still in unbearable pain I ask for something stronger, she wrote me a script for 5 oxys (I get the opioid epidemic and all that, but cmon) to get me through the WEEK.The next morning I woke up with a paralyzed right leg with no ability to control my foot or toes. Rushed to the Abbott ER (much better) and then rushed to emergency surgery. I had a 26x13mm herniation and crushed my nerves. It took me weeks to re-learn how to move my foot and toes and doctors say it may take years to regain feeling in my leg.I should have never wasted my time with TCO, and wont ever again.Update: I have reached out to the email below 5 (5!!!) times with no response. Just another example of how TCO is all talk and no walk.

Do not go to TCO! They prescribe unnecessary items that are not covered by insurance - although they will tell you it is covered. TRIA is much better, and does not engage in these unethical practices. Only reason I attended TCO was because I could not get an appointment at TRIA on the day/time I needed - now I know why. TCO has lots of openings because everyone wants to go to TRIA.

I would not go back here for anything. VERY poor service! To give an idea of just how bad...I not only had to consult a second opinion, but a malpractice lawyer as well. I have a spiral fracture in my fibula and a large ankle fracture. They sent me back to work and wanted to start me on PT. I have made over a dozen phone calls stating cleary I am extremely uncomfortable and I dont feel I am where the doctor is saying I should be at this point, maybe we are overlooking an underlying issue here. My own employer refused to let me work if that says anything. TCOS reponse... go back to work ( light duty, which is non existent at my job), ice and maintain your pain with tylenol and Ibprophen. After consulting a second opinion, they advised me to do the exact opposite based off of a simple x-ray and could see clear as day there was poor placement of a screw that has entered into my joint. Told me to stay off it and set me up with a CT scan in the near future to take a closer look. Oh and they sent me home with a paper copy of my non working status.... (TEAM TRIA ROCKS) TCO is a joke and do not care or look at all aspects of your injury. You are just a number and they almost go out of their way to make you feel every bit of that. Complete disappointment and very hurtful.
