Ive been here a few times and seen different waxers and my experience has been just ok. Today was good enough for me to leave a review. My waxer was Allysa, she was friendly, chatty and somehow my wax seemed much less painful than usual. I loved her and will ask for her from now on. Highly recommend! Oh and front desk lady was super nice too, forgot her name. Overall experience awesome!!!

Got my upper lip, bottom lip and chin waxed. Was done within 10 minutes. The waxer used tweezers however, and I didnt mind that in the moment; but next time I just want my face waxed since thats why i came in.

I went in there really scared for my first Brazilian wax. Olivia was my waxer and was so warm and welcoming. She explained the entire process to me, help me become more confident in myself and really made it a fun experience all around. the waxing was quick, thorough and I left there feeling more confident in myself then I ever have. She did an amazing job. I will definitely be returning to get waxed by her again.

The esthetician who did my service was very friendly. The part that really upset me was when I accidentally missed my second appointment and the guest service clerk called me and was extremely rude basically lecturing me about missing my appointment and when I said I never received a call about reminding me she basically called me a liar. I don’t think I’ll be back to this location. I’ll just go back to Shakopee, they always treat me with respect.

Want to give them more stars for how friendly the front end staff is, but the actual waxing left much to be desired.Brought our son in for his eyebrows (dreaded unibrow). She waxed his unibrow, trimmed his eyebrows, and cleaned up around his brows in general. Sadly, there is no male eyebrow wax pricing, so you pay the full amount even if you just want the middle portion removed.While waxing she had a hard time removing the wax and would have to pull multiple times. His unibrow was left barely done. She told us the hair would “wipe off” when he showered. It did not.When you pay $22.00 + tip for a wax, I expect the hair to be fully removed. It’s already looking like it needs to be done and we have weeks to go before his next schedule appt.I think we’ll be canceling and finding another spot, or requesting a new waxer.

I was referred by a friend to try out the European Wax in Burnsville. I had gone to other locations in the past and just wasnt 100% satisfied with the service. My friend was seeing Evie and swore by her, so I gave it one more shot. She was very warm and made me feel so welcomed. She listened to my concerns about my past experience and even apologized for those past times. She reassured me that this time would be different, and It definitely was. I was beyond happy! She was very gentle and coached me through the whole service. I will definitely be continuing my waxing at this location with Evie.

I have seen Morgan, Hannah and Francine.All of them are lovely. I like it here. Clean, efficient, friendly, professional. The setting is more clinical, which is just fine for me. Today Francine informed me I could save money, as I personally didnt require a repeat service each time I come in. I really liked her a lot. Ive managed to get in under the gun too, as my schedule is tight a lot. I did get a referral credit on my visit today. Very nice!

I went to shave on Tuesday and the wax used on my face burned a lot.I felt pain at the time but I thought that with the hours I would feel better and it wasnt like that.Now I have to go to the doctor and my face is burned and I dont feel wellI paid $ 94 and the service was not professionalit was a very bad experienceI have my face burned

The front desk had to cancel my appointment and wasn’t willing to accommodate my schedule, just offered to cancel it! I made the appointment over week and ago and planned it around my schedule and my day off! Do not go to this location!!!

Today was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed. I usually got them threaded but I always had different ladies do my eyebrows so my shape would change all the time :( But I LOVED this place!!! I had Sarah and she talked me through the process and made sure I was happy with my results! I highly recommend Sarah. I was very nervous but she was very calm and nice. Waxing hurts so much less than threading since with threading they take out the hairs one by one and with the wax it is very quick and doesn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would. It hurts but not bad enough that I couldn’t handle it. The results are amazing!! I have never had much shape before and now I have a nice shape that I am very happy with. I am very glad with my results and will continue to go here to get my eyebrows done!

This location has a great staff - always so friendly and helpful. the waxer made me feel really comfortable and relaxed and Maritza at the front desk explained all the packages and products so well and gave me great recommendations. Will be back soon for more services!

Let me tell you about the only company I will get waxed at probably for the rest of my life: This European Wax Center location rocks. I have been waxed at other places and they simply do not compare. First the wax they use is great. It is a hard wax so they just put the wax on the skin and it hardens and they pull it off. I love that this offers less waste and it is gentler on the skin. Second the staff is great. Their front desk ladies are always friendly and their aestheticians are very knowledgeable. I see Liz on a regular basis for a full Brazilian wax and I have always been amazed with her level of professionalism and her ability to remember me and details about my life to make the experience more personable. It has never been the least bit awkward or uncomfortable. She is always thorough at her job and cares about the quality of her work (in other places where I have felt rushed out the door I have never felt this at European Wax Center). Third, they offer great deals if you buy your waxes in packages (youre going to get it done anyways, might as well get a deal). You can even get points on your account for signing up for your next appointment before you leave. Overall, if you need to get waxed it just makes sense to go somewhere that specializes solely in waxing and offers a comfortable, professional environment to its customers.

I was very nervous to come in because I have had a bad experience with waxing in the past. But immediately after walking into the Burnsville location I was greeted by Michelle at the desk. I went there two weeks ago and thank God I didnt have to pay. The service was great I loved the girl but my eyebrows grew back 4 days later thicker than ever. I felt like there was a serum they put on to make you come back sooner. The young worker told me they should last a month........Wont be going back. Honestly lasted 4 days and its 21$. Not worth it unless you have money to blow🙄

Had a free first time eyebrow wax. I believe the womans name was Melissa (hope thats right). Ive been getting them done at a salon and even though this is 5$ more its TOTALLY WORTH the few extra bucks. Nice and clean place. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will DEFINITELY be a regular customer here and I will take advantage of the yearly unlimited pass well worth the money.

I had my first wax ever(did a braz) on February 12th with Krista. I was early so Caitlyn at the desk was very help with questions about their wax pass membership. Krista took great care of me and calmed my nerves down. I ended up purchasing the body exfoliater and serum wipes to prevent ingrowns which was the reason i wanted to try waxing vs shaving. Its been a few weeks now and im so happy with the results and deffs getting the wax pass set up me next visit!

I have been going to Liz for about 3 years now for Brazilians, and she is amazing! She is always kind and comforting. She is great at making sure youre distracted so you forget the pain, ha. I always recently had her do my eyebrows (I am very much a snob about my hair and brows, and have gone to the same person for nearly 6 years). I wanted to bow down to Liz after she did my eyebrows -- perfection!! I highly recommend Liz for any service, but especially Brazilian or brow wax!

I’m only giving 1 star because of one waxer. Evie was so rude and full of herself, to the point where I felt uncomfortable. To top it off, the wax was the most painful wax I have ever experienced here.I have seen probably all of the other waxers and they were amazing, but Evie did not come even close to par with those other waxers. I recommended to see anyone BUT Evie, unless you are willing to have bruises and listen to someone who thinks she runs the world.

I was so nervous for my first wax, but Ashley was incredible and helped me feel super comfortable! Ive seen one other person who was also great, but I will continue to see Ashley. All of the girls Ive interacted with at this location have been great!

Kaitlin their receptionist explained everything that the Esthetician would do during our appointment and the products that they would use. She immediately calmed my nerves. I then noticed that there was a recent review who also had a horrible experience here with the same waxer. I will second that Evie is a person who could care less about you, all she does is make a mess and get you out the door. She doesn’t care if it hurts or if you have more hair. She is very entitled and shows it.I plan to come back soon and try another waxer, b/c I see many are recommended. Just wanted to leave this here to save some people, and help send them to a waxer that isn’t Evie. I hope my next experience is as good as other reviewers are saying.
