The care my family and I received at Full Spectrum went above and beyond what I could have imagined. It was by far the best experience I have ever had. I would without a doubt recommend them, if you are unsure or on the fence about a home birth call them and set up a meeting! I promise you wont regret it. Having our third baby at home allowed my other two children to be very involved in the whole process and they still talk about when their baby brother was born (almost a year later). I know it was a positive and special experience for them as well.

Where to begin?! My birth experience was amazing, without a doubt the best day ever. The care and time that April, Peggy, Shari, and Ivyrose provided throughout my pregnancy and birth was above and beyond what I had expected. They made both my husband and I feelat home when in the office for check ups. They were informative but never pushy, encouraging but never forceful, and so so so supportive. My husband and I had the best pregnancy and birth experience with April, Peggy, Shari and Ivyrose! We went in for our first appointment with them thinking we would like them to assist a hospital birth, but after talking to them we felt complete trust and confidence that we could do a home birth and they would be there to support us along the way! We felt completely comfortable and taken care of at each appointment, and they spent so much time with us answering any questions we had. They made us feel so safe and cared for before, during, and after the birth of our baby! I will go to them for all of my babies to come!

The women at Full Spectrum supported my partner and I through two miscarriages and then the prenatal care/birth of our daughter. I cannot recommend them enough. Though we ended up at the hospital for delivery, Peggy was with us every step of the way including at the hospital. I am forever grateful for their empathy, wisdom, and care.

Choosing Full Spectrum for my pregnancy, birth and postpartum care was truly one of the best decisions Ive ever made in my life. My only regret is not transferring my care to them sooner (~20 weeks)! I decided to go the home birth route for my second pregnancy in the hopes that I would have a more empowering, intervention free birth than my previous experience. The care I got from Full Spectrum was incredible. I felt safe and heard at my appointments, and was comforted in knowing they were monitoring me closely because of my history with high blood pressure and preeclampsia. The women at FS are professional, knowledgeable, and provided evidence-based care - always making sure we understood all of our options. At 37 weeks, Peggy even helped flip my baby from breech to head down position. That alone was a magical experience! At the end of my pregnancy my blood pressures caught up with me and I risked out of the home birth Id hoped for, but Peggy and April never left my side. They coordinated my care with the midwives at the hospital (they are clearly very well respected in the community!) and came with me to the hospital to make sure I still had the intervention free birth Id hoped for. The experience was still everything I wanted/needed and more, and I know it would not have been possible without them! Although I am done having babies, I will definitely be back to see them for my routine care moving forward. To know the ladies of Full Spectrum, is to love them.

We were blessed to have our 5th home birth earlier this month with assistance from Full Spectrum Midwifery. These ladies are compassionate, professional, and sensitive, and they work wonderfully as a team, all bringing unique gifts to the table. We would recommend this practice to anyone seeking exceptional care.

April, Peggy & the whole Full Spectrum team are incredible! I switched to their practice at about 22 weeks and they welcomed me with open arms. I went from 10 minute OBGYN appointments to hour long midwife appointments, I felt far more comfortable with the midwives and they truly got to know me and my family, even asking about how my dogs were doing. They always respected my wishes and gave me all options to consider and provided me with their thoughts and opinions if I asked. Unfortunately, all did not go according to plan and we ended up having a hospital birth, however, they were with us every step of the way and were at the hospital with us for 24+ hours assisting in my birth. I could not recommend Full Spectrum Midwifery more if you’re considering a homebirth!!

We love the Full Spectrum Midwifery team!! After our first visit with Peggy, April & Ivyrose, we felt so comfortable and excited in our decision for a home birth. All our questions were answered with confidence and lack of judgement, and we had a lot as new parents! We were blessed with twins, so unfortunately didn’t get to have a home birth, but the team supported us in the process of finding the right hospital, continued support up until and during birth, and also provided in home postpartum care to our newborns. We couldn’t be any happier with our care. If we decide to have more children in the future, we will be SO excited to work with Full Spectrum Midwifery again.

I used Full Spectrum Midwifery for both of my births. The prenatal care was so thorough and compassionate. I felt supported and educated in every decision I made. Their approach to care seems very evidence based which made me feel safe and in good hands for a homebirth. My first birth was in the hospital and they supported me there and afterwards every step of the way. I was able to have the second at home. It was such an amazing experience. April was the midwife for that birth and Shari and IvyRose were there as well. Wow!! There are no words to describe the gentle strength they bring to a stressful situation.I don’t think I’ll have another kid, but almost want to just so I can have another homebirth with them 😊

We switched to having a homebirth in the third trimester after learning that our daughter would not be able to attend our birth in a hospital setting due to Corona virus. Being a midwife myself, I was already aware of Full Spectrum’s positive presence in the birth community. I had also met both Peggy and April before and immediately liked them. Getting to know Shari (who attended our birth) and Ivyrose solidified our thoughts that the whole team was wonderful! They were the perfect blend of providing holistic care and medical care when it was needed. Their very up-to-date, evidenced-based nutrition guidelines and obstetric management protocols complemented their knowledge of herbal medicine, infinite emotional support, and their dedication to protect of the sacred aspects of pregnancy and birth. Full Spectrum Midwifery was part of both of my pregnancies and I would have them again if I were to have another child. I couldn’t imagine doing it without all of the LOVELY LOVELY ladies! We had a beautiful home birth and excellent prenatal care with the team at Full Spectrum. April, Peggy, Sharri and IvyRose were attentive, caring, knowledgable and skilled. We feel SO lucky to have found them and to have worked with them.

I had my son in 2017 and my daughter this past fall with FSM. I always felt valid and listened to, well cared for, and safe. Having a full hour at every office visit left plenty of time to get to know the team and ask any and every question that could come to mind. If there was one reason to go with a homebirth it would be the excellent postpartum care and attention. These women really do care about you and your babies.

We had Peggy & Shari as our birth team & it was an amazing experience. We switched from an OBGYN at around 7 months to FSM, I was sick of feeling like just another number in the books. I wanted individualized personal, and loving care & that’s exactly what I got! Peggy & Shari always explained the choices that I had, with the pros & cons. They are extremely knowledgeable & also respectful of the choices that I thought were best for me & baby. Although we weren’t there long, beginning in my third trimester, we quickly formed a great relationship & look forward to having them for future pregnancies!
