Caring staff, clean facility, good daycare structure, really get to know each dog individually and support their specific needs. And there is a cute store front with high quality food, treats and cute toys. and they sell raw food!

Cannot say enough good things about PDP the staff is outstanding. Both friendly and detailed. They are very accomidating and give great updates when asked. The pup loves it here and gets excited whenever we walk in to run and say hi.

The staff here are incredible. So many of them had special bonds with my last dog and they are already so attentive and informed about the needs of my new pup. I always feel fantastic about leaving my dog at PDP, because I know the staff care about her and are watching out for her. Plus, shes having a blast and is developing positive socialization skills.

Upon picking up my pup from his very 1st half day at PDP at 1pm, the person at the counter remarked THREE TIMES during our interaction that I was the first person there that morning, as if it were a problem. (Youre open, whats the problem?) They also told me that We usually tell people with puppies that they should only come for 3 or 4 hours at a time. This information would have been much more useful had it been stated when I dropped him off, not after his day there, how should I know unless you tell me? My phone number is on file, call me, dont embarrass me in the lobby while multiple other people stand there waiting for their dogs and listening. Oh, and then theres the kennel cough! One half day there and now we have kennel cough. Thanks, PDP. We will never go again.Based on the patronizing way I was spoken to in the lobby, I imagine any response will be rude and blaming me for everything, but from my POV, you had every opportunity to tell me what I shouldve done but chose to embarrass me afterwards instead of instructing me beforehand. I am so sorry I showed up when you opened. I am so sorry for bringing my pup for a half day when completely unaware of your suggested timeframe. I am so sorry for my continuing vet bills because of the kennel cough you supplied my pup with who put my other dog and cat at risk. I am so sorry I ever stopped foot in that building. Never again.

The best

Very poor experience here. Bought shoes for my dog that they wouldn’t allow me to return. Every other pet store I’ve gone to has a decent exchange policy except for here. Will never be returning and will be warning my fellow dog owner friends.

Very good experience for the dogs, dont get me wrong. The staff are very good with the dogs. However, almost every time I come to grab my dog, during busy hours, the wait is VERY long. Usually 20, sometimes 30 (!) minutes. Only gave 2 stars for this reason as it is very frustrating after a day of work. Would like to see them have more staff running dogs to their owners during busy hours, if possible. Would love to change to 5 stars.

Play Dog Play is a wonderful doggie daycare. We started taking our dog here just over three years ago to join in their Sunday puppy playgroups. It was a great socialization opportunity, and he loved it. Once he graduated from there, we did the basic obedience training, which was really helpful as it was my first dog. Since then, he has been visiting a couple of days a week. He always comes back happy and exhausted from playing with his friends and tennis ball time. Its so convenient to get him a bath or a nail clipping too. I give this place five stars and trust them with my baby!

Great doggie daycare

I do not recommend Play Dog Play for passing visitors to the Burlington area due to their interview requirement, which seems more suited to permanent residents who can schedule an interview and wait for an appointment at a later time. I would advise passing visitors who wish canine care to check with other kennel care facilities in the Burlington area.

We love Play Dog Play! Our dog went 3x/week for 8.5 years and every time was a happy experience. We moved away, otherwise Avatar would still be enrolled. Everytime we picked him up we got a verbal report about his day. We miss the fabulous and friendly staff!

Everyone at Play Dog Play loves dogs. Even better, the owners understand dogs. If you get to chatting with them you will learn something. I have always gone away happy knowing my dogs will be treated well.

Absolutely love this place and these guys. They are amazing with my dog. He comes home and sleeps and wants nothing else! And when I board him they send photos!

Went in because I wanted to get my dog a new leash and a non plastic wrapped snack. Was successful on the latter. Saw the doggie daycare play group window was right there, being Im addicted to dogs and a veterinary technician of 17 years and someone who had been part of a Fear Free and Cat Friendly Practice for many years, I couldnt resist. Immediately the dogs were happy to see a human. Then the shorter statue lady, walking around with what was equivocal to a straight Shepards hook leashes up the hound in the group with a very sour face and bad body language. The dog barked happily at me. Immediately all the dogs showed fear in this woman. I wouldnt have supported them if I wasnt just looking for a nice snack for my spoiled dogs. I wouldnt recommend the doggie daycare here. Plus the place was loaded with BEG pet foods (boutique, exotic, and grain free) of which the dog population is the laboratory testing for.

I cant even describe how much my dog loved this place. We recently moved and I can tell he misses it as much as we do. Best place on earth for your dog!

After an unexpected family tragedy, the staff at Play Dog Play lacked complete empathy and understanding regarding the situation and an in-home boarding reservation. The front desk staff was rude and short with me after several phone calls. I had used PDP several times in the past but after this situation, would not recommend them to anyone in the Burlington area.

The staff here is awesome, and its a very convenient place.

Lola Evans LOVES going there, so much so that she comes home completely exhausted from playing herself silly. I dont have to worry about my beautiful little girl one second, and it is reasonably priced as well.

My Tressa just loves coming here, she is a tired dog at the end of the day. Hannah at the desk is great, I love how she knows every dog and every parent.

Amazing place to send your dog to day care or board. The staff is friendly, centered around what is best for your individual dog, the dogs interact in a controlled way, and I always pick up one tired pup at the end of the day! Our dog did not do well at other Day Cares but we have had zero problems at PDP. They make sure they monitor her water intake, give her breaks, and keep her safe. Even better when we board her they send us pictures just to let us know how she is doing. Have you checked out their Instagram or Facebook page? PDP is a fantastically run business.
