I have had an amazing experience here! Everyone I had the pleasure of being around was kind and personable. The receptionists were good and friendly! The two nurses were great as well! Tammy was helpful and kind! Jackie remembers who I was, what was going on in my life, and overall very kind. Jackie also was helpful in surgery with calming me down and telling me I was doing great! Jackie also helped distract me from what all was going on! Dr.Moye is fabulous as well and I would highly recommended her! She was knowledgeable, extremely personable, and obviously cared for her patients! Dr. Moye did an excellent job and was able to care for my needs even at 3am! Overall, extremely excellent place to go!

Took my little one here for her warts and they removed several. There is a pesky one on her hand and the first treatment didnt work, so they adapted and told us it was a different virus they did a spot treatment and some sort of skin desensitization and it is already working. They do have a wait sometimes but the staff and doctors are great. If they can help my family then it is worth the wait! A place that is busy is a good sign!

This place gets one star simply due to being easy to schedule an appointment. However, there are MAJOR problems with this place. My original appointment was to address long-lasting poison ivy. The doctor rudely pointed out that I also have acne and asked if I wanted to try medication for it...lol thanks. I tried it and it worked well. Several months passed and suddenly they wouldn’t approve me for more, claiming I need to schedule an appointment for a check up. However, they literally didn’t even know my dosage and approved the prescription for half of my normal dosage. I’m now quickly weaning from this medication and will never visit again based on this carelessness, disorganization, and overall rudeness.

My father has been going here for years and always states how good of care the doctors and staff take of him. He recently went and saw Dr. Moye, and he said that she was super knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. The staff genuinely cares for the patients and it shows.

The wait time is insane!!! We took a family member who could not take himself. Appointment was for one hour...we were there 25 minutes early in order to fill out any paperwork they may have. One hour and 40 minutes later he was called to the examining room ... maybe 10 minutes later the doctor arrives. Best I can figure they double or triple book and if they see you $$$ in their pockets...and you the customer/patient waits. You, and your time (or your caregivers time) is not important. This may be fine for some...but this was stressful on the patient waiting (who already has other health issues), and being a caregiver this was difficult for us because we also have elderly parents we need to care for and grandchildren we take care of as well. To me it is disrespectful to their customers>>>Their Patients!!!! The doctor I am sure knows what he is doing and no complaints there. I just think they should be more considerate of the patients. ....and will add......if this is a positive review they are all about responding.......if it is a complaint and it is a TRUE COMPLAINT......I DOUBT they care to try and fix it. They certainly dont say I am sorry and we will work to do better.

Waited over an hour to be seen!! I had seen Doctor Stewart before so that is why I came back. Unfortunately, if it had been after a certain amount of time you are considered a new patient??! Had a suspicious spot removed which took all of 2 minutes to numb it and scrape it off!Received a bill for $500 with insurance!!$260 new patient fee!! (Which I was not new.)$350 to scrape off the small spot!!Without insurance would been $157.50 whenI asked why wasnt I given a choice on how I could pay I was told by Lonnie in billing that it was illegal for her to tell me that. How about it should be illegal what they are charging people! Ive called around other places and they couldnt believe what I was being charged!! I should be able to be a self pay! Will be reporting to the attorney general and BBB!

I had been going to Alamance Skin Center for several years. The center is nice and clean, however, the customer service piece of the business is unprofessional and poor. For the past couple of years when they schedule an appointment you need to know that you will wait for at least an hour over your scheduled appointment. This past year it was over an hour past my appointment and I went to the front desk and told them I was leaving. They are inconsiderate of their customers time. I have since scheduled with another dermatologist that is more mindful of time and appointments. No one ever called me to apologize of acknowledge the issue, which to me shows even poorer professionalism and care for the patient. As for the actual dermatologists, the woman I worked with was really thorough. Her bedside manner is not super warm and fuzzy but she does her job. She did remove a pretty big spot on my back last year and my one complaint is that she was not mindful as to the scar or stitching. The spot is not quite big and could have been a smaller long time scar had she been more precise and mindful with her stitching. Overall, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and Im pretty unhappy with their overall customer service in general.

I just want to thank Dr. Kowalski and the staff at Alamance Skin Center for working me in this morning. I woke up with an allergic reaction all over my face. Eyes swollen, not much feeling in my chin from the swelling and red itchy patches all over. They got me in and treated. I’m very thankful. I’ve been going to Alamance Skin Center and Dr Kowalski for over 15 years. They have treated me and my two sons. Thank you all for such exceptional care over the years.

Very poor customer service here. The wait time is horrible. I was in with a visit with Dr. Stewart. Horrible Doctor. I ask why I had these problems and was told it could be worst. No information was provided. They were more concerned with how they were gonna receive payment than treating me. During my visit after a long wait in the waiting room I was greeted by a Doctor and the nurse who seemed like they were half asleep. Find other skin care facilities that actually care about there patient’s.

Dr. Virginia Moye is the outstanding dermatologist that discovered a melanoma on the chest of my aunt. My Aunt Betty is blind and has been all her life. Patient blindness requires special caretaking, especially considering the multiple poor experiences she has had throughout her life with doctors that talk to loud or dont talk to her at all, only to the caretaker who brought her to appointments. Dr. Moye took that time and paid that extra attention to her, holding her hand while speaking to her, giving information directly to my aunt throughout all the visits and procedures, putting her fears to rest with her professional, caring manner. I want to recognize Dr. Moye and her nurse, Jill, for the excellent manner and incredible caring they has shown to my aunt. I have thanked Dr. Moye multiple times in the office, but wanted to be sure the rest of the staff are aware of the absolute awesomeness of this dermatologist. Thank you!! Sincerely, Stephanie Stroble

I went here for several years and yes, the staff was not very helpful and often had conversations while you were waiting to be checked in. Also providers were dry, unhelpful and sometimes not professional. I elected to change doctors and am very happy with the services that i now receive.

I have been a patient of Dr Kowalski and the Skin Rejuvenation spa for many years. I have always been thoroughly impressed with Dr Kowalskis bedside manner and his vast array of knowledge. The only complaint I could give is that the wait time is very long. But with that being said, the Doctors there will extend their time and full attention to you when you are being seen so it is worth the wait.

I only gave it 1 star just so I could write the review...otherwise it would be zero. I should have paid more attention to reviews before going there.. like the one...they are just milking people etc. I was a new patient and only had 5 squirts of the freezing liquid on suspicious spots and Dr. Stewart was only in with me a very short time...she kept looking at the nurse when I asked questions like she wasnt sure how to answer...didnt give me a secure feeling about her at all. Also, I waited a very long time once I got in the room. But to top it all off ...I just received my bill..the charge they sent to my insurance was $610 ???????? Yeah...dont waste your time or money..go somewhere else. The amounts they charge are insane...disgusting really. Biggest waste of money and I will share this with anyone who will listen.

I dont know what the others are talking about on here but the staff and doctors ARE SUPER NICE AND WELCOMING :) love this place. They exaplin stuff to a T and answer all your questions. I got botox in my armpits for my hyperhidrosis and they went over the limit to see if my insurance will accept it. Called their offices and everything, I didnt have to pick up the phone but once to answer questions.

I would advise to not go here for acne treatment. The head doctor is very unkind and makes customers feel like a waste of time. Me, my sister, and a friend have gone here for acne treatment and have seen varied improvement in our skin. The biggest concern is the treatment of customers. I was interested about some of the medication I was being prescribed and asked questions about how it worked and if it would affect my current medication (I was perscribed an antibiotic). The doctor replied back in very snide remarks and was overall unhelpful and sassy. I waited over an hour for my appointment and this seems to be the case every time I go in for an appointment. I have visited this establishment a few times over three years and the doctor is always running late. My appointment with him ended up only being a couple of minutes. He barely looked at my skin and I had to point out things for him to relook at it. He had his hand on the door the entire time, like he had another place to be. This practice makes me feel unvalued and unappreciated and I will not be returning back.

Years ago, our UNDERAGE daughter went on Accutane. Behind our back (i.e., without our knowledge) and against our persistent and clear wishes, Dr. Dawn Kleinman gave my daughter a refillable (!) birth control prescription. Extremely unethical to ignore the parentss explicit instructions. Stop treating her, yes, but dont just ignore parents and make that call yourself! When we found out, we discontinued Accutane and never went back. Watch out for this practice.

My daughter had a dentist appt coming up so I called Alamance SKIN care to see if she could get in that same day to see about a skin rash.I told the receptionist about her dentist appt (that was 1 1/2 hours later) she said oh that will be plenty of time for her to be seen here and make her dentist appt. The day of the appt my daughter and I waited for an hour and 15 minutes. I told the receptionist we needed to leave for her dentist appt. The receptionist asked if we could come back that afternoon. When we came back, no one apologized and DR.K certainly didnt and was not very nice to my 6 year old daughter. They must not have the patience for children. Also they charged me $160 for a new patient fee, when I was not a new patient. I will never give them another dime. Also, the women that brings you back to the room (Not sure if shes a nurse) not friendly.

With the good there is always bad. I went in needing a procedure but dr kowalski wanted me to go thru injections and creams instead of removing the problem. When i refused, he stated he would do the procedure and assured me that if he did it his way instead of my preference it would have better results. Well, needles to say the area is worse now and his advice is to keep paying for injections and creams andfor the rest of life. They are all about milking people for money. Money is in the treatment, not the cure and that was proven by dr kowalski and Lisa jones (office manager)
