New patient, but it felt like I had been a patient for years! Immaculate facility. Ladies in the front office were genuinely kind & welcoming. Only in for a check up & cleaning, but dental staff was thorough, informative and caring.

My 1st visit to Skagit Dental Design today was amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcome. The hygienist I believe her name was Sarah was very thorough and gentle and very concerned about my comfort. My teeth have not been cleaned this good ever. The Dentist was very kind and explained things in a way that was understood and there was no pressure for the recommended treatment. Feeling very fortunate for my friend Liz Stewarts recommendation when I needed a new Dentist . Thank you Lizzy❤️

The Skagit Dental Design office is the best dental office I have ever been to. From stepping in the door with their excellent attention to COVID19 details to the front desk with her great attention to detail. Today I saw the Dental Hygienist and I can tell you without a doubt it was the first time I have had my teeth cleaned with out being in pain and uncomfortable. I felt well cared for. She always kept my mouth feeling like it was rinsed and I was not ever needing attention. She was very careful and attentive to each tooth and making notes for the dentist. It felt like the whole office was working together. I highly recommend everyone to come to this office. I always felt as if no expenses were spared to make sure I was comfortable from the blanket to the sunglasses and the bag of goodies to go home with and take care of my teeth. Good job by every person who made this appointment happen.

Broke a tooth and needed a crown. This is the event that brought me to this wonderful practice. Cost of services is fair, but even more importantly are the doctors and staff! Gentle, knowledgeable, skilled professionals as far as the doctor’s and tech’s are concerned. The support and admin. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. A big part of my current robust health is due to the help experienced at Skagit Dental Design over the last 6 years or so. All the staff there are better than previous dentist shops. Not all dentist shops are the same. S.D.D. is a better experience by EVERY measure.

They so professional yet so laid back and just great people all the way around. I had my 1st appointment at Skagit Dental Design. Tessa & Anna were very patient getting my X-rays, I have a strong gag reflex & started to get a migraine, but they gave me sunglasses and a towel to cover my eyes and block out light. Dr. Holden explained my cracks and getting a crown very well. Kristin did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Everything was extremely sanitary. Great first visit!!Edit: I just had my teeth cleaned, 1st cleaning of 2021, it’s late March, 2021, my previous appointments were in October-November 2020, as well as my husband’s. He has periodontal disease, so he had his 1st cleaning a few weeks ago, our insurance, Delta Dental covers 4 cleanings a year for him, 2 per year for me. All the visits we have had at Skagit Dental Design have been terrific.

Very friendly and attentive hygienist, kept me comfortable throughout my cleaning and was able to make adjustments for my comforts sake. This is the one dentist I can remember being at that is able to work around my trick lower lip without hurting it. Also very accurate with their Cavitron aim.

I have been to Skagit Dental Design several times over the last few months trying to catch up on some dental work. Its been a great experience. They are great at doing what they can to make you comfortable. I hate going to to dentist more than most people so it is nice to have people who seem to care that you are nervous or anxious about being there. I recommend it for sure.

Great place to get five star service. All of the staff at this office is very friendly and professional to deal with. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The front desk staff is very friendly and very helpful with anything that you have questions about. The dentist does a great job and is quick and very dedicated to your comfort and care. All the rest of the staff is great and makes your visit to the dentist enjoyable. I have been going here for years and when my kids are old enough, they will be future patients too.

Theres a screening process, and numerous safety measures being taken ! So I felt comfortable being there, as always my experience with Dr .Herndon and staff was a good experience . Highly recommend this dental office!!!!! 9/ 2020 ANOTHER UPDATE went for bi annual cleaning, the precautions they take are above and beyond. Liz, the receptionist, was extraordinarily helpful, got back to me immediately on the phone and i found the rest of the office staff to be equally efficient. Dr. Hernan was thorough, gentle and talked me through everything. Dr. Hernons entire staff was very professional and punctual. I went in for a routine cleaning and the exam turned into a peridontal l exam instead. Dr. Hernons Assistant completed the necessary exam and ex-rays. Dr. Hernon then made a consultation appointment. I am very pleased and will continue ant necessary dental needs with Dr. Hernon. Karen Homitz is the best dentist I have ever seen. I was originally referred to her by an oral surgeon, and decided to give her office a chance after reading about her experience and charity work on the offices website. All of her staff are kind, knowledgeable, and deal with anxious patients very well. The hygienist I worked with explained her actions every step of the way and performed a pretty extensive new patient exam. Karen herself was very easy to talk to and was described by her staff as a perfectionist. Its been a few days since my appointment, and Ive had zero pain after my cleaning. In the past, Ive had dentists aggravate my TMJ or cause my gums to bleed extensively, so I was relieved to recover so quickly. Ive never had a more relaxing, pain free dental experience. I highly recommend this practice.

This was a follow up visit on a problematic wisdom tooth - yes im one of those weirdos that still has his wisdom teeth, and I plan on keeping them. Anyway, Dr. Hernon thoroughly examined the tooth and very calmly and explained what my options are. She even gave the tooth what I can only describe a a tweak. And ya know it feels a little better. I left very satisfied. Im now pondering my options

Highest quality work. Cut no corners. All staff are at the top of their game. They educate you about all procedures, and how to take the best care of yourself. Dr. Homitz carefully explains all treatment options, but whichever option is chosen, it is completed to the highest standard. I have observed that Dr. Homitz (and staff) are not tolerant of any level of error. It is comforting when you walk out of there, that you know you have received the best work available. Dr. Homitz and staff continually upgrade their skills and training. Dr. Homitz was on the State quality control committee for several years, fully understands the levels of quality needed.

I just had my 6 month cleaning and Drs. Check up. It was a very pleasant experience. Thats saying alot because I usually dont like going to the dentist in general. They have digital xrays now so you can see the instant xray on the computer screen in the exam room. The hygentist and Dr. can show you any areas of concern. I never felt rushed and the hygentist and Dr. were very gentle in their examination. Thank you Dr. Homitz and office personal for a positive experience.
