I have high anxiety when it comes to dental work due to previous trauma. Dr. Mary and Johanna could not have been more understanding. Explained everything and calmed me. Kim at the front desk is so wonderful too. She helped explain insurance and bill with me. I would highly recommend this dental practice to everyone

Dr. Mary Makhlouf is by far the BEST dentist I’ve gone to! She’s honest, caring, extremely gentle, and kind. She’s everything you would want in a doctor and more. Received an excellent and very thorough dental cleaning. The only reservation is that, perhaps because of the patient care provided, there is a lengthy wait for routine appointments.

Doc Mary is fantastic as is her dental hygienist, Ashley! We had been struggling to find a new dentist for our son with severe autism since he aged out of pediatrics (hes now 22). She has been the answer to our prayers. We had an extensive meeting last week, xrays, and cleaning, and she listened and had us be a part of the team in our plan. Our son received great care, and we got terrific information, resources, and support to help with the challenges we face. She was so kind and so encouraging! And weve never met a more knowledgeable and thorough hygienist! So happy and highly recommend!

Dr Makhlouf is the first dentist that had ever really listened to my concerns over allergic reaction I have with the medicine used to deaden my gums. She is very careful to research this to prevent me from having a tacticardia episode. She also gives you all the options for your care and let’s you decide what you want to do with your mouth. So glad I came to her for treatment.

Today I had my first filling in years..actually, an old filling was leaking, and needed replacing- upon further inspection, more area needed to be cleaned out due to the leak and included in the proceedure. This painless procedure was performed ( and narrated step by step) by Dr Mary and her able assistant. It took no time at all- I was driving back home in an hour. If you are not a patient of Dr Makhlouf, you are missing out on who I consider to be the best Dentist and Hygienists in the Triad. I have been going for a few years now and my wife and I both are huge fans of Doc and the service they provide here. The hygienists are all top notch and they do more than just clean your teeth. They educate, and are very proactive in preventative treatment. They give recommendations, options, etc.Since COVID they have installed an impressive negative pressure (I think that is what it is called) air filtration system. The individual rooms are sealed off, the staff is PPEed to the max, and still service is top notch.These folks have put forth maximum effort to continue to do the jobs they were already outstanding at and I look forward to many, many more visits in the years ahead.Thanks Doc!!

She was very caring, provided much detail, and delivered the best of quality service. Once I returned home after my appointment, she called to check in to see how I was doing. Dr. Mary and staff, and Dr. Campbell, will be there for you. As I have said in other reviews, you can find other good Dentists in the local area; but you wont find any better than Dr. Mary. If youre looking for a great dentist, you need to give Dr. Mary a call.

My husband has significant health issues. We were very impressed by the caring professionals on Dr. Makhloufs staff who made his extraction as comfortable as possible. In October 2020, I went for a comprehensive exam and cleaning which were very thorough and provided excellent guidance on how to maintain my dental health.

I have a fear of going to the dentist but know dental care is very important to overall health. Dr Makhlouf is very patient and kind. She is truly caring and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I truly never felt any discomfort. She explained everything throughout the procedure. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Makhlouf is, by far, the best dentist Ive ever had. She and her staff were absolutely amazing.For some reason, I was so nervous at my first visit and they were ALL so warm and comforting. Dr. Makhlouf talked to me about each step in the process. She came and checked on me during my cleaning, and she even offered me the best hug before I left. But thats not all.....to my surprise, I received a handwritten card from Dr. Makhlouf in the mail only days later. I was/am convinced that this is my dentist for life.If you have reservations about going to the dentist, this is definitely the dentist you should pick.

Have never had a dental crown before, but have always heard horror stories about the agony involved. Imagine my surprise this past Monday when I spent much of the afternoon in Dr. Marys office having this first crown attached to old tooth . . . . discomfort, yes; pain, no! She is a caring professional whose staff follows her lead and put the patients comfort first: they are well-trained and know what they are doing, but always keeping the focus on the well-being of the patient. I found the experience of watching the creation of my own crown fascinating! And at the end of the three hours, it was as if that had always been in my mouth, and I was none the worse for wear!

I was taken IMMEDIATELY for a problem I had in my mouth. The service and care is superior. Everyone is so helpful and caring. My husband and I are so grateful to have Dr. Mary as our dentist.

My recent initial visit for an exam and cleaning was amazingly thorough. After leaving Dr. Makhloufs office I felt that she knew me and my teeth more thoroughly than any dentist since the days years ago when I had a dentist for my family and me over a period of at least 25 years. Every person working in Dr. Makhloufs office seemed competent, warm and reassuring. My subsequent visit for dental work was also an experience in warm patient-centered care.

She is the only dentist I trust, and now that Ive moved to another state, Im finding it difficult to go to another dentist (I may travel home just to have my dental visits with her). She is very dedicated to what she does. Her staff have always been friendly and courteous. I have had 5 dentist and over 30 doctors in my 61 years, and this has got to be the best medical practice I have ever been to. A friend of my raved about Dr. Makhlouf so I decided to try her. Ive seen Dr. Makhlouf twice, both times on short notice because of pain. Both times Maria was able to schedule me very quickly, which I really appreciated. Dr. Makhlouf was wonderful! Ive had dentists in the past that Ive liked but Dr. Makhlouf is definitely the best. She takes her time and really explains what is wrong and how her treatment will fix it. She takes a conservative approach; rather than rushing to do major work she will try something less invasive first. She really cares about how you feel, and her fees are very fair. I will be going back to her for all my future treatments
