This place is amazing, I go there every weekend to get my hair done, I will get my hair done with everyone who works in this place, everyone does a very nice job! I love how they talk to me about the products that’s good for my hair. I had dark hair and went lighter I love how they went about the process of lighting my hair, little by little now I have very light undamaged hair. I love it! Their products are amazing, I don’t believe none of the bad reviews about this place and their products. I am very sure these people are just talented and with the help of good products my hair is healthy and still growing, will recommend to anyone! And everyone.

I went to this hair salon because it was a walk-in and couldn’t get an appointment anywhere. I brung my own products to use and told the lady to wash my hair with my products. She combined my products with there products without telling me. After I realized, I asked if there was relaxer in the shampoo and conditioner they used in my hair. She told me there wasn’t but they do use a rinse to help tame kinky/curly hair. As all of this was happening I could hear them talking about me in Spanish because I can understand it!! I have 3c/4a hair and my hair is VERY manageable. I ended up walking out this hair salon without getting my hair half done. The rinse definitely loosened up my curls when I came home and washed it and my scalp is irritated :( I’m hoping my hair goes back to normal after a few wash days. I did a big chop and spent 4 years growing my hair out just to come here and have them ruin it. I would never come back here.

Dropped my granddaughter off to get her hair done. Showed them the first picture of what she wanted and when her mother went to pick her up the second picture is what she walked out with. She cried all the way home. Apparently when my daughter complained to the man at the front counter he said he explained to the stylist but she doesnt speak good English and didnt understand. I dont understand why he didnt just show her the picture. My granddaughter was there for 4 hours. He said come back tomorrow and the owner would fix it but they didnt have the time to do back the next day for 4 more hours.

I love Alexs Salon! Alex has been doing my hair since I was in college. The service is excellent. All of the workers are courteous and very professional. Louisa does my hair and my childrens hair. She is wonderful too!!! Excellent experience!!!

I made appointment Thursday for today. Got to my appointment 10 mins late called and told them I’m running late they told it okay because the person who I scheduled to do my hair was not there yet I get there and they tell me that person who I wanted to do my hair was booked with 4 other ppl. This is the worst hair salon I see why all the good Hairstlyer leave.

My 1st time going to the salon. they speak spanish but there were translator around. very near to my house. i didnt have cash to tip them and they wont allow tipping together with the card. they did my hair nicely. thanks!

While the stylist are talented and I love my hair, they are never on time, keep you waiting, and we’re in a pandemic. When I inquired about the wait, the stylist had an attitude. Safety and the well being of all should be a priority. My services should be relaxing and not filled with anxiety.

I wish I could give ZERO STARS. I get my hair done, it’s time for wash day at my home... it REAKS OF RELAXER. I call and speak to two different people and finally get an answer out of someone that they mix their shampoo and conditioner with RELAXER.. I shampoo TWICE and it still FREAKING SMELLS LIKE RELAXER.. I have 3C/4A hair, very manageable, they had no reason to use that, let alone NOT DISCLOSE THAT THEY MIX RELAXERS IN THEIR PRODUCTS. i will NEVER return to this salon.

Been going here for years but last time I went there they must have mixed relaxer in their shampoo. I’ve washed my hair 5 times and I can still smell the relaxer in my hair. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been natural for 6 -7 years. My hair isn’t even tangly so I’m not sure why it was used. Will never go back.

All the chains are demanding appointments. Alexs had a chair open, and took us immediately.the place was packed, I assume theyre doing great things there.We just got a straight bob, so theres not much to say other then the young woman who cut the hair took her time and it was even.

I enjoyed my experience. Ada did my hair and she was nice. I went in Christmas eve and the salon was packed but I walked in and they started on my hair immediately. I wasnt there long at all and she was really nice.

I like this establishment. It very clean, the two ladies that do my hair are always nice and they dont mind using my hair products.

When the other reviews say there’s a bad attitude in the group, they are EXACTLY right, and they may be talking about Merceles (may not be spelling the name properly). I had been coming for sew ins spending a NICE chunk of money, but she would barely greet you, always had a nasty attitude, and would speak badly (in Spanish) thinking that the English speaking customers couldn’t understand. I wish I had someone else from the shop doing my hair, because everyone else seems very nice! I am a six -figured professional and will gladly take my six-figures somewhere else where I am greeted nicely!! Never again! Take care!

Unfortunately I cant recommend this salon for people with natural, kinky hair. I wear my hair natural and its about shoulder blade length when straightened. They dont know how to detangle without ripping through it. Theyre used to combing through hair with a fine tooth comb from root to tip, which doesnt work for all hair types/lengths. I intimated that to them, but they still didnt really know what they were doing. They know how to style hair, so it looks nice, but definitely dont know how to care for the health of it.

They talk about you like a dog because they think you can’t understand them. My hair stylist complained about my naturally curly hair being tangled and treated me like a sideshow to everyone. Will never come back here again and I am filing a complaint!

I get my daughters hair done here. They always do a great job and their prices are fair.

Great place! I called and got an appointment the same day within the hour. It was Sunday December 23! They were very busy but worked together to make sure everyone got what they needed. I got Color, Highlight and Trim.I choose my hair stylist carefully, my curly fine hair has been easily damaged by many, but Tati was spectacular, with her color and listing to what I wanted..Most of the Stylist are Latinx. While they speak English most of the time Spanish is being spoken in the Salon. This made me feel right at home.

I have had my hair in for almost a month and it still looks the same way it did when I first got it done. The lady was patient and kind considering how thick my hair was. She finished pretty quick too it only to about 2 hours.

I drive 1 hour to get my hair done by Alex and I am so very happy with the results. I have been making this trip about year now Im never disappointed . My color and style is always on point love this salon.

They do good work. However after making two apointments, one on a weekday, at the suggestion of the stylist my daughters hair still took almost five hours to get done. When I first started taking her there it only took two and a half maybe three hours tops. Also,because my daughter was blessed with thick beautiful natural hair,the price increased twice.

Alexs Salon in Burlington Township Spring Commons is one of the best hair salons Ive been to. Not only do they do your hair they care for it as well. I recommend Mika to do your hair. in my opinion she really knows what shes doing when it comes to hair. If your coming to get a trim she wont get scissor happy and cut to much off! Mika is the only African American woman working in that store so trust me, she Knows what shes doing. Not trying to offend any one in that shop but not all of them speak very well English and they wont care for your hair. Although, for the most part they are the most AMAZING hair salon!!!!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!I went to Alexs back in the middle of August for a perm. The lady looked at my hair and asked me what I wanted. I showed her a picture I had on my phone and I told her I wanted permanent loose curls like the pic-that is all she asked me and proceeded to start with the process. I know nothing about perms so I let her do her thing and was looking forward to the end result. She washed my hair and set it in curlers then had me sit for about 1.5hrs to let the solution work its magic. She took me back to the sink to rinse my hair. Started to take the curlers out but noticed my hair wasnt curling. She said I would have to sit for another 45 mins or so. So she put the curlers back in and more solution and had me sit. After the time was up she took me back to the sink proceeded to take the curlers out again-no curls. At that point she asked did you put color in you hair? To which I answered yes, about a week or so ago She started to explain thats why the perm didnt take. That I wasnt supposed to dye my hair prior to the perm and they still charged me after I explained that NO ONE ASKED ME!! How was I supposed to know that? Isnt there a series of questions they should ask prior to doing anything that required chemicals? What if my hair wouldve fell out? Its been 6 weeks and since I paid and no results I went back to see if they could do the perm and they said no! BAD BUSINESS. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK AND ENSURE THAT NO ONE I KNOW GOES THERE!

They did my hair well the 1st time I went thats y I went back ,the second time, the lady burnt me had a attitude the whole timeshe was rolling her eyes and snatched my head really hard while blow drying ,I have damaged her so she was judging me a lot . I will not be going back here at all I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. when I got my hair washed the one girl didnt even wash the glue outta my hair while shampooing she did not scrub my scalp JUST HORRIBLE . I wouldnt take my dog to get groomed there , and oh YEA the back of my neck is burnt all up
