This place is ridiculous! Zero stars if it was possible. I had an appointment scheduled in the breast department for a mammogram and ultrasound due to another lump being found. Last minute before my appointment they called me and left a voicemail to call them back so they can schedule me a sooner appointment, when I called back they said no other appointments were available I said I was just returning the call and thats fine I will keep my same appointment. Then they proceeded to tell me that they dont have any previous imaging (from 7 years ago from another hospital) on file and that I wouldnt be able to go to my appointment and would have to reschedule. I told them that I verified multiple times if I need to bring or have any previous documents again I was told no and last minute they told me this. Ive been calling and leaving messages so they can work with the previous hospital to get the records in time because I had to reschedule my appointment. No One returns calls, i get transferred back and forth from imaging to the front desk at the breast center. Unprofessional!

I love this hospital!! I had kidney surgery here in february and my surgeon and nurses were all beyond fantastic!!! Very professional and nice bedside manner with my being scared of needles. I had an i.v. line in my hand and my arm staples on my left side as my left kidney had to be removed. I actually wanted to stay in the hospital longer lol!!! I got spoiled with the delicious food and super comfortable hospital bed. Unlike my awful time I had at Sequoia hospital in redwood City ( please dont ever go there), the nurses at Mills peninsula really care about the patients needs and listens!!! Can I please give 100 stars??

Overall I had a very positive birthing experience.The staff are caring, responsive and professional. I appreciate all their hard work during the pandemic and with so many births recently. Special shout out to my birthing nurse Rebecca L. She really made a big difference when I was feeling nervous and stressed.They also did a good job at educating new parents. This is my first baby and I feel as prepared as I can be when leaving the hospital.There were decent food options and the room was comfortable. We liked the supplies they provided and bought similar ones to use at home.There were minor issues here and there but they were understandable and less important to me (uncomfortable sleeping situation for husband, creaky rocker/hospital bed, some waiting when things are busy etc…)

Please avoid MD Bradley C. Ching. This is my first experience with horrible medical service. He was very rude, he left after only a 2 minute visit, and charged me $900 dollars for services I did not receive. Theres plenty of good doctors that work here, but if you want great service, please avoid him. Overall, I left this medical center in extreme dept. At the end of the day, I was charged over $4,000 for involuntary medical services I didnt need. I call billing and support for financial assistance but didnt receive any. You say you want to help people who need mental health assistance, but you leave them feeling worst, with a financial burden, for that cherry on top. This just highlights the failure of medical care in the United States.

They did not have staff on duty to run the MRI then they mis read the imaging and almost killed me. Luckily a good ent Dr. Stumbled across my case and told us to run down to Stanford for Emergency surgery to save my life

Sept 24, 2021 I went to the E.R. were I was admitted as HIGH RISK, finally to get help after 4 years of hearing voices and 1 1/2 of 18 suicide attempts. Alex in the mental ward unit approached me extremely aggressively so I ask to be seen by someone else and within 10 mins and security being called I was RELEASED! Review is for Sutter Health, the owner of Mills Peninsula.Sutter health, shame on you. You are an awful hospital trying to take advantage of insurance claims and your patients. If youre going to charge that much, I would expect better service or medical treatment but you have failed me/my family countless times. Your processing of labs takes ridiculously long and your after-hour care for pediatrics is laughable. Whats the point of calling it after hours care if you dont even have access to the medical record? You have some great providers but because you are their larger boss, I will be seeking my care elsewhere.

The stuff here is very professional and took a good care, there were several things to improve, but they really care how to improve the service and all the stuff I put into my questionnaire, happened two years later. The building and equipment are very modern, the facility is clean, and nice garden/patio on the top.

Came in feeling very sick and dehydrated, after waiting for 3 hours for the doctor to see me, As soon as the doctor arrived he said that he had to answer a call and he will be right back. 1 hour later he has not returned. Poor service, and I don’t recommend coming here for treatment unless your trying to stay here the hole day waiting and be treated poorly ! Feel very neglected and upset.

A nightmare the Hospital lobby treated me like a Criminal they stated i couldnt see my dad. Because my mom was with him. After complaining 4 wanna be Security Officers approached me with a nasty attitude, demanding that i leave. I didnt until i asked to talk to my mom. I didnt do nothing. Wrong. Yet i was mistreated.This is the worse hospital i have ever been to. Not Professional at all. We will never come back here. My sister had a big issue ER nurse. About Discrimination. We were treated worse than a Animal. This Hospital is the worst. Lowlife workers.

I would like to thank all the staff at Mills Peninsula hospital for my great experience giving birth on Dec 28. During this pandemic my pregnancy and birth were nothing as I expected but MPMC made me and my husband feel supported, safe, and confident that everything was going to be ok. We appreciate the labor and delivery unit and the extra support, kindness, and education they provided us as new parents. Thank you!

They messed up my wife’s blood sample with somebody else’s. My wife has to go collect blood sample again; they collected urine sample but my wife’s doctor said there was no tested result from that at all. No idea what they have done to the urine sample...bummer

Great maternity wing with big bright rooms. Nurses are great here and I highly recommend it.

Was in the area and was walking on the sidewalk passing CVS and as I turned a corner I came across two nurses who yet again, seem to cant help getting involved in personal lives of patients and talking about patients in a demeaning manner as well as witnessing a nurse talk lowly to a person who was just doing their job at a diner by providing excellent customer service in the burlingame plaza. If I ever need to go to the hospital, I will make sure it is never this location

I had surgery here on Tuesday November 24th, and was just released today. I simply cannot speak highly enough of the staff here! Every single person without fail was fantastic, both as professionals and as people.I dont plan on needing hospital care again any time soon, but if I do, I hope I get care like I received at Mills-Peninsula.

Was in here for 4 days, room never cleaned, same sheets with holes in them for all 4 days. Got an EKG, tech said I had a blockage and went to talk to the nurse and never came back, left the sticky pads on me!

ER experience was a nightmare. Child knock on a sharp edge and was bleeding from her head. Rushed to ER and they said wait time is 3 hours!!! Nurse was obviously frustrated.

Horrible service in the ER. One of the worst Ive ever been to. I had a severely pinched sciatic nerve that made it so that I could barely walk. I drove to the ER and parked right outside the door and called to let them know I needed help getting out of my vehicle. They never came out. After waiting over 30 minutes I managed to barely hobble in. After I was in there the waiting room had 4 people in it. Only 2 patients though. After waiting for another 3 HOURS I had to start screaming at them because I was in so much pain and they were just leaving me sit there. They didnt take a single person in for those 3 hours. They sent security over threatening to throw me and I started recording and threatened to sue them. I was immediately bought into a room after that. This happened about 8 months ago, but I have been there for other things 3 other times and same service. 1 time we ended up walking out and going to San Mateo medical center where we were helped quickly

I had an appendicitis surgery here. I was treated so good, all staff is very kind, helpful and wanted to help me during all my stay there. Surgery was successful and painless, surgeons are professionals.

Personnel are friendly and competent.I feel treatments, tests, procedures are all done to help you & make me comfortable as possible.

Nurses are outstanding and would give a five star rating from the superb care they offered but only giving one star due to a bill that was coded improperly which constituted an additional office charge in which treatment was not provided. I was seen for an annual exam and mentioned that I was experiencing incontinence since they asked how I was feeling after having a baby. Later, I receive a bill since they coded stress incontinence and problem related vs preventative. I NEVER received treatment for this issue during my appt and therefore shouldn’t be billed for it. This bill is being disputed. A medical practitioner is there for care management of their patients not to create additional revenue for the hospital. In this case, care was not provided.

I was there for help with my impacted wisdom tooth. It was nearly three hours before I was released, but it didnt feel like it at all as I investigated. The staff was very kind and friendly, the doctor, very knowledgeable and quick, and the nurses aid and I had a great conversation while he took down my information. I would highly reccomend anyone use this facility when youre in need and in the area. 5 full, healthy stars from me. Id return for any reason if I am in the area or I lived closer!!! This facility is it, folks, get there, and youll get well!!!

If I could give a negative star I would. The mental health services at this hospital are horrible. For being a Sutter health hospital.....Im not impressed. The ONLY positive person I talked to was a nurse. His name is Alex and he was great. Alex deserves 5 Stars. Besides him all the nursing staff and discharge staff were horrible. I filed a complaint against the hospital which of course went nowhere. Id rather take my sick child home than put her at this this hospital.

Ive had good experiences and some bad. If you need a covid test, try finding a free drive up testing site. My doctor referred me to mpmc I got here at 3:30. Spoke to the e.r. doctor at 4:30 and still no test. I had to get out of the car to register and drive around back to where a nurse will come meet you. I called 10 minutes ago, let them know Ive been waiting an hour and a half. The woman who answered said there wasnt anyone available to help me as the ER was busy. She was super rude. Mind you, two children with their grandparents had just been swabbed to the side of me in the parking lot. The doctor already called to speak to me AND came to my car to talk to me. So now I have to find another site to help me since peninsula didnt want to.

Was billed over $500 for three simple blood tests. Asked if they could lower the rate and they said no. This is crazy, Ive gotten one of those three blood tests twice for $10 before elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE OVERCHARGED. They refused to tell me how much the costs were beforehand (isnt that illegal based on new laws?)

This unacceptable wait 25 minutes in a line of 3 person in outpatient laboratory because the 2 ladies was working on the computer, a while aha a man join to the computer and just touching it after 5 minutes he called me and help me, it’s happened twice to me in this week... i am agree working in their job but also they can help first the line and the work ... all the time while they don’t have patients

The best hospital that Ive seen so far other than UCSF on Parnassus. This place is spectacular the staff is great theyre friendly personable a wonderful experience to be here my sister was here for an illness that needed immediate surgery. They even fit the whole entire family with chicken sandwiches and turkey sandwiches that was awesome all never forget my experience here. It was wonderful

On a trip from Ohio and experienced Kidney Stones. Went here based on insurance and convenience and was pleasantly pleased. Every staff member, nurse and doctor was polite, accommodating and thorough. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, helped graciously and treated with respect. The ER waiting room was fairly busy at our arrival of 6 PM on a Monday however our time from arrival to discharge was approximately 2.5 hours, from experience in this situation that is an appropriate amount of time. I was seen, given an IV, meds through the IV, a sonogram and thorough exam and treatment. I would highly recommend this facility if the need should arise. As someone unsure of the area I left thanking each person for their great care in my time of extreme pain and medical care. 5 stars is the best I am able to give, they deserve a 10 star rating!!

The medical center was very good. The physicians/nurses I met were all experts and attended to me well. I did have a billing issue, due to a physician using a difficult to verify third-party billing agency. The staff at Mills-Peninsula went the extra mile to track down and verify the bill.

Wait is to long to see a doctor and the stuff is rude and the doctors dont listen to how you feel or the nurse ether. And they want to start test on you with out talking to doctors witch is very wrong to me you should be able to talk to doctor first.

The Admission Office 3 times brought me Surgery Orders for Vasectomy- sterilization, instead of requested bilateral hernia repair surgery. My correct name and the Urologist signed this Wrong consent form. So I kept hearing, We found your correct papers! But they were always Wrong; Should have just walked away and gone to UCSF hospital. The AMA/CMA didnt care about the abortion-crusading Urologist. I only hope the actual hospital Surgeon MD was trustworthy and didnt sterilize me.And...I filled out the proper forms to get a complete copy of my visit Hospital Records.At the records office, the clerk took my file to the printer next to me and started printing.You dont need this, or this , or this.I reminded her I wanted a complete copy.But she continued with, You dont need this, or this.Yes, I do!It was a struggle, but I left with a full copy and the MDs signature on the vasectomy surgical orders!!(The only quality care I have ever received in a major hospital was Renos St.Marys, Not either M-P or either VA!)

Changing my original rating. Was able to get in touch with the right people and got this resolved fairly quickly and easy afterwards.----------I had an MRI done here and the staff was fine. Issue came with billing. After the MRI I had a follow up appointment with my doctor to go over the results and he did not receive a report for the MRI. I was told by the radiology department I had to come back because they needed additional images to complete the MRI. I was also told there would be no additional charges since it was supposed to be part of the original MRI. Yet I still got slapped with two bills for two separate MRIs. Ive been going back and forth for the last two weeks trying to resolve this. Im just being told to contact different people who are not even answering or returning my calls. Extremely frustrating

Most excellent heart center in the world I recommend this to everyone the hospital is wonderful the nurses are very caring and thoughtful I was there in April and again overnight and November never had a Badd experience

Unfortunately had to visit thisil facility whilst on holiday in the USA from Australia. The service was excellent, every Dr and Nurse were fantastic and went above and beyond to Fix my husband so we could continue on our holiday in America. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Thankyou so much.

I got hauled in to the ER after a case of intestinal virus from hell grabbed me at the SFO airport. The staff was really great. They took very good care of me. If I waited any time at all it wasnt noticeable. Im really glad they were there when I needed them.

Went here because i was having severe contractions at 34 weeks. Was put into the tiniest room nurses could hardly move around the bed, i had 5 different nurses. Each didnt care that i kept telling them my IV was put in wrong or that the pain was increasing. Was told “i was fine” or “ “its painless”. The on call dr made out a plan for more blood draws and shots, i wasnt comfortable with that plan, Because it seemed un-necassary after contractions were stopped successfully. After that the nurses pressured me repeatedly about how i had to follow the on call drs plan and if not i was getting no help or care other wise. I felt overwhelmed and confused, they continued to push and my husband stepped in and told them to stop pressuring me. They ended up not even being willing to disclose any other info or results from tests they did previously and told us to sign a ama paper and leave. So we did. I have to deliver at this hospital because my dr only delivers here. Im so scared to let them do another IV let alone anything else.... esp after how run down the room we were put in and how small. Its nothing like what was described online for their “birthing rooms”.

Although most of the staff was very kind and attentive, they somehow got ahold of my dead name (I was there for Transition related care) and I was Deadnamed repeatedly on paperwork, and by staff. I made several complaints, and finally spoke with hospital administration, who assured me that the issue was resolved. How or why they even had that name is a mystery.Now, two weeks later back home in Colorado I am getting mail addressed from them to my Deadname, which is a risk to my safety due to where I live. Completely unacceptable.

Expect to wait at least 3 hours when youre admitted in to the emergency room. I do understand maybe theres people going through worst than me but seems like its a consistent couple of hours.Ive lived here for years and is 5 min away from my house. Recently this hospital got very professional in the emergency room.Theyre fast with the check in process and are polite. It wasnt like that before. Doctors are hit or miss. There was a doctor who seemed like he was high and didnt know what he was saying. Hospital is definitely up to code, looks modern, and spacious.Advantages- parking, and also you can pick up your prescription within less than a half mile (24 hour pharmacy)Blood labs- are always busy but they give you a tracker and it buzzes when its your turn. Small waiting room and also the phlebotomists are a hit or miss. I had a lady poke me 3 times with the needle. (She couldnt find the right area to draw.) I had the lab lose my results and didnt send it to my doctors address that was stated in lab proposal.

The nurses in ER are horrible! Was a slow day and they still couldntt get their act together... Rudest, laziest people..tried to file a formal complaint but the phones were busy all three times I called and no one has responded to my message ... guess we arent the only ones wishing we had gone to county.

Please beware that this hospitals Emergency Doctors are not part of the hospital in network services. If your insurance has the hospital as in net-work, the doctors in the Emergency are not in net- work which can lead you to be paying a lot out of pocket. I live next to this hospital and if i ever in future have an emergency I vowed never to go here but go to a different hospital!

I am currently helping an employee in a bit of a crisis. I contacted this specific hospital where she was seen for an emergency visit back in January. She now has an outstanding bill. Which she is more than happy to pay through a possible payment plan. Today I was placed on hold 5 times transferred 6 times to multiple people stating they had no idea what she was referring to, her status says 3rd party, California services bla bla bla. I am outraged that this has taken so much time to figure out. Over all poor service from this hospital. It was very easy to send mail that she needs to pay but no customer care to provide answers. BAD Service!!!!!

Very good arrangement of everything, very good behavior of doctors and was very neat and clean.

Received care at this medical center. Asked that I not be put on any mailing list the day I received care... well, Im on this foundations list.Since this day, Ive called 3 times asking repeatedly to have my name and address REMOVED from your mailing list. I do not want to receive ANY unsolicited mail from this foundation, but almost 2 yrs later the mail still continues to come.

Been waiting in er waiting room and got here at 5am until current right now it’s 9am still haven’t see a doctor at all yet. I already told the desk I’ve been waiting too long and yet still had not called the name. So frustrating.

The ER was awesome with my 9 year old son. Friendly staff, limited waiting, quick check in... prefer it now over Seton for sure.

The wait at ER wasnt terrible, but I am having a very difficult time paying my hospital bill due to their nonfunctional web and ios apps. Both the web and ios apps use the same Experian iframe for account creation, which simply put, does not work. I sent customer support an email two weeks ago. I still havent heard back and Im still getting the same errors when attempting to create my account. Check their iOS app reviews to see that the vast majority of users are having similar problems.

Had a surgery done right at this Hospital and love this hospital. I would travel all the way from Stockton to get a serious issue taken care of rather than trust the people in Stockton CA
