I will agree with review below, the best OBGYN Ive ever met. Empathetic, problem-solver, effective decision-making skills, compassionate. The highest level of professionalism! The office equipped very well, and always clean. I had very good experience with her employees as well.

Dr Skalnyi is an angel in real world. She is so patient and kind. And her operations, gentle. So many concerns of mine before the office visit were magically cleared after talking to her. She not only treats my conditions, but also resolves my stress. I feel understood and connected, in tears of joy ♡o(╥﹏╥)o ♥♡

I had two babies with Dr. S. She is incredibly intelligent, compassionate, and funny. All the nurses at Mills hospital said she is THE BEST. Im done having babies but I really miss visiting her office every month.

I highly recommend Dr. Skalnyi. When I was 6 weeks pregnant, I had to get a cyst removed from my ovary. She aided with the surgery and helped me deliver a healthy baby girl. Im forever grateful that I had her as my OB.

Dr. Skalnyi , Caludia and Angela is the best team you can have during your pregnancy and delivery journey. Dr. Skalnyi is not only great at her job, she is very patient to address all your needs and concerns before, during and after delivery. Also, I appreciate very much all her help during my recovery process, which is not easy for thee first time moms.

She is the MOST sympathetic, compassionate, and nicest OBGYN you will ever meet. Period. We need more doctors like her.I am obviously being redundant with other superb reviews here, but this is the least I can do for her. She genuinely cares about her patients. You are not a number, you are her patient and she will make sure you are well taken care of. She listens to you, she is honest, she is talented but humble and she also takes pride in what she does. Yes sometimes you could have a bit of a wait but that’s because she takes time to listen to each of her patients and work with them. Because shes so popular in this area she is always busy but trust me, you wont regret you went to her for your babys delivery. She will deliver all her patients babies herself (its hard to find doctors like that- most let other doctors deliver, if the delivery time falls outside of their working hours) so sometimes she will ask for change in schedule in case of emergency c-section or deliveries of other patients but hey, that means she will do the same for you when your time comes. That only happened once, during my nine months time with her (my routine visit got pushed two hours). I wish she lived next door from me so I could bring her cookies everyday or something. Oh and a cool fact about where she comes from- her family (her father, grandparents and great grandmother) received an award Righteous Among the Nations for risking their lives hiding and rescuing Jews during WWII. I am very grateful she walked with me on my first pregnancy journey, and I am sad I will only get to see her during my annual exam now that I delivered my baby ( OR when my second baby comes ;) ). I had scheduled appointment with Dr. Skalnyi today for my first prenatal appt. Their office called me this morning to let me know Dr. Skalyni has cancelled my appointment and will not be accepting me as a patient since I had seen a dr last week for a prenatal.To provide some context, I wanted to see Dr. Skalnyi since June when my husband and I first decided to start trying. I am new to the area so had to find a OBGYN anyways so I had to decide to make an appt with another dr to start simply start the conversation. Fast forward to September where I found out I was pregnant, I made an appt with the dr I saw in June as well as Dr. Skalnyis office and was transparent that the only reason I had made my prenatal with the other dr is because I had seen her before but would most likely move forward with Dr. S. They were totally fine with it and booked my appt. I am also new to the area so wanted to make sure I was going with the dr that made me most comfortable.I had my prenatal with my other dr yesterday and with Dr. Skalnyi today - Dr. S office even left me a vm to confirm with me yesterday, letting me know they do not allow visitors, which was disheartening.I received a call at 9am this morning by Claudia at dr. Skalynis front desk letting me know Dr. Skalyni has decided to cancel my appointment as she does not do meet and greets and sees I have already had an appointment with another dr. In disbelief, I struggled to understand and explained that they had booked my appt knowing this and that I indeed wanted to move forward with Dr. S per my experience. I told her that this was not a meet and greet and that I was really looking forward to being treated by Dr. S and quite frankly, in tears, begged to keep my appointment. Claudia said there is no way they would accept me as a patient and that I could not speak to Dr. Skalyni. In tears, I told my husband and he reached out, explaining that we still wanted to keep our appointment and how upset I was. Dr. S refused to get on the phone because she said I had an established relationship with another dr (who I saw ONE time) and turned me down as a patient.Moral of the story is, Dr. Skalyni is selective and childish about who she chooses as patients. They will not book you if youve ever seen a past OBGYN. They should have never scheduled my appointment. Living in half moon bay, I had to block out 2 hours of my day for this. Even in tears, her and her office could not care less about the position I was in my first pregnancy. It is disgusting how they acted and seems like a blessing to have not been accepted per their ridiculous immature criteria.

I had to wait one hour to meet Dr. Skalnyi, and Im STILL giving this doctor and her office 5 stars, because my experience was that positive. Im really happy with how I was treated and cared for, by both Dr. Skalnyi and her staff. Im definitely coming back, even if I move.
