I visited them yesterday, new app is improved and tell exact wait time and also send you a text like 15 minutes before, it worked so well for me, also staff at Hillsdale location is as always supper friendly and professional. ( maintaining the social distancing and required precautions for maintain hygiene)

I wish I could give 0 stars. First of all the lady kept making comments like I make you handsome I make you look smart Second of all I clearly told her the kind of haircut I want and she proceeded to tell me that that wouldnt look good and did her own thing. I wouldve appreciated if she just said no thats not what we do here. Now its Thanksgiving and instead of a fade I have a line going around the back of my head!

Rude. Called to schedule an appointment while I was driving. They hung up on me mid sentence. I thought the call dropped so I called back. Soon as I said hi i just called i think the call dropped they said ugh and hung up on me again. At least they do wak-ins. Just needed my bangs done.

I did online check in about an hour before I came. I came they said 10 minute wait. 3 people had come in while we were at the store without online check in and got there hair cut before me. Also they did a fast job at a haircut, it looks good but not as careful as I hoped.

I have been going to Great Clips since over a year now. The good thing about them is that they note down how I want my hair to be cut so each time when I go in, I give them my cell number, they look up my account and I get the same haircut without trying to explain how I would like to style my hair! The staff there is really friendly and the wait times are short (rather too short sometimes which works for me). I have seen that over the time of a year, their staff has changed quite a bit but since they note down my preferences, I do not have to go through the painful process each time of explaining to each one of them. If you are the type of person who always want to get a haircut from that one specific stylist, this might not be the place for you.

I say “Don’t cut it too short please I just want to make it look more maintained” and the lady cuts off an inch or 2. Keep in mind that’s like half the length of my hair.

$20 adults, $18 children sign on front is High even for being next to superrich city of Hillsborough,the Rich are such lousy tippers.I got an $8.99 short term mailer, so tried it. That evening I had a Latino woman cutter who was just average talent. I tipped more out of working poor sympathy for both of us than job well done.My $8(now$10) Vietnamese cutter on Hamilton in Campbell is Much more skilled. SF Chinatown sign is still up for $5 haircut.Use to go to expensive Supercuts on Broadway, but for short hair, became too expensive on that sad, narrow-sidewalk street.May2019, Second haircut with $9 mailer was much better, by Asian male.

Came to get haircut ask for specific style. She gets it completely wrong. One of my few days off and they ruined it. Thanks for not listening and ruining my hair and day.

My experience sucked. First, the online checkin that promises no wait is a scam. I checked in 10 minutes beforehand and they made me wait for three other customers (not online check-ins). The stylist didnt listen to what I asked for including specific directions for trimming the neckline to a curve, not squared off. She answered and talked on her phone twice and didnt seem to exercise any care in giving me a good haircut (for instance she used thinning shears extensively instead of taking the time to use scissors.) My brother had a similar experience so my visit was not an anomaly. Some people like Great Clips but I would not recommend it especially before important events or personal photography.tl;dr: Not a good experience. Not going back, especially when it costs $17.

They do a very good job

Don’t go to this place. They don’t cut your hair how you want it and then insist that it’s not their fault. Countless times my hair has been butchered by their stylists. Save your time, hair, and money by going some place else.

The older lady was rude at check in because they let people pile up before checking them in. Otherwise decent shop.
