Working with Anga has been such a pleasant experience.Ive had hearing aids on and off since childhood and shes been the best doctor Ive had. She takes time to learn about your background and with her depth of experience as a practitioner and educator, shes able to present good options for her patients. She also does a good job of following up with her patients and is accessible when there are questions or concerns.Bottom-line, shes someone that I recommend.

She was excellent at respectfully explaining the different choices to my elderly father, making sure he understood. Highly recommend! She also charged less than comparable places.

I was surprised and delighted by the incredible care Dr. Jennings gave to my Father-in-law while he was visiting from Australia. He wasnt her patient, and she had no obligation to help, but she went waaay out of her way to make sure his hearing aids were not only repaired, but that they worked even better than before. She had limited time to get him sorted out before he went home to Australia, and she did. She definitely earned her hero cape, and with such kindness and grace, never letting on that it was the imposition that Im sure it was.There may be many great Audiologists out there, but I believe you couldnt possibly do better than Dr. Jennings with her combination of knowledge, connections, and kindness.

Dr Anja Lao is very knowledgeable about hearing problems, including tinnitus. She diagnosed my problem, and proposed a solution, when no other specialist was able to make a proper diagnosis. Shes awesome. I highly recommend her if you have a problem. She answered all my questions in a very detailed and patient manner.

As a family doctor I have found it easy in some circumstances to find the right specialist and more difficult in others. When it came time to find an audiologist to meet my own needs I learned a lot. I learned that some providers, though seeming professional, are guided more by their own personal financial interest than by the needs of the patient. I learned that there is a wide variety of service that may be provided by audiologists and that some are way more thorough than others. I learned that price does not always equal value.After consulting with three other audiologists, I was so happy that I found Dr. Lao. She was kind, super thorough, completely open about the alternatives, and transparent about the costs involved in getting hearing aids. Her price was less than some I consulted with and more than others but I am convinced that the value was excellent. I have referred several of my patients recently and all have been delighted.

I have gone to a few audiologists in the Bay Area, and I have to say that my experience with Dr. Anga Lao has surpassed them all. To keep it short, I needed a pair of custom musicians ear filters (Westone Tru series) and needed them within a 2-week frame before a trip to Europe. Dr. Lao was responsive to my inquiries both by email and by text, and was flexible with my unpredictable work schedule changes to ensure I got what I needed and on time. Parking was easy (also walking distance from the Millbrae Bart) and the whole experience was stress-free and informative. Dr. Lao did my ear molds correctly on her first try, and once the molds came in, she tested the attenuation of my filters with little microphones and showed me how they worked across my hearing bandwidth with the filters in my ears. She also conducted a free hearing test in a soundproof room. My other audiologists did not do this, and I was impressed with her diligence and care. I was able to go on my trip fully satisfied, and Dr. Lao checked in on me afterwards to make sure everything was working fine. After this experience, Precision Hearing is my go-to spot for my audiologist needs!
