BEAUTIFUL! It’s a relatively small lake and as far as I’m aware you can’t have a motorized boat on the lake. But, you can kayak, canoe and and paddle board.We didn’t camp 🏕 so I can’t tell you how camp grounds are.

Beautiful alpine lake. At over 8,000ft, and amply wooded, this is a wonderful oasis from the heat of the desert below. Cold winds can blow in the morning, bring a jacket. Great Lake for paddling around with lots of fish.

Loved the campground. It was clean and not crowded. On the way up we saw a moose. We saw deer in the campground from our campsite. Even a small herd of cows went to the lake for a drink. The water was cold but good for a swim. Mt. Harrison fire lookout is only a ten minute drive. There are a couple of short hiking trails. A trail around the lake, a dirt till to the Albion Lookout (trail culminates at a bench overlooking Albion), and a fun trail up the mountain. Well be back for sure.

Choose your site carefully, some are much better than others. Arrive mid-morning for best options. Bring a kayak or canoe. Beware of cows!

Lake Cleveland is one of Southern Idaho secrets and one of our Familys favorite places to go. This is a little piece of Summer heaven.

Such a beautiful area. I wish the camp grounds were a little better since we paid for camping. Not really tent friendly.

Beautiful place to visit. Bathrooms are not very well maintained, so be ready for that.

Nice place to go camping either camping on a tent or RV. Great place for Wedding ceremony or just taking pictures.

I get up here when I can during the week. The dog loved it and in the fall the crowds are gone and the lake is low.

Had a great time catching some nice trout again this year, for only being 1 1/2 hrs. From Buhl, ID.

Got a very strange message from Res. AM. saying the campsite may not be available on 1 of the days of our reservation due to weather. The message was sent to is over 2 weeks prior to the date in question. Interesting that someone felt comfortable forecasting weather that far ahead. Besides, why would weather be an issue the 3rd week in July?

Beautiful small lake with campsites. There were several doing some fishing. Peaceful and enjoyable. We skipped some rocks this afternoon and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Very pet friendly...great group of happy campers. Almost like a family. Would change the facilities but what can you expect. Very close to nature and down to earth.

I love Lake Cleveland! I come here every summer and have never been disappointed. Is a great place to take the family or to hang out with friends.

Always more crowded than Walmart on Sunday. Virtually treeless, cramped and overrun ever since the powers that be built a road into the lake. Not as pretty or nearly as nice as it used to be. 1 star is all it deserves.
