Electrician showed up on time at 8am to install a new ceiling fan in my office and move my old office ceiling fan out to my living room. Everything went great, fixtures work great, gave me good advice on matching the rods and finished the work quickly and efficiently. Also brought a refrigerator magnet and a letter opener (which I sure needed) with their contact info. Very polite, very neat and cleaned up thoroughly. Will use this firm again, asked for and received advice in changing my Nook ceiling light to a fan with a light too. My work was the price I was quoted, I thought it might be less but got very good value for my money, I’d prefer the work to be outstanding and this was. Thank you!

Zack is the first electrician I’ve every had to call about an issue and my experience was very pleasant! He’s professional and extremely knowledgeable! I called Zack based on a recommendation from a general contractor who has done work on my home. He responded to my voicemail within minutes and we discussed my reason for calling him - removal of old bathroom fan/light and installation of new one I had purchased which was quieter and brighter. I was going to do the work myself, but decided to call in a professional when the fixture would not come out after I removed the only visible screws. In our initial phone discussion, I explained to Zack the details of the job and asked him for his hourly rate and his estimate of how long he though it would take. He quoted me his rate and told me that his best guess was that it would be a 1 to 2 hour job, but would give me a better estimate upon looking at it. He was on time and within minutes of his arrival he assessed the job and told me it would be as he stated, a 1 to 2 hour job. One hour and 10 minutes into the job, he called out to me asking for a broom to clean up. I told him not to worry about cleaning up, as I can do that myself (I jokingly mentioned to him that I had called him out to do something I could not do, not to do something I can do myself). I asked him how much I owed him, and he quoted me the price for one hour. I wrote out my check and gave him a 10% bonus. He could have EASILY (and lawfully) priced it out as a two-hour job because he went over an hour, but he didnt do that. Clearly, he is true to his tagline, The Honest Electrician. I give him my highest recommendation.

So Mr. Jarmon came an hour early but he had called first to make sure it was ok. I had no power on two of my four walls so I thought. After testing Mr. Jarmon determined that three of my four wall had no power. After his investigation with me , he went to the first outage and found that it the main problem. He very quietly fixed the issue. I wish I could show pic to show his work. A totally new level of professionalism. And I didn’t freak out when he gave me the bill...I actually smiled!! In and out in thirty minutes!! All smiles!!

We recently sought out estimates from a couple of the “big names” running commercials around DFW as well as a couple of local vendors. After gathering quotes and doing some online research, we selected Providence Electric DFW.It was easy to make an appointment with a time of our choosing and the Providence team even arrived a few minutes early on the appointed day. The Providence team were courteous and professional the whole time; they wore masks and practiced social distancing but still made sure to confirm installation ideas with us throughout the process to ensure our satisfaction. They even found a wiring problem that the previous homeowner had created, and they made sure we understood our best options for fixing it. Ive used Mr. Jarmon for several jobs, from installing recessed lighting, adding new electrical lines, circuit breaker failures, and general repairs. When it looked like there was a problem from previous work he did, he was quick to return to the job. However, it wasnt something wrong from the previous job. I have never experienced anyone in the service industry with better communication. He is honest, takes time to walk you through what he is doing or going to do and educates you along the process. I cant say enough good things about him. Ive found his pricing to be very reasonable.

Zach and C.J where ON TIME! Which is great for past experience with electricians. They were also friendly and simple to work with. They didn’t take to much time to fix a short and our kitchen light Ballast. The circuit short was the main reason for the visit but Zach was willing to go the extra mile by fixing the ballast and replacing the fluorescent light bulbs for LED bulbs. Although They were quick,they weren’t so eager to get in and out of my house before taking the time to explain to me what was the cause for the issue.Definitely recommend them for another visit.

Very responsive. I have an AHS home warranty and would have normally used them but they can sometimes be slow at sending out technicians. Providence always responds when I need them. replaced a faulty breaker that kept tripping the refrigerator. Have used several times in the past and will continue to have their number on speed dial.Update:3/24/21. Had to call Providence out again to replace two more breakers. I asked If it made sense just to replace the entire panel and he said no because some of them may be good. Very honest and didn’t rip me off my saying “yes” and charging $$$$ of money to do work that may not be necessary.

We called this company after our AC went out and the electricity in half our house was out. Mr. Jarmon came out the same day, even though it was after hours. We ended up needing to replace our outdoor breaker box, it had extensive damage and was melting, we are lucky our house didn’t catch fire. This company worked us into their schedule and came out early morning, they worked quickly and got us up and running again.
