I was in extreme pain and they got me in quickly. They presented me with two different options, both vastly different in prices. There was absolutely no push…at all. They also offered two payment options. I have used them before and they were so graceful extending time during the pandemic for receipt of payments. I will be a forever customer and have recommended them to many. I don’t know what option I will choose yet, but I know I can do so without feeling pressured!! Also…excellent staff every time I have been in there. Friendly and no drama!

Outstanding experience! I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist. Today was my first visit with them. The staff made me so comfortable. They were kind and patient. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I have really bad teeth but I felt no judgement which meant the world to me. I would highly recommend.

I had a good experience with the new group of people and the Dentist is wonderful. I do however find it very weird that the lady from the office (I dont know her position) seemed to be VERY kind, but she was watching over the Dentist with such critical eyes she questioned the dentist about every move he made, and made it uncomfortable to me. I personally think that you praise in public, and reprimand in private, as it says in the book One Minute Manager.

I’ve been taking daughter here since we moved to Joshua in 2019. Took her there again today for a cleaning & her first X-rays, she just turned 3. Dr. Sutton & his staff were so kind & patient with her and loaded her up with little goodies from their toy machine! It made her experience better and calmed her down. I was super nervous since Im used to only taking them to one dentist but let me say from the moment you walk in EVERYONE is super friendly they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Called to make NP appointment for my 4 kids and luckily got in the same day. All staff was very friendly. All my kiddos got their treatments done same day even the one that needed the most treatment. Dr is wonderful explains to kiddos fully what he is doing and what they will feel. Explained to me treatment fully. Overall loved it and my kids loved it aswell will be back for their 6 mo f/u.

They are AWESOME!!!! I HAD A VERY DIFFICULT EXTRACTION!! My appointment was at 4 I was there until 8 pm the broken tooth kept breaking. The staff was wonderful. They took such great care of me making sure I was comfortable and informed and no pain. I cant say enough how awesome it was. The Dentist could have stopped and referred me to an oral surgeon but he knew I couldnt afford it so he took his time and made sure all the tooth and root was out. I would recommend them to anyone. LOVE THEM 💖💖💖

I brought my daughter here for caps on her teeth. First, we were given a card with the wrong date on it. However I discussed the date with the front desk and have the appt card to prove it. Show up on that date and they are closed. Funny enough, I received a message after I left the lot to confirm my appt a week from that date. I called and left a vm which no one called back on. I called 2 days later for clarification to no avail. Then there was an issue with a pre-auth to see if the insurance would cover more which I was told they would do from the initial visit. They hadn’t done that until they called for the confirmation and said it would be a week for a response. Anyways. The actual appt date comes. My child hadn’t had food or drink since the night before per the instructions. The appt was at 7:30. By 9 we had done nothing but pay. I finally say something after my child asked for something to drink. We were told that between meds and whatnot the longest part is the wait. I explained all we had done by now is pay. She said spoke to the assistant to get us in 15 minutes. Well it had been almost 39 and I just asked for a refund.In all, they are fine for simple cleanings but anything else-don’t waste your time.I will say some of the front desk are kind but didn’t really care about your wait.

We didnt have an appointment, but my son had a horrible tooth pain so they worked us in around their other patients. The entire staff was so kind and helpful. Doctor Zack was encouraging and made my son feel very comfortable. They all kept us informed each step of the process. And they offer payment plans if you need them. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys.

I had the absolute best experience at this dental clinic. Like many others I’m allergic to the dentist (lol)... They were so patient and passionate with me. The ladies at the front were absolutely awesome! the dental hygienist whose name was Jessica (maybe) was very rude and dismissive to how my daughter felt. She is 4 years old and it was her very first time at the dentist. Front office ladies, Stephanie and another woman whose name i can’t remember, came from the front to the back to my daughter’s room to try to help make it easier for her. I can’t rave about those 2 ladies enough. They really went above and beyond to try to make my 4 year old daughter feel better about her first experience at the dentist. She was in a lot of pain crying and scared. The hygienist told my daughter that because she wouldn’t comply with the X-rays she wouldn’t get a coin for the toy machine which made her cry even more. I was not upset about not being able to get the X-rays I was upset by the way the hygienist treated my daughter. If you are not patient enough to deal with children DO NOT WORK AT A PLACE THAT DEALS WITH CHILDREN. I only came to this location because they advertise as a place that is kid friendly. Never tell patients that you have other children you need to see. That is completely unacceptable. I will be returning to this facility for our follow up because everyone else was really good. I’m going to ask that we not be seen by that specific hygienist. After that we will be in search of more kid friendly dentist.

The thing that sets them apart from other dentist offices Ive been to is how incredibly friendly the staff is. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable during your visit. The day of my appointment when I left it was raining really hard and even though I parked close one of the dental assistants ran to her own car for her umbrella and insisted she walk me to my car with it. There was a longer wait than usual for my procedure (I had already been called back to my room) which doesnt affect my satisfaction with my care one bit because they let me watch whatever I wanted on the tv, checked on me to make sure I was okay, offered a blanket which I happily took, and offered water. The dentist is just as polite, too. Ive never been more comfortable with office staff, and usually have a problem with them being cold or rude, but you definitely wont have that problem here. Just a surprisingly great team that stands out. I hope I never have to go anywhere else and can continue any other care with them.

Everyone there was really friendly and nice. The prices are decent if you do not have insurance. The doctor who took my tooth out was awsome. He was fast and talked to me about everything he was doing during that time. The only thing was my aftercare paper was in Spanish. Which would be cool if I knew Spanish. Lol I found it funny.

This is ridiculous! My husband has been waiting for a call back for almost 2 months to schedule a root canal and crown. Half of the deposit was left the same day of first appointment and now first payment was taken out and still no call back to schedule. A month in I called and the receptionist said she would call me back in no more than a couple days and no call back. Today I have been calling and the male receptionist who answers the phone put me on hold and then connected call and hung up! Ive been calling back since 4:45pm. And my calls are forward and not answered! This is ridiculous!

Every time I enter Burleson Family Smiles, I am greeted with welcoming smiles. Each staff member makes me feel comfortable. The doctor is very skilled and compassionate. He provides excellent dental care. I highly recommend Burleson Family Smiles! Everyone is so pleasant!

I spent a total of 4 hours there today. I arrived for a 2:00 appointment at 1:50, was called back around 2:30, then waited until 3:30 or so before I had x-rays done, then another 45 minutes or so before the doctor came in. From that point, it was normal proceedings and took until 5:45 to finish up a deep cleaning which included numbing. Seemed to be an inefficient check-in and early process.That being said, the doctor I saw was fantastic. Very kind and patient and helpful. The technicians who did my x-rays were very nice and did a good job. Overall, I’m happy with the experience the staff gave me when I was working with them directly, but the waiting was excessive. I’ll likely go back in hopes this was a fluke.

My son lost his two front teeth while playing at the park with his brother two days before Christmas and they were there to provide care. They kept calm which in return kept me and my son calm. They are just amazing people!

This was a very good experience. We transferred from Ikids to here and it was worth it. The dentist was very kind and very patient and extremely genuine with my children. I was very impressed with how he handled my son when he was afraid of getting his procedure done. Another thing that impressed me was how everyone works together here. The front desk, the dental assistants as well as the doctors all communicate with each other on such personal levels when it comes to dealing with patients. I really love that. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Update: My husband took my sister in to have her back molar removed. He had never been to this dentist before. They removed her tooth that had been bothering her. He had nothing but good things to say about the dentist. He was very professional and kind. My sister has been in such pain with her back molar and now she finally has some relief thanks to the dentist at Family Smiles of Burleson. You and your staff are wonderful!I took my sister here for a third opinion on her back grown up molars and Im so glad I did! The dentist was so great and knowledgeable! The staff was friendly and we were not pressured into anything that we were not there for in the first place. Definitely reccomend and will be taking my family here from now on!

My appointment was at noon. Had some issues with my insurance that was entirely my fault but then continued on with x-rays and getting a treatment plan that I could pay out of pocket for. After putting down a $150 deposit down and setting up a payment plan it was now about 2:30pm. They came in about 30 minutes later to give me the numbing shots. It worked great and I couldnt feel anything. But I had previously told them that I metabolize quickly and they said it wouldnt be an issue. Well then I sat unattended for an hour and a half completely numb to the point I actually fell asleep for a short period of time. By the time the doctor came back in, the novacaine had worn off significantly. I was told that wasnt possible so he started digging in my mouth and it HURT. He gave me two more shots and checked again about five minutes later and I could still feel the pain. So I sat there for another 20 minutes just for someone to tell me that they can no longer treat me because they couldnt seem to get me numb. Mind you, I was numb two hours ago and it is now almost 5pm. They refunded my money but not without attitude. The staff was great at first but then when my mouth wouldnt numb up again they suddenly had a problem after wasting 5 hours of my time. Im also transgender and was misgendered consistently the entire appointment even after I told them I was trans and my own mother kept correcting them on my pronouns. Absolutely miserable experience that started out well. Now its 8pm and I just had the same tooth pulled at the emergency dentist for the same price and in less than an hour.

Took both of my children here and Ive never experienced such outstanding customer service. Staff was all very nice and had great humor. Instead of performing unnecessary dental work, the doctor took time to explain how to improve my kids dental hygiene and left many opportunities for Q&A. I raved so much my husband has asked that I make him an appointment here as well. Thanks Family Smiles for making both experiences Fantastic.

Great experience. My wife has a severe phobia with dentists but they calmly explained every step along the way and would pause every so often to ask her how she was doing. They let me be in the room also. Only complaint was how long we were there, 4 hours. Was on a Saturday morning and they were extremely busy. Other than that, we both loved them. Bring a jacket or blanket, it was cold. Better than being too hot though...lol.

The organization is overall disappointing. The staff isn’t trained properly including the dentist. He is quick to send his patients somewhere else if they question his treatment. He will sit in his office trying to wait them out so he doesn’t have to perform services on them. He has also had several patients leave with the intent of pursuing legal action due to his lack of dental skills. The corporate office is fully aware of these actions however still allows him to continue to work on patients.The staff is unorganized and has displayed acts hostile, aggressive and unprofessional actions towards and in front of patients. A staff member made a physical threat towards myself, a previous manager, and was terminated. However, she was hired back in the same office the next day by the regional manager and head of HR. The explanation I received was no one else heard the employee threaten me while we were in a private meeting and it was her word against the mine. The same employee got into another altercation with a very nice couple not too long afterwards. The dentist broke the patients dentures and of course they got upset and wanted to speak to him about it. The employee went in to speak to them instead and she became once again extremely hostile and verbally aggressive with the patients. The regional made attempts to blame myself for her actions even though this was her 3rd aggressive act in the office.Money definitely comes first as ethics, staffs safety and the health of the patients come last. I was extremely excited, at first, to work for this organization until I quickly learned this was a company that lacked empathy and professionalism. I was the 6th or 7th manager hired over the last 2 years which says a lot about the office and upper management. I had several other managers, employees and head of HR state how much this office had lacked and has failed to meet the basic standards for many years. This location would honestly have potential with a stronger professional team, professional dentist that genuinely cared for his patients and a supporting upper leadership and corporate office.

I had not been to the dentist in decades due to anxiety caused by a horrible dentist experience in the past. Dr. Zach at Family Smiles erased my fears in one visit. He is kind, funny, empathetic, and he genuinely listens to your concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and skillful. The staff is also very kind and professional. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment, something I never thought I would say about the dentist.

I was worried about finding a good dentist when we moved here from another state because my kids had a great pediatric dentist there. My kids love this dentist. The dentist and hygienist were very professional kept their mask on the whole time very good with the kids unfortunately the dental assistant doing the charting kept taking her mask off and telling us how bad her head hurt she looked like she was sick with the pandemic this really worried me as shes sitting over my sons face with no mask on complaining that she doesnt feel great ....we will not be back

This is 2nd time I came here. I was disappointed the first time and today was worse. But I wanted to give them another chance. My son was there 2 hours for a cleaning n xray. I have NEVER been at a dentist so long for basic care. I finally wet to front desk to pull my son out because they were done. But they were taking so long due to confusion regarding my insurance. There shouldnt have been any problem because I gave them all that info before the appt. Then today I filled out new patient paperwork with insurance info and they still were confused. I will not return to this office.

Went yesterday with my two young kids and got cleanings and x-rays for all three of us. Every single member of the staff was helpful and kind. The dentist was engaging with my kids and made it a fun experience. The in-house dental plan they have makes going to the dentist very affordable. The office was clean and recently remodeled. I like the new dentist. Very thorough. They finally have a hygienist so teeth can be cleaned. The only thing I would do is get the chairs in the waiting room cleaned. Several look like someone peed on them. I accidentally left out the staff! All were so nice and had a good sense of humor. Very professional and appear to be glad you and they are glad to be there.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience on the first visit. Staff at desk were very attentive and fun.
