Although much of Dr. Posners practice centers around weight loss, he is also an outstanding primary care physician. I have been a patient at his practice for almost 20 years and have always been fully satisfied with his attention to my needs. I just had my annual physical with him and he took time to explain the results and what his suggestions were for my attention in the year ahead. The office does not deal directly with insurance companies, so patients must submit their claims directly themselves. To me that is a minor inconvenience, since I have direct access to the doctor himself, often at short notice. I am very happy with Dr. Posner and his office.

Very professional office and very organized. I used to manage 2 primary care offices which is not easy, but they are pretty streamlined. I even got “roomed” by Dr. Posner, which was nice to have that personal touch. He is so knowledgeable and thorough. Very impressed, may even change my PCP to Dr. Posner!

In January of 2020 I paid this practice $300 to evaluate my health in order to obtain a medical marijuana card for chronic pain. What I was not told is that there were no open dispensaries in Virginia at that time which rendered my prescription useless and if I had spent the money to obtain my card at that time ($50 which goes to the state) that would have been useless as well.Now it is March of 2021 and dispensaries are open but my prescription has run out and I have to pay for a renewal. Especially this means I have paid $100 for a renewal when I could have waited for the initial consultation until dispensaries were open and saved myself the additional $100. I’m disabled from chronic illness and on a fixed income. This is a significant expense for me.There are complications trying to get my medical marijuana card because I was at one time a clinician in the state of VA. I have tried speaking to the office staff at least 4 times today and was finally given a phone number which required a 70 minute hold to speak to someone in order to attempt to correct the problem.I am a chronic pain patient. That is not possible. The staff and doctor are nice, but no one seems to have, from the beginning of this process, full and correct information. Which leaves me as the patient feeling as though, from the start of the process, this willful lack of information. Information was ignored regarding what the patient would have to go through to actually obtain the medication that they need in order to keep churning out prescriptions and excepting money.

As an ICU RN, this year , after a lifetime of spartan weight control, I gained 20lbs(that Ill admit to) during the horror and sadness of caring for the sick of the pandemic. I KNOW what to do, but needed some help to redirect behavior. Everything is discussed, labs and EKG done and reviewed, and this is no gimmick, it is support and a plan. Doc Posner and his staff are warm, inviting and friendly. I found this group from a patient of mine who I thought was going to die of his obesity, and when I saw him on the outside, now 2 years later- he is less than half of the dying obese man I had met. And keeping it off!

I am very pleased with my Serotonin Plus Weight Los Program, they gave me an EKG, and blood work, went over all my medications to make sure I was able to do the Plan. The supplements are great quality, and I haven’t had any adverse reaction the Phentermine, they gave me,which is a weight loss medicine. I take Mirtazapine which is an antidepressant. And I haven’t have any problems at all. Very happy with the program, and the Supplements.
