My massages with Krista are always incredible. She finds knots in muscles I didnt even know I had! Its obvious that Krista really cares about her clients well being, I feel really comfortable with her and her massage techniques are outstanding. Definite 10 out of 10 😀

Calvin was a great. I wanted more pressure on this massage so to increase stiffness. He asked if the pressure was ok and he stayed in the sore areas (knotted) when he felt them. I definitely felt better the next day.

Arnesa (Rizza) is the best. I’ve been seeing her for years, and I was so afraid she had left during the pandemic last year. But as soon as I received the vaccine, I was so happy to find her again. Wonderful massage each time.

Ive been seeing Mr. Jun monthly for a few years now - and every time I walk out feeling much better than when I went in. He always does an excellent job. One of the best things about Mr. Jun is that he picks up on what areas need the most attention and makes adjustments in technique and time spent accordingly. I book appts with him in order to focus on this area.I have also been seeing Jamal and Jun regularly for a few years and like him a lot for full body massages. Just right amount of pressure without pain. Always need extra work in back, shoulder, and neck areas.

I have had great massages all through the pandemic at the Burke Center Massage Envy. The staff has been friendly, efficient and careful. The therapists are top notch and really know their stuff! Most recently my therapist was Jae-woo who did a fantastic job working the knots in my neck and back. Steve is super talented as well and hugely knowledgeable. I always know I’ll be treated well.

Jun is the kindest massage therapist I’ve ever been to! He always checks in to see that you’re ok and if the pressure is good throughout the massage. He always asks before massaging certain areas or doing certain stretches with your arms and legs so I always feel really comfortable with him! After the massage he’ll usually tell you where on your body you are most tense and will go over helpful stretches with you to do on your free time. Overall he is a very well mannered and polite man! He is very thoughtful and you can tell that he cares about your well being because he takes the time to go over tips and stretches that will aid you!! If you’ve never gotten a massage before or are a newcomer I would definitely recommend Jun!

Krista is my preferred provider at Massage Envy Burke. She is wonderful, always listening and addressing whatever issues I have that day. Mike is very knowledgeable and helped relieve pain that doctors wanted to throw medicine at and PTs couldn’t resolve for a year. First time at this location and had a session with Jun. His technique was different than what Ive had at massage envy(ME) in the past, and Ive been a member for 2+ years at an out of state ME. He was geat with varying pressure when needed, and attentive to areas that need more work. In short,, he knows what hes doing. At the end of the session he gave me some helpful advice on stretching and things I could do for daily maintenance (I have migraines). Jun advised me more than my primary care physician did at my last Drs visit! This location is out of my way but I will be going back.

I had the opportunity to book an appointment with Megan at the Massage Envy Clinic and I was not disappointed. She was responsive to the areas of concerns listed on my intake form, especially after being in an accident two years ago. I will be going back to see her again. She books fast, but that works because I live out of town. I left feeling relieved of the stress and tension that was in my body. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to others.

Jamal is such a great therapist. I’ve had chronic pain in my neck and shoulders for a year. I’ve tried everything on my own to get rid of the pain but after just one session with Jamal I began to see a huge difference! I now see him regularly as a preventative. He has really helped improve my quality of life because I no longer deal with neck and shoulder pain.

First time I went I felt like I may have made matters worse. I made a 2nd appointment and was paired with Mike. Hesitant at first but he’s awesome. They told me he’s been doing this for almost 19 years and it shows. My back feels great and he’s so knowledgeable about what to do to help ensure it stays that way. I’ve been seeing Calvin (aka Jamal) for years. He’s an excellent massage therapist who takes the time to understand your pain points (literally) and help alleviate them.

I have chronic pain in my neck, shoulders, and lower back that sometimes gets so bad I have headaches for weeks if not months if not taken care of due to my muscles forming knots. Due to this I have found I have to get massages on a regular basis to help get rid of the knots to live a productive and pain free life. Before I came to massage envy I had an amazing massage therapist that had return overseas who would flatten my muscles out like a steamroller. When I look for a massage therapist I look for someone that can work out the muscles and use techniques that will make them relax in the long term instead of just just rubbing oil around my body.Jun at the Burke location can do just that. He asks you where you would like to focus on for the session and will ask for feedback about pressure. Also, if there are areas that are more intimate like under the armpit he will always ask prior to touching. He always tried to make you comfortable.There is nothing like elbows on the body to make pain go away.

I went into Massage Envy having major back spasms. I had much difficulty transitioning from sirring to standing, and could not raise my left leg. After Manuels magic hands, I am moving better and much less pain today. Thank you Manuel!

Steve Dix has been my therapeutic massage therapist for almost 10 years. Hes a very talented & professionally competent therapist. I have major issues with severely tight muscles in my neck, shoulders & back. Steve is the only massage therapist that Ive seen in the last decade who can attack those areas & provide me relief. Additionally, the Burke, Va. Massage Envy staff is always courteous & professional. They are very good about letting me know when appointments are avail for my highly sought after Steve Dix, which is very important because appts with him fill up fast!

I needed a massage so booked an appointment at the Burke Massage Envy with Manuel, who gave me a great deep tissue massage that got the knots and tension out of my upper back. I will surely go back soon and recommend that if you prefer deep tissue massage that you try to book with Manuel.

Jun is highly gifted in both the art and science of massage therapy! Prior to signing up for a monthly membership and being paired with Jun, my range of motion was poor, I had more knots than a sailing boat, and my back and sciatic nerve pain was debilitating! Jun is a true professional and has a great bedside manner...He checks in periodically throughout the session to ensure Im ok and asks for permission to stretch and touch (e.g. underarms).

Ed is a fabulous therapist. He asks what you need, and validates that his work is effective. He’s so good I travel 90 minutes for my massages.

Safety precautions are good. You complete a questionnaire and wait outside until your appointment time. You are let in one at a time, get your temperature taken, and meet with your technician. Mr. Jun is excellent.
